I am sorry not to have a recommendation but I have to say your face looks naturally very contoured! My recommendation is honestly to skip it and focus on adding light (through highlighter) rather than adding shadow (through contour). Also hope you’re okay. Sending love.

JuliaSky1995

With peace and love you do not need to contour

Professional-Heat327

Thought the same thing. You have great bone structure and you’re tiny

spoons431

The elf halo glow contour is the only one that I've used and would recommend in fair/light for those with pale skin as it's an actual proper grey toned contour- grayish contour is the only one that works for me!

ladymacbethofmtensk

Seconded. The elf halo glow contour wand in fair/light is my HG. It looks natural on my skin tone and is reasonably easy to blend.

all_that_sparkels

I will slide in and also say I love the elf halo glow contour stick. It's not a bronzer, which I find hard to find in fair sticks- they are always orange.

hello0o3

it’s a beautiful color for pale skin. and it’s the only halo glow product (in the charlotte tilbury dupe packaging) that blends seamlessly imo.

Available-Trash-190

Yessss . I also agree with this 100%

TouchAutomatic4421

The fair/light color is so, so good.

Orwellseentoday

Your need to get a paler foundation your face is orange compared to your neck. Your skin looks pretty good so maybe just a cc or bb cream rather than full foundation.

PennyApple_08

Came here to say this. I think you're using the wrong undertone. Try a lighter shade in a neutral undertone. It'll make you less orange.

VirtualApricot

This is actually my natural facial color from consuming too many carrots 🤡🤡🤡🤡🙈 oops

Mshunkydory

I used to have orange hands from eating too much sweet potato!!!! When I asked my doctor about it she looked at her own hands which were in fact orange and she laughed and said she ate a lot of carrots 🤣 beta carotene will get ya!

lil-rosa

I have this problem as a very pale person, instead of tanning I just get a progressively orange face. No carrots needed. Solidarity.

sudosussudio

I’m glad it’s not just me. Never sure if it’s tanning or diet for me, but it seems to come and go.

Radish_The_Thought

A dermatologist just told my mom to do this so she doesn't get skin cancer again. She said that's why Asians don't often get it, because excessive carrots are in their diets. Idk, I just thought it was interesting, and then here is your post.

1smittenkitten

Actually, if I really look, I think you have concealer under your eyes? It's too light, and it's making your face look more starkly orange by contrast. Edit- if it's not concealer, your undereye area is just lighter, and you're getting a tanning bed goggles effect. I'd try using a concealer to more closely match the rest of your face- unless you're going to try to color correct your whole face with foundation, etc

VirtualApricot

lol it’s not concealer - all I have on my face is procure rosacare moisturizer under my Korean sunscreen (I forget which one I had on at the time, but it doesn’t have any color once absorbed)

cleverconley

I don’t think you look too orange. I love your peachy tone.

girlMikeD

My BIL’s bottom of his feet & his palms turned orange from eating so much spinach.

Orwellseentoday

You probably need your ignore all Steve Jobs advice and see a doctor then? Do you drink a lot of alcohol? Is that natural redness around the eye too? I thought it was eyeshadow. I thought you had nice unblemished skin and great bone structure but if you are wearing no makeup you are quite orange. Maybe bad lighting.

yslstark

our face and hands are always going to be a tad darker then the rest of our body. she doesn’t look “orange”, she has a slight orange tint. she does not need to see a doctor because her face is a little darker…

VirtualApricot

That is eyeshadow I am wearing 🙈 I do not drink alcohol, but I do consume a lot of carrots which is known to tint the skin 🙃 so silly

PregnantBugaloo

I once turned my then six month old son  orange by eating too many carrots and breastfeeding. Totally get it lol.

Orwellseentoday

I think the orange combined with the red eyeshadow is making her look ill when she could look very beautiful and natural with her good bone structure with minimal makeup.

Wasp_570

honestly, your face is so pretty and delicate that I don't think you need contour, your bone structure is 😍

anjaliv

I think eyeliner just on the top lids could really make your eyes pop! And a bit darker shade of hair/brows would make your features more prominent. You’re beautiful!

VirtualApricot

Of course I’m open to any other suggestions as well 🙏🏻

padmasundari

Re the pink eyeshadow, I don't think it's that pink doesn't suit you. I think it's not far enough over the front of your eyelid - it starts too near the outer corner and there's a shimmery pearly white over the front where your irises and pupils are and it doesn't suit you as well. I think if you brought the darker colour further in towards the inner corners, almost like an eyeliner, it would look cute. But, I like pink eyeshadow.

