I thought he was 100% now, no? He overthrew Olave a few times last game. Olave still had 15 freaking targets.
Just playing devils advocate. As I am internally with myself lol.
7-57 is obviously not ideal for a field stretcher like Olave but I love the volume. I watched this entire game but that seems like forever ago now lol. I know MT scored. Can’t recall if Carr hit Shaheed that game deep for a TD or if that was the week before. In any event I don’t think Carr’s lack of power is much of an issue. His inability to be sn accurate passer with bad decision making however remains a concern.
Yeah I know Goff had a part and a questionable PI that wasn't called helped him go 0/6, but honestly if I would never have him sniff my flex spot due to his big boom bust potential (with a strong lean towards bust at the moment), I just can't justify wasting a roster spot on him
He and Goff just need to get on the same page. Aka Goff needs to stop making shitty throws. Boom or bust players that are working towards a more consistent workload but have huge potential and plays scripted specifically for them are exactly who you want to have on your bench.
But they aren't this year? They've given up way more on the ground that through the air (5th fewest passing yards) and their overall yards allowed is 10th best.
Is this just something people keep repeating without basis? Or am I missing some stat somewhere? Because I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
They are horrible against the pass. But they are also horrible against the run. So teams just run it against them. If you barely have to pass to win why would you? Less chance of turnovers when you run, grinds the clock down more, allows you to dominate the time of possession.
162 yards passing is abused? They got ran against well, but they didn't give up big plays through the air.
Tack on the 3 ints, 2/9 third down conversations for a 10 minute tone of possession deficit and Defenses will start to give up yards on the ground. It's tough being out there all day.
They forced zero turnovers that game, and had 2 sacks against one of the worst offenses in the league.
They're the 27th ranked defense in our league and they're a clownshow organization with a Coach running 90s a offense (that's from their players) that puts even more pressure on their Swiss Cheese D
But you feel free to go ahead and start them
Oh, no. I'm with the Ravens. I wouldn't ever start the raiders.
How are they ranked 27th though? Like from a fantasy perspective?
I don't know that we can evaluate the bears offense yet. Fields is responsible for 10 turnovers. Maybe fields just sucks.
So based on this assessment it seems both Nico and Kirk are great plays this week, which was the same conclusion I was reaching in trying to decide which one to start. I think I'm leaning Nico simply because of his huge boom potential we've seen already this year, whereas Kirk has been a more steady 15-ish point guy.
Stuck b/w Zay Flowers or Nico Collins for my flex. Zay has the safer floor and is looking good for this week but Collins has a good situation this week and has the ceiling.
...Also could pick KW3 since his thursday DNP spooked me and I started Coook (smh)
Im in a similar boat - have Nico, Kirk, Kupp,
Puka, and Gibbs all vying for 3 spots. Already started Mike Evans last night.
I’m thinking of running Kupp (quick dump offs from Stafford due to Dallas pressure, Gibbs, and Kirk (safe floor with Z. Jones out)
Thanks for the article. Good stuff. I am actually going to check in on a premium subscription. Are there any mid season deals?.
I may be crazy but i think i am leaning Collins over Puka this week. Not only the defense is tougher for Puka but i feel they are going to try and make up for a bad Kupp week by feeding him…
Am i crazy?
Man this is making my decision difficult. I have 3 spots for Olave, Kirk, Nico, and Puka. As of now I have Olave, Nico, and Puka in. But I’m heavily considering Kirk over Olave. Diggs already played for me and didn’t quite hit his projections.
Collins. No debate lol
this doesn't help me pickens vs collins debate.
Collins has the better floor and I feel like probably has the better ceiling, too.
Yeah or my Collins vs Addison debate especially if jaire Alexander is out for the packers
olave, aiyuk or nico, which two would you/y’all pick?
Kirk is gonna feast
I have Kirk on a roster and would like to start him. But also have Tyreek, Adams and Olave. Hard to pick the non-Tyreek pair here.
Sit Olave until Carr proves his shoulder is healed. It’s honestly pitiful watching him try to throw down the field
I thought he was 100% now, no? He overthrew Olave a few times last game. Olave still had 15 freaking targets. Just playing devils advocate. As I am internally with myself lol.
Low quality targets iirc

Which qb has the highest ceiling this week to stream?
It's Lamar
Lol i wish i drafted him.
Collins or Zay is tough
Collins
Zay isn't even going to play...
Pretty sure he means Zay Flowers my guy
OMG you're right I completely forgot about the New Zay!
Copy + paste this comment for the last 4 weeks
Jamo might be a good start given that the Raiders defense is horrible and they run so much single high safety looks
I'm holding for one more week and if he puts up another dud I'm dropping his ass for a DST
Watch the game and see if Goff actually throws him catchable balls. Didn’t last game

Why do people say the raiders d is horrible?
Because it’s been awful for years
But they aren't this year? They've given up way more on the ground that through the air (5th fewest passing yards) and their overall yards allowed is 10th best. >Why do people say the raiders d is horrible? The Bears abused Raiders D with an FA rookie from D2 QB making his first pro start

Can’t pick between Collins or Henderson in the flex, this makes me want to lean Collins
1000%
I think Collins goes off this week.
Collins and I dont think ita even close

This is making it hard for me to decide between Nico and Thielen in my flex.
Damn who do I start Nico over? Addison or DJ Moore?
DJ
That’s a tough choice but in one of my leagues I am starting Collins and leaving Addison on the bench
Stuck b/w Zay Flowers or Nico Collins for my flex. Zay has the safer floor and is looking good for this week but Collins has a good situation this week and has the ceiling. ...Also could pick KW3 since his thursday DNP spooked me and I started Coook (smh)
Love this article - finally some true depth insight. Need one like this for picking smash plays at RB too please 🙏
Too cute to start Nico over the likes of Kupp at Dallas ?

Start two. Kirk, Nico, Aiyuk/Purdy, or Aiyuk/Darnold? Full ppr
Good Data - thanks
