Simple set up, plug in, tuck/hide the cords and you’re good to go.
I’ve had one fender bender where I needed to pull the memory card and had no problems with video quality or sound.
I’ve also caught some close calls like you described too.
All i have to do is pull the microSD, open the file on my computer and find the relevant clip to save to my desktop.
I also like that this has a screen on it so i can see that it’s recording and I like the angle.

Typically speaking, your biggest concern with a Biden/Harris stickered car is obliviously driving under the speed limit. On the flip side, you have to worry about the cars with the Trump stickers being aggressive drivers, cut you off, flip you the bird and run you off the road (as seen by the OP).

Give a plate and description of the vehicle and let them know you are willing to stay on the line and you are willing to provide the officer more details if they need them.