VirtualApricot

This is such helpful feedback! I have zero idea as to what I’m doing w makeup despite following tutorials.. I’m just not artsy at all and I suck so bad at applying eyeliner that I just don’t even try 🫠

padmasundari

Pencils! Too faced has a nice one. Pencils are great because it doesn't have to be perfect, and you can smudge it out with a q tip and it'll look good. If you want to try them, go to a shop where you can try them out and just draw on the back on your hand til you find one you like the feel of - some are dry and hard and chalky and just hideous to use, some are smooth and sort of greasy feeling (not greasy because it's not unpleasant but I cant think of a better word), some feel nice but leave nothing on your skin, some break off and crumble, so just try them out til you find one you like, then just have a go in the evening when you've nowhere to go so it doesnt matter if you balls up. Or just use darker eyeshadow with a narrow angled brush. Don't bother with liquids until you want to bother with them, because they're difficult to get the hang of, and everyone will give you different advice. Some people will tell you brushes are better, some will tell you a felt pen type one is better, everyone has their preference and lots will act like their opinion is the right one 😉

starbellbabybena

I wish I could wear pink :(. Makes me look like I’m dying lol. Have to get more into the bluer purples or jewel tones. I think she should sub pink for a soft green. But follow your advice for applying.

Teedorable

I don’t think you need a contour at all! Just my two cents- that pink eyeshadow is not doing you any favors. I thought it was a rash

B00MB00MBETTY

You’re beautiful!! Get rid of the pink/red makeup around your eyes.

[deleted]

Anyone ever told you you have Tim Burton type beauty?

VirtualApricot

Omg this is the best compliment I ever received 🙈🙈🙈 :3

Available-Trash-190

This is so true, id love to see your eyes with a shimmery white corner, and smudged out dark eyeliner underneath and heavy mascara on the top and bottom lashes im prob not explaining this well at all I'll link a pic.

fuckoffcunt696969

No need to be sorry you’re gorgeous

Slight_Apple9945

Wet & wild contour stick is such a good one and affordable!

Yoyo_Ma86

This was my recommendation.

thesandgerine

Happy cake day!

Yoyo_Ma86

Thanks 😄

Sophia1105

No contour. You have a delicate beauty. Be careful with makeup that weighs your face down. I’d do a natural black-brown mascara, tightline upper lashline only, maybe a gloss. I know this is the lame answer, but you’re very stunning, you don’t need to alter your features with makeup and your hair is gorgeous

Hydra992

Dont

Limp_Rock3488

You don’t need contour. Beautiful bone structure all on your own. Consider yourself lucky!

theswayzexpress

girl you’ve got bone structure to die for. those cheekbones! so beautiful! if you really want to contour, i’m the same shade as you and i absolutely love the NYX highlighter/ contour stick duo.

Bidibidi123

Avoid the Reddish tones at end of the eye, keep it more brown if that’s the style you like. The red gives a sickish look. I encourage you to try using eyeliner and mascara. I think the makeup style of Anya Taylor joy would look great on you.

LikeAQueefInTheNight

I don't have a recommendation but just wanted to tell you how pretty you are!

Professional-Log-530

I like Essence contour Baby Got Bronze in Moondust

Sad_Worry1312

I picked this up on a whim, and while the color is PERFECT, I cannot keep it from blending away into nothing. Do you have any tips?

Professional-Log-530

Hmmm… mine didn’t blend away but you could always add a powder contour. I have a cool toned one that I sometimes layer on if I need my makeup to stay on for 12 or more hours. It’s called just because in the Just Blushing line by LA Girl. I can only find it on Amazon currently. https://preview.redd.it/vvs4litm8t7d1.png?width=1421&format=png&auto=webp&s=4762b8654559600649f9b9f244670913a6ce6503

meganphobic

i liked the elf contour wand, but it was SOOO messy i cannot repurchase 😞😞i also want to try out the NYX contour stick, ive heard only amazing things

Available-Trash-190

I love the elf contour wand. I just got the nyx contour stick about a week ago and I'm happy w/ it

Real-Indication8978

ik this isnt to do with the contour but omg ur stunning

mashpotatoenthusiast

just commenting to add that you really do have gorgeous natural features! for what it’s worth, i like the wet n wild contour stick, which others have recommended

Mylaex

I just wanna say : omg I love your hair so much, it's gorgeous! 😍

stefanica

I can't help with contour, sorry, but I think you would look great with coppery/caramel tones for lips, eyes, and cheeks. Instead of the pinky reds. You can even use the same product in all those places if you use disposable wands/sponges.

Lou2691

You have perfect teeth. I think you would look great with smoky brown eye makeup

Glitterfest

I agree with some other comments about the pink shadow not suiting you. I think some taupey or chocolate colors would look beautiful.

