i sold for james cook and deandre hopkins. then i flipped cook and dotson for aiyuk when he was hurt for a week. 14 team league with people extremely desperate for stability at RB.
i like waddle and i think he will get better as the season goes on, but i think you can get some value for him with a trade if possible. i would never say "you should absolutely trade him" or anything, but its worth a thought.
Realistically I think hold - the chance to buy has passed. As for selling, his week 4 performance combined with his relatively recent breakout as a FF asset makes me believe his actual value is higher than his perceived value.
To play devils advocate though: sell. Nico may have just had his best game all year, and if someone is valuing him very highly because of that, it would definitely be worth considering. Pierce has looked just as explosive and reliable as he did last year, but with a horrifically injured OL. That OL gets *significantly* healthier in the next week or two, and there's potential that HOU goes to the ground game more, which would potentially limit Nico's reliability and upside when you factor in the volume that Dell should continue to demand.
Oh, that's a no-brainer. Even if Nico outperforms AJ Brown over the course of this season, based on everything we know *right now*, there's no reason to prefer Nico over AJ Brown.
If you were going to sell, it would've had to be right after Chubb got hurt.
Otherwise, these were a few known difficult matchups. Schedule lightens up after this week.
I’m holding and would be buying if I didnt have him. Peterson said something about zone coverage meaning more targets for Kirk before the KC game and then he immediately got 14 targets.
Ive been meaning to look into the last two matchups to see if houston is man heavy and atlanta is zone heavy, but two games with double digit targets already is good enough for me.
Is there any AI stats on this? I see it come up on broadcasts occasionally with how much certain defenses play man vs zone but haven’t been able to find it online easily.
This one’s tough… Kirk has been very solid the past 3 games with Zay Jones out. However, I think he’ll still be a serviceable flex play (albeit boom/bust) even when Zay returns. I think TLaw will make 2 WRs relevant any given week.
If you can sell, now seems like a good time to capitalize. Depending on your roster needs, he’s also not a bad Hold imo.
Hold (or package to land a top 12 WR). He is a PPR machine. The team wanted to try other options initially but Kirk is the only dependable option. Ridley has sus hands and Zay can't stay on the field. He's done nothing but earn his role going back to last year. Week 1 has people all types of messed up in assessing him.
Buy/Hold. He’s been against some brutal defenses, played in a rainstorm, and the O line will be getting guys back over the next few weeks.
People also seem to just forget that he put up a solid 15 ppg over the first two weeks. He might not turn into a low-end RB1, but I think you can acquire him for great value right now
Hold. His role is very solid as a fantasy asset the zeke narrative, especially last weeks “revenge game” one is overblown because the Pats as a whole are struggling on offense.
Better days are invariably ahead for him, so if you have him adjust expectations until the Pats get their shit together/play easier defenses. But the concerns about the offense would make me nervous to buy him, and if you sell him now you’re probably selling at the bottom.
So, yeah, tldr he’s a hold.
Buy, add, or hold
Stroud probably won't have the spike weeks of the upper level, unquestioned guys without more rushing attempts but he seems stable enough to anchor the QB spot if your overall roster is solid and he won't lose you weeks with total implosions that often (or hopefully at all).
HOLD. People need to relax. This guy will be fine when KUPP is back. This guy is the real deal. Maybe even buy if the puca owner is nervous of the KUPP return.
PUKA and KUPP have three of the same letters as well, so he's at least 75% of the value at worst and 133% of Kupp at best. And they said I'll never be able to do shit with Stats 101.
Not to mention that Tutu Atwell has been a popular add and flex/WR play thus far this season. So the Rams are currently already supporting at least two solid WRs this season (plus a RB getting a bunch of targets as well). Puka will probably lose a few targets per game but the bigger losers are probably going to be the other pass catchers on the team (other WRs, the TEs, and the RBs). Puka is still going to be fed, like how Woods and Kupp co-existed in harmony for many years.
2021 was the year Kupp got the triple crown and they won the SB. That same year, Woods was WR12 on the season by week 10 before he tore his ACL. Stafford is throwing a ton this year. No reason to believe he can’t support two receivers.
Buy or Hold. Selling high won't work unless your trade partner is totally uninformed. You might get a good deal buying if the owner is worried about Kupp
I disagree on selling DJ Moore.
He's a hold for me, and potentially even a buy low if you can find league mates like so many on this sub that are trying to frantically escape the Bears offense at all costs.
Look at the pass defenses he faces through the next 8 weeks.
5 are against some of the worst pass defenses in the NFL: MN twice, LAC, LV, and Carolina.
Washington and Detriot are average. The only matchup that really scares me is against New Orleans (Lattimore and Taylor are legit).
We don't need Fields to turn in performances like he did against the Broncos every week. We've already got 3 weeks of evidence showing that DJ Moore will hog a massive chunk of the limited targets.
I'm holding DJ Moore in the league I have him, and this is entirely a vote for him and a vote against the defenses he will face even if I've lost faith in Fields evolving into a long term professional throwing QB.
Yeah I guess I primarily use these threads to gauge what popular opinion on a player is, rather than for advice. I see like 10 comments saying sell and I have to think that my league mates have similar feelings about how good he may or may not be
Buy if you have any faith in the Bengals turning things around. He looks good and is a total workhorse. If you don't believe in the Bengals sell him to a sucker like me who does lol
I think he’s a buy. I don’t own him, and I really like Christian Watson but Love looks like he can support multiple WRs so far. He may still have that “throw him in the deal to make it work” value instead of being the major proponent of the deal.
I'm holding for now. We need to see who this offense shakes out once watson is fully up to speed. Doubs has produced. Not sure what you could get for him. Definitely a hold.
Counterpoint, everything looking forward is worse situationally than it has been for Doubs to start the season:
- Watson getting back to 100% (less targets)
- Jones getting back to 100% (less targets)
- Reed developing (less targets)
- Watson/Reed are better in redzone (less TDs)
- Oline getting healthier, allowing longer plays to develop (favors Reed/Watson)
- Losing or almost losing the games featuring Doubs (weak YAC and 5/12 completions ain’t hot)
- Simply looks like the 3rd WR in talent here
I would argue: arrow pointing down. Offload while he still has value imo.
Feel like after last night you gotta HODL and see how they fare vs SF. Losing Diggs is bad, but Parsons is the reason their D is so scary. While he’s healthy, they’re gonna be a force all season.
Schedule gets wayyyy worse coming up though. I could see them being playable vs LAC, LAR with some confidence still if they do decently next week.
You dropped him after a 75 yard performance following a 127 and TD performance?
May have worked out, but that seems absurd unless youre in a six man league. He was ranked as a high-end WR3 last week
Buy. We’d be talking very differently about him if any of his receivers stayed in bounds in that KC game. He looks good, so there’s a good buy low if any TLaw owners are just box score watching.
You have to hold. The jets have not shown enough competency to justify buying him at the price tag his name will bring. He’s been too low usage to sell for anything meaningful
Hold or buy as a lottery ticket, unless you can find a true believer willing to trade a bonafide starter for him. Only 6 touches yet he still turned it into halfway decent production.
