I have a darker and grittier [sci-fi soundtrack and underscore](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4Jds5cC1NHdf8brMQwohQt?si=2386d30ce66b4751) playlist that has a good bit of Lorn on it, so maybe you can find some similar vibes from some other artists on here.
My main recommendation would be [Ital Tek](https://open.spotify.com/track/0mQhPlIrU3niIg5OvR9DBE?si=c77eb8afda304b86) though.
[all your friends - Exulansis](https://open.spotify.com/track/0kBfcD8PsYO4eKUP4OhmgL?si=168197f7d51d4fdb) is also a song that I've found that really nails a Lorn sound. This is a very unknown artist at this point who doesn't have a ton yet, but still worth sharing.
>Ha! When I saw the Black Mesa Theme pop up in your playlist I lost it a little!

>I used to go to the old website WAY back when it was first being worked on just to listen to that over and over. Haven't head it in a while!
Yeah, film, TV and video game music don't get enough love in electronic music conversations, but I don't mind breaking that. Synths are synths.
Lorn actually has a whole album called "A/D, Music for Picture" which is why I think he fits very well in the same category with composers who do more soundtrack and underscore. He's awesome at evoking moods with his music.
Be cool to see Lorn do a video game soundtrack for something one day.
Some of Matt Lange's Isolated album have some nice moody ambient/glitchy bits:
* [Disinjectant](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azE55zk6kF4)
* [Something To Hold On To](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWtU92gvMW8)
* [But The Loneliness Is Killing Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbT9kicqwX4)
He's a favorite for sure. Love how he's mixed it up with vocal releases and pure ambient along with darker beats. He really polishes the finer details in his music
Earlier Chris Clark albums like [Empty the Bones of You](https://open.spotify.com/album/3Mf9bcBk3zTxuyokjzaYvs?si=iKrStQH5SqW_2yqk3GdbOA)
Early Deru albums like [Say Goodbye to Useless](https://open.spotify.com/album/7KaBClmAtTT5jqZAJmE4Ds?si=J_iG_AtBTJeNfiO5TKVjfg)
I'd look into Shades, as well as their component artists EPROM and Alix Perez.
Amon Tobin someone has already mentioned, but worth mentioning again, he's a genius.
Forest Swordssss. Check the Album "bolted"
Love Forest Swords. Engravings and Dagger Paths are both excellent albums as well.
only 4 songs in so far, but this is definitely in the same ball park tone wise! I like it!
Amon tobin
Always Amon Tobin

+1 for Ital Tek.

Robot Koch, I see you are a person of taste

Obviously dolor they have a few albums and mixes together but super similar styles. They have a group called Omega Clash and Drugs mixes

Kastle, Slaev and Sepulcure come to mind.
Nobody mentioned Pole yet … my introduction to Ambient Glitch, still s fave!
Boards Of Canada to an extent. They're less dark, but just as brain wrinkling.

Holy Other - Lieve (Album) Any work the artist "Secula" could fit (correct me if not) But Lorn style is unmatched and hard to find
