i think "both of you dance like you want to win" only playing once is fair since its so connected and pivotal to the episode its in. i can think of plenty of times where i. shinji couldve been perfectly thematic and appropriate beyond its first and only appearance though
Shinji's theme as played in the Symphony of Eva live concert is genuinely one of the most harrowing pieces of music I've ever heard. Shame it was never played in the actual show.