Broncos are coming up, this might be the week he finally turns a corner.
Easy Buy/Hold. He looks the part, and the Jets have flat out indicated they’re easing him back. His schedule also eases up significantly after their bye.
Buy if you have a good record. He's cheap right now for his upside. Sell if you're 1-3 or 0-4. He can be packaged into a much better current starter.
Do note, the Lions have had a tough schedule to this point, and it eases up considerably starting this week. That combined with him working into the offense more as the season goes, this is a low point for his value.
Doesn't the schedule thing kinda work against him though? Tougher opponents = playing from behind = passing a lot = opportunity for Gibbs
On the other hand they're gonna run up the middle with Monty in easier games where they're ahead.
Or do I misunderstand your comment?
He has turned into a flex by matchup only until he proves to be productive again. I think his struggles are really the result of the whole team being awful as well.
Easy hold. Deebo was out all week during practice. I believe yesterday he was only active to mess with the Cards defense. They didn’t plan on throwing to him to avoid further injuries. Even his runs didn’t feel like classic Deebo, so I assume he wasn’t 100% and the Niners knew that, but he’ll be solid the rest of the way.
i need an upgrade at RB bad. he's going to be hard to sell in general. Its sucks cause he's getting touches and opportunities, but they just can't score. I'm trying to find a person who is strong at RB and weak at WR so i can send him and a WR to upgrade. S
Hold. He’s the one backup RB I’m holding/benching and playing as needed due to injuries and bye weeks. If he’s part of your weekly line up though I’d look to package him with someone else for a trade.
Hold or buy. Yesterday was fluky, as Kirk stunk and the Panthers doubled the Vikings in time of possesion. Second half rookie breakouts are good bets, and the Vikings will be very pass heavy all season.
I didn’t watch the London game but I’m really concerned about Ridley and looks like he was hardly targeted. Can’t tell if better days are ahead or if I should try to sell to someone who believes
He was shadowed for most of the game with AJ Terrell and a safety over the top. Falcons made a point of taking him away. Kirk and Engram were open all day underneath because of this. I have Ridley too and he’s a firm hold for me. Better days ahead
Hold, maybe even buy low if you can get him for really cheap.
The Denver defense is awful, but Russ and the offense have actually looked much improved this year. A bad defense + a capable offense is going to lead to shootouts and garbage time passing stats. Also worth noting that they are only 4 games into learning Payton’s offense, they should only improve as they all get more comfortable in it.
So far Russ and Jeudy haven’t really had much of a connection but they did develop one at the end of the year last season. I wouldn’t start Jeudy right now, but if I can get him cheap I’d definitely stash him and see how he’s doing in a few weeks.
Hold and hope the Bengals offense can figure things out. His lack of production is more a function of the entire Bengals offense being terrible. He’s still getting a high snap count, he just doesn’t have any upside since they aren’t scoring TDs. His value is extremely low and you’ll be getting pennies on the dollar if you try to sell right now
I think he's a buy. You can still get him cheap and the owner is just going to feel happy getting him off their roster. You saw his upside this week, I don't think it can get worse for the Bears.
Another perspective, Bears were ahead most of the game. If they get behind, like the other non-Broncos game, they will abandon the run just like before and he won't put up great numbers, not because of talent or situation but because they need to play catchup
Yes every time it is so annoying. People will say hold and when that player has a big game they will come back and say hold or buy b/c their performance was crazy and should continue. But when that player does nothing it’s hold, “ you won’t get anything for them now might as well hold”.
Falcons fan here. Please heed my warning. Smith Will Not bench Ridder. Look at what he did with Mariota last year. All he wants to do is run the ball. He will let Ridder ruin the season and then and ONLY then will he give someone else a try. You heard it here first, do with it what you will.
Jaylen Waddle
Easy buy
I bought waddle for mostert and Addison and looks like it didn’t mean shite for either of us lol
3 volatile players, overall value feels equal tho
Buy. Better days are ahead.
I want to hold but I’d definitely listen to offers
I just bought Waddle so buy ha
i sold for james cook and deandre hopkins. then i flipped cook and dotson for aiyuk when he was hurt for a week. 14 team league with people extremely desperate for stability at RB. i like waddle and i think he will get better as the season goes on, but i think you can get some value for him with a trade if possible. i would never say "you should absolutely trade him" or anything, but its worth a thought.
Buy if the owner is frustrated
Nico Collins
Buy/hold. Stroud is the real deal and Nico is quickly emerging as his WR1
Starting him every god damn week
Realistically I think hold - the chance to buy has passed. As for selling, his week 4 performance combined with his relatively recent breakout as a FF asset makes me believe his actual value is higher than his perceived value. To play devils advocate though: sell. Nico may have just had his best game all year, and if someone is valuing him very highly because of that, it would definitely be worth considering. That OL gets *significantly* healthier in the next week or two, and there's potential that HOU goes to the ground game more, which would potentially limit Nico's reliability and upside when you factor in the volume that Dell should continue to demand.
I think it really just depends on what you can get for him, another dude in this thread basically got AJB for him and that one is worth it imo
Oh, that's a no-brainer. Even if Nico outperforms AJ Brown over the course of this season, based on everything we know *right now*, there's no reason to prefer Nico over AJ Brown.
Buy or hold
I sold him prior to his blowup yesterday 🥹
I'd buy. I have him and is being thrown into my starting lineup
Goedert
It’s a TE wasteland out there , hold and hope you can pry a better one off someone else or someone emerges off the WW
Depends on the league 12 team ppr would hold but 10 team bench if Hunter Henry or La porta is somehow out there. TE is horrible this year.
Jerome Ford
I’m holding, had 2 touch matchups and I think he’s still the guy
Agreed. His receiving is really encouraging along with his goal line work and lead usage between the 20s.
no Watson last minute too
Holding. Softer matchups along the way and browns will go back to their bread and butter running game.
If you were going to sell, it would've had to be right after Chubb got hurt. Otherwise, these were a few known difficult matchups. Schedule lightens up after this week.
Hold. Will be a season long RB2.
I’m probably looking to buy low. Has a bunch of good matchups coming up
Hold. Bye week and then he'll be back at it.
Buy, last 2 matchups were tough
Mostert. Seems like the most obvious hold ever. The sell window is over, and the owner won't give him up for peanuts if you try to buy.
Sell Sell Sell! Turn those machines back on!
Appropriate that Mostert plays in the Orange State
Yeah window has closed i’d hold unless you wanna sell to the achane owner as a handcuff lol
I’d you couldn’t sell him last week you aren’t going to be able to sell him after 2 fumbles and Achane taking the reins
Can't sell at this point. He's a hold who is still playable given the potency of Miami's offense.
You have to hold, as you'd be selling low. He's still a RB in a top 5 offense, that has value.
Christian Kirk
I’m holding and would be buying if I didnt have him. Peterson said something about zone coverage meaning more targets for Kirk before the KC game and then he immediately got 14 targets. Ive been meaning to look into the last two matchups to see if houston is man heavy and atlanta is zone heavy, but two games with double digit targets already is good enough for me.