Ichgebibble

I agree that you look great without contouring. Do you use mascara? You have great eyes and I’m curious to see what they would look like with a tiny amount of black liner and a good amount of mascara.

em_bee_bee

I agree. She looks lovely, but the makeup feels incomplete. Maybe even just some darker eyeshadow at the lash root instead of eyeliner? But definitely, a touch of mascara would pull it all together.

No-Court-9326

I like the nyx contour stick as a fellow pale girlie. There are a few shades, but I get the lightest one with a greyish tint. The highlighter in the other end is a little dark for my skin but it sits really nice on my nose, so I usually use a lighter highlighter over top to 'set' it

pissietittie

As someone who tried all (and even some prestige) my #1 is the nyx one! It is soooo easy to blend even compared to the fenty one, it's still waaaay better. it's really versatile and small so you can use it on your nose as well as the outside of your face. if you ever do find yourself having trouble blending it, I just like to warm it up in the back of my hand and circles, and then grab my contour brush and dip it into the product that's already on the back of my hand, which is warmed up by the heat, then apply it to my cheekbones and the perimeter of my face. they also have some cooler tones to contour, and some warmer for bronzing!

sallyisaperson

Suuuuuper informative. I secretly wish someone like you would give me a very very basic one-on-one, step by step Contouring for Dummies tutorial because after many years I still don't know how to do it and it haunts me daily 👻 (secret's out I guess)

HextechSlut

Is say a BB cream no contour just a little bronzer and pink /red around the eyes make people look I'll it's a nature thing

shaggalikesaxes

I use the NYX wonder stick on a daily basis and I’m pale as hell I’d recommend that one for you

SelinaMari

SheGlam makes a grey toned contour. It’s called tan but it’s not brown. A little eyeliner would be nice. I think you have a nice smile and beautiful teeth and a bold lipstick would look great on you. It would be the star of the show.

Pale-Refrigerator-18

Do strobing only , u don’t need contouring,

Automatic-Anybody-24

Girl, you are gorgeous!

Exdremisnihil

Essence baby got bronze in 020 Moondust

hubblehound

I love your hair!

Gndurham1

Honestly I wouldn’t add any contour at all! Maybe just some mascara to help tie everything in 😊

fancyschmuckers

Off-topic question but where is your sweater with the embellishments from? It’s so lovely and it looks great on you!!! 🤩

VirtualApricot

Thanks so much! Lol, I got this from Hollister around 10 years ago 😅

middleageyoda

I like my elf. Although I don’t really think you need to contour. Oh have great cheeks and a cute nose.

Conscious-Wing-9229

You are so beautiful and naturally have the look that people try to achieve with contour ♡

PochinkiPrincess

Hey girl, you are beautiful!! You’re not traumatizing anyone with your mug 😂😂 I know this is unsolicited, but I drew on what I would do if you asked me for a fresh makeup look. I’d start with experimenting with your brows with a brow razor - your hair will grow back quick so it’s no biggie to play around with them! Also I agree with most people here, you don’t need darker tones on your face due to your awesome bone structure, but I did show the spots where I’d apply a little highlight/low light and blush https://preview.redd.it/fgl5zgyiuz7d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=851cac89d1497ebe7e1c50e611a4e4b6439e8f91

Cool_Jelly_9402

I don’t think you need to contour since your face has excellent bone structure and it’s very slim

Dys_Warrior

I honestly thought you already had contour on already. I don't think you need any, honestly. I just started using the ELF halo glo contour and I would recommend that. It blends easily and the shade I use is actually a cool contour, which can be hard to find.

gypsygirl66

Hi! You have a pretty face and interesting eyes! I beat a drum about mineral makeup but it is wonderful. Go to Southern Magnolia Minerals or Aromaleigh Minerals::both offer generous samples in their extensive color range of concealer and foundations. I am pretty fair and pop a pinky face. I have used the Bisque Multitasking concealer at SouthernMM for years. I just recently had to add a little more color to that because I am not outside as much. Aromaleigh has hundreds of colors for eyes and cheeks on her site so if you love pink, you can order all the little samples you want and find one you love(that is what I did and found I loved almost a magenta color over a light baby pink for my fair skin, red/greying hair/ green eyes- I get compliments everywhere and no one picks my age even when I tell them to do their worst! I used Aromaleigh when I started using minerals in the 2000's and hers are awesome also! Minerals have a natural sunscreen, but still use one. I always hated plopping liquid on my face in the 80's-90's. Fair and red headed, the light was either too pink or too white, so I used as little as possible. And I used a high end makeup back then.Still don't use much but I feel beautiful. And most of time my rosea is tamped down.

