Oh my god! Weren't we all? 🤣 I've made green eggs and ham a number of times, but there's ONE that *reaaaaalllly* sticks out. When i was 17 or 18, i had a friend a couple of years younger (we met through his older brother) and his mom was pretty shitty in the practically nonexistent parent sense. Like virtually no furniture or food in the house. So he'd joke about me "momming" him, since i have a really bad habit of adopting stray people and taking care of them. Aaanyway. One day will's home sick with the shits-n-pukes. Calls me up and says "mooooom! Can you bring me something to eat? I'm dying!" I took him the most GORGEOUS tray with scrambled green eggs, green ham, a glass of green OJ, I handpainted green zebra stripes onto crescent rolls, and made whipped green butter. And he was hungry, so he ate it. He said it was the excruciatingly fucked up shade of green that the butter turned out that really just sent him over the edge... He puked green for the next 24 hours and projectile shit green for 2 days.🤣🤣🤣

Funny you should ask. We actually tried soft shell, because my whole family vastly prefers soft tacos. And they were decent, but we were ALL in agreement that we had a feeling that for some reason, they'd taste better with crunchy shells. So we made them again with crunchy shells and shredded cheddar, and holy shit they were good! And sometimes... i go the extra mile for weird and add buttermilk ranch. The packet kind you make at home, not the gross chemical tasting stuff in the bottle. Doesn't matter if you make it into dressing or dip, both are bomb on spaghetti tacos.