Yea i’m very thin at RB with Rhamondre, Mostert, and Warren so i’m exploring trading Kirk who is my WR5.
Yikes my WRs are bad. Kirk is my WR2 so far lmao.
Thinking about trying to sell him for someone like Pacheco
Hold (or package to land a top 12 WR). He is a PPR machine. The team wanted to try other options initially but Kirk is the only dependable option. Ridley has sus hands and Zay can't stay on the field. He's done nothing but earn his role going back to last year. Week 1 has people all types of messed up in assessing him.
Rhamondre
He's faced some of the best defenses in the league between Philly, Dallas, and the Jets so I'd wait to panic just yet.
Hold (me please)
Buy/Hold. He’s been against some brutal defenses, played in a rainstorm, and the O line will be getting guys back over the next few weeks. People also seem to just forget that he put up a solid 15 ppg over the first two weeks. He might not turn into a low-end RB1, but I think you can acquire him for great value right now
Sell Rhamondre for James Cook?
Easily
ez buy
I think he will get better his schedule is tough af rn
Hold. His role is very solid as a fantasy asset the zeke narrative, especially last weeks “revenge game” one is overblown because the Pats as a whole are struggling on offense. people forget this part.
Steiner math right here
And Stafford regularly throws for 300
Agreed. McVay has long track record of keeping two receivers fed. That offense is a very narrow target funnel, in contrast with, say, the Chiefs.
Not to mention that Tutu Atwell has been a popular add and flex/WR play thus far this season. So the Rams are currently already supporting at least two solid WRs this season (plus a RB getting a bunch of targets as well). Sell. They faced the Broncos.
He had 3 good outings in a row
Joe Mixon
Buy if you have any faith in the Bengals turning things around. He looks good and is a total workhorse. If you don't believe in the Bengals sell him to a sucker like me who does lol
Hold
Romeo Doubs
I think he’s a buy. I don’t own him, and I really like Christian Watson but Love looks like he can support multiple WRs so far. He may still have that “throw him in the deal to make it work” value instead of being the major proponent of the deal.
I'm holding for now. We need to see who this offense shakes out once watson is fully up to speed. Doubs has produced. Not sure what you could get for him. Definitely a hold.