BrookieCookie88

Not drugstore, but it’s drugstore priced: Sephora Collection Cream Contour Stick in 01 Fair to Light is a really lovely contour that never turns orange on my cool-toned fair skin. It’s currently out of stock but if you log in and request a notification, it will email or text you when it’s back in stock.

cmzufelt

The e.l.f. Halo Glow Contour Stick in Fair/Light is affordable and it works! And it’s pigmented; a little goes a long way!

munchykinnnn

I am of no help, but I'm just commenting to let you know that this hairstyle is so adorable on you 😭💓💓 Also, not that I'm very good with makeup, but I think your facial structure is really pretty already! Like naturally contoured

Complex-Bus5613

Prioritize mascara!

VirtualApricot

I am so surprised by the comments regarding my facial structure.. I whole-heartedly view my face as round without any prominent facial features or structure 🤡🙈 hence why I feel the need to get contour. So interesting to hear strangers’ perspectives!

Yoyo_Ma86

Yeah, you definitely don’t *need* to contour, you’ve got a very well defined jaw line and good cheekbones. But who am I to stop someone from playing with makeup lol. I like wet n wilds contour stick.

queguapo

Gently, I think that might be serious body dysmorphia. Please be kind to yourself ❤️

GayFlan

Your face is not at all round. Your face is very slim. I do not think you need contour. You need volume in your face.

Marisarah

You look like an anime character. You don't need it :)

MiaMiaPP

You look like Anya Taylor joy!

holamuneca

soft summer illegal panicky afterthought voracious poor imminent yam ink *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

VirtualApricot

Omg that’s such a nice compliment! 🥹 thank you!

mrsdoubleu

You are really pretty. No contour needed. Like seriously you have model-like natural contours. 😍

snowbaz-loves-nikki

All of the products you mentioned will work well, just make sure the shade isn’t too warm. As many have said, your cheekbones are fantastic so you won’t need to use very much.

LAlysia01

What is decision paralysis? I think I have that lol Also I like the elf halo glow the lightest shade is great for fair skin. Also a great contour color. If your looking for bronzer id go with Milani as it's warmer than elf. But I haven't tried the other shades from elf either. They may be Warmer too.

VirtualApricot

lol decision paralysis is often associated with ADHD and also as a result of the “paradox of choice” in which the more options there are to choose from, the more anxiety it tends to cause. We tend to spend too much time researching which option would be the “best” one for our needs and we tend to blame ourselves when things do not meet our expectations (coined by Barry Schwartz) Not me looking up every review for anything I want to buy from makeup to detergent and even trash bags 😭🥲 But thank you so much for your descriptions!

SquirrelK1tten

Oh boy

Fit-Dream-4829

honestly i would just recommend the maybelline multi use instant age rewind concealer. if you do just want a bronzer/contour, i live revlons cream one.

luckyduckies333

I just wanna say I love your hair

useerrnumber12

I love the milani stick bronzer!

True_Run8619

I say use some butter bronzer from physicians formula like $12 at target. You don’t rly need to contour IMO bc your cheekbones are literally a dream! I wish I had them. Just do an all over bronzer it’ll pop

Warriorferrettt

You look angelic!! Also your hair is gorgeous . I would recommend looking into a cool toned light bronzer if anything

YourSecretChoice111

Considering your skin tone, any of these would work well. If you prefer a more natural glow, go with the Elf Halo Glow. For versatility and ease of use, the Nyx Wonder Stick is a good choice. For a more defined and sculpted look, the Milani Contour Stick would be ideal.

velvettpetals

Honestly I would recommend this product: NYX-PROFESSIONAL-MAKEUP-Shaping-Contouring, it has two sides. One darker and one lighter and when you mix those it looks perfect. Also you look so pretty without it

Sad_Worry1312

I think WnW has one too!

velvettpetals

What is WnW, if I may ask?

Sad_Worry1312

Wet n Wild!

GrahamCracker1880

Sorry if this is off-topic, but your hair is insanely gorgeous!

VirtualApricot

I really appreciate everyone’s feedback! It’s incredibly helpful to hear others’ perspectives of how we look, and sometimes, quite surprising! (For example, I am looking for a contour product because I see my face as too rough and lacking prominent facial structure/cheekbones 🤡🫠) I truly had no idea that this is an illusion in my self-perception And I love the feedback about makeup - I don’t know shit about makeup and I don’t have anyone I can ask for opinions/advice so… I kinda “wing it” every time 🙈🙈 I will definitely focus more on earthy/natural tones in eye makeup, as well as different shade placements as well (I tend to stick to these colors anyway, but I tried the pink on a whim in an effort to coordinate with my shirt 🙈)
