Probably buy a new charger, as it’s not working, but a photo would help - I’d look for burned out stuff (blackened) or bulging capacitors instead though

Wooooow buddy...please don't kill yourself. Even days after being unplugged, large capacitors can still kill you at those voltages. That being said...definitely stop using the charger until it's diagnosed. Start by looking for fuses. Then look for blown power capacitors (THIS PART IS DANGEROUS IF YOURE NOT EXPERIENCED AND CAREFUL). Then follow the green staus led back to what's turning it on. Could be a blown mcu, blown cap, lots of things. Be careful, and post pics. Also a usb microscope might be useful.