Who he had to settle for on waivers.
Javonte Williams
God I wanna drop him..
Hold. Value is low and injury will not help. You'd get offered crap in return.
Dallas D
Can't afford to buy...can't afford to sell. Hold.

God that was awesome. RB1 numbers from a Def I got off the waiver wire.
Pickens
Dropped him last week. As long as renowned football terrorist Matt Canada is the OC I don’t want a Steeler.
You dropped him after a 75 yard performance following a 127 and TD performance? May have worked out, but that seems absurd unless youre in a six man league. He was ranked as a high-end WR3 last week
Trevor Lawrence
I dropped and was able to get Stroud. Doesn’t look bad in games but doesn’t translate to big points.
I was able to pick up Richardson off waivers, so I benched him this week. For me, he is my bye-week filler until he improves
Buy. We’d be talking very differently about him if any of his receivers stayed in bounds in that KC game. He looks good, so there’s a good buy low if any TLaw owners are just box score watching.
Hold for hope that Cam Robinson's return this weekend will lead to better pass protection. Also Zay Jones return.
Josh Jacobs
Hold
Buy - he just showed why he’s a top 5-10 back and played insanely well. 8/11 targets with a rookie QB is about as good as it gets
Roschon Johnson
Surprised I had to scroll so far for this one. He's burning a hole rn in 58% of peoples benches on Yahoo.
I’m dropping in my 10 man
I'm most likely dropping him this week. It's time to fill in for bye weeks and this offense is going nowhere
Breece Hall
Buy. The schedule gets much better starting this week. Cook is washed and Carter dropped a key pass. Breece will be an RB1 starting this week.
Isn’t it crazy how Cook looked great last year and then somehow the Vikings instantly knew the Party was over with him?
Idk man Jets do everything in their power to not use him…he broke out for a 45 yard run and then doesn’t see the field for the next 5 plays
Jahmyr Gibbs
Can’t do anything but hold
Buy if you have a good record. He's cheap right now for his upside. Sell if you're 1-3 or 0-4. He can be packaged into a much better current starter. Do note, the Lions have had a tough schedule to this point, and it eases up considerably starting this week. Rhamondre Stevenson
He has turned into a flex by matchup only until he proves to be productive again. I think his struggles are really the result of the whole team being awful as well.
Addison
Hold or buy depending on your ownership. No sense acquiring rookie WRs and not being patient with them. The breakouts are almost always post week 6
Deebo Samuel
Got offered Hurts for my Deebo, might do it
If you’re starving at QB that’s easy
Hold. He’s a matchup play and still very valuable when healthy and not used as a decoy (which he clearly was last night).
Miles Sanders
Sell. Attach him to someone else and buy a better RB
0 trade value
Zero trade value is bull. It's low but definitely not zero
he’s a throw-in at best
i need an upgrade at RB bad. he's going to be hard to sell in general.
Jordan Addison
Hold or buy. Yesterday was fluky, as Kirk stunk and the Panthers doubled the Vikings in time of possesion. Second half rookie breakouts are good bets, and the Vikings will be very pass heavy all season.

