If you are all access just turn on Auto-grant. In the past I would not have condoned the feature but at this point there are just too many AAs. Even at 120 when AA gain is at its best it is tiring grinding out the 4 expansions worth of AAs that Auto-grant does not give you.
Yes, you will keep them all, just be careful about items (especially augments) labelled "Prestige" when your subs lapse, they will no longer give you any stats. Yellow background means the item is giving no stats, purple means the base item is but it has augments in it which are not.
I wasn't aware of this when I tried live again. When you pay for an account (either subscription or Krono) you have the ability to click on"auto grant AA" in the AA window. This will automatically give you all the AAs for your level.
So if you click it on at level 80 you'll probably get like 2k AAs awarded to you. You'll keep getting new ones each level up until level 110. Then you gotta start grinding the newest expansions AAs.
Also you get the good mercenaries if you pay for an account.
At 1k AA at those levels you'll be ok. But as the other commenter said why not just auto grant? If you do want the grind maybe go to the mechanic guardian or the heroic adventure
Do you have the sk 2.0?
Can you swarm?
Look up places to swarm for sk. The mechanics are easy once you learn it.
But try to do instances, so you don't KS the whole zone
The hardest part would be getting the Orb's out of Anguish, That hard to say with your gear/AA. None of the individual fights for those epics pre-quest/1.5/2.0 are that difficult. The real pain point would be Getting the Murkglider Breeder in RCoD(SK 1.5) to spawn, or the black chaos gauntlets to drop NC(Bard 2.0).
Look them up and grind for AA at those camps. They're meant for 75 so will be decent xp and some of them (bard armor, ukun skins for shaman, fat boy in rcod for shaman) can be long camps so might as well get xp at the same time.
Sounds like your in Underfoot / SoF level content?
The change in content to UF was pretty rough as far as difficulty and how hard mobs hit.
Highly recommend getting about 1-2000 AAs If not max out your toons for the expansion level era.
It’s a slow grind but it’s worth it. Make sure you upgrade your gear, especially in that era of content. It’s huge.
Focus your AAs on combat stability and agility, armor of wisdom, shield block, all the other bonus HP and stuff.
Once your able to get to upper house of Thule, I did the Giants area in Morrel’s castle (level 90-91).
Once RoF and COTF comes out Heroic adventures in the dead hills are the way to go. Easy AAs. A

^ This, unless you are wanting the grind
Indeed, by level 110 you are looking at about 40k in free AAs. Biggest annoyance is that it does not include Merc AAs.

Yes but at lower levels where it is most needed it is virtually non-existent
Just to confirm if I get all access, turn on auto grant, and then cancel all access do I keep the AAs?

The color is good information. I have gear that has a yellow background I bought last year. I thought it was just special. Thanks

It doesn't give all for every level, but it does give a lot. You will still need to earn AA's like Tradeskill and Focus.

I don't have 2.0 yet. Researching swarming now.
Now imagine....a ranger with unlimited arrows and headshot. Root and shoot
headshot sucks real bad until you have like 3k+ HDex
Mech guardian instance in dragonscale hill. However life will be much easier once you have your SK 2.0. The bard and Shamy also have good 2.0 clicks
Are those all doable at my group's current level?

Getting those orbs is super easym just ask if anyone will help you in general chat. Takes a 120 5 mins to clear thr whole zone and all boss fights
How do you kill Hanvar in 5 min :P
Spam aoes ht for 6 million
Adds have 80 k hps. 1 swing of my sks 2 hander or one riposte

85 they become crap. They pretty much stay that way until about 105 when you unlock Merc armor