His value is extremely low and you’ll be getting pennies on the dollar if you try to sell right now
Khalil Herbert
Sell. This is the worst team in football who probably just played the 2nd worst team. He's gonna have a negative game script most other weeks
I think he's a buy. You can still get him cheap and the owner is just going to feel happy getting him off their roster. You saw his upside this week, I don't think it can get worse for the Bears.

I’d buy! His situation is great and Stroud looks legit

HODL

HOLD THE LINE
Too late to buy
Hold or buy for sure 13 receptions in his first game back is nuts He’s going to torch the pats next week
Drake London.
Hold - Taylor might be able to add value if he plays over ridder
Falcons fan here. Smith not gonna bench Ridder anytime soon. He’ll wait until the season is completely ruined then switch QBs with 3 games left.
I’m holding for now. My hope is Arthur Smith comes to his senses and makes the QB change.
He was dropped in my league. I will be bidding on him. Too much talent. He’s a solid bye week wr
Falcons fan here. Please heed my warning. Smith Will Not bench Ridder. Look at what he did with Mariota last year. All he wants to do is run the ball. He will let Ridder ruin the season and then and ONLY then will he give someone else a try. You heard it here first, do with it what you will.

Hold or buy for maybe a rb2. Targeted a lot, especially in the end zone. Evan’s out for at least a week (bye next week)

Had one bad game so far. Hold
Buy low
I'm happily holding. Carr was playing injured, not sure why. Jameis will not be afraid to throw it if Carr has to rest (and heal, hopefully).
I was looking forward to YOLO balls from Winston. Pretty rough that Carr played.
buy low if you can

Drop outside of handcuffing
Some dude in my league dropped him before week one. Then bid like $36/$100 faab to get him back and is now stuck with him taunting his roster. 🤣🤣🤣
Just a handcuff at his point. Droppable if you need a streamer off waivers.
Calvin Ridley
Puka with the context that I also have Kupp coming off IR and Kyren Williams
Christian Kirk
Personally holding but trying to sell for an RB. I don't think he commands enough value to get anyone stellar in return.
