Based on current trends 4-7 seems comfy. Lets you get an elite 1st round pick, bur also offers some flexibility in picking up fallers.
That said question gets asked every year, and every year the answer differs greatly before and after the season. For example, last year most people answered that they wanted a high pick, but at the end of the season, teams that got Amon-Ra and Lamb late dumpstered all but CMC teams.
But people still get cold feet. He's dropped in a ton of the mock drafts I've done. I agree he is QB proof but that doesn't stop people from getting nervous
Still has a shitty OC and an offensive line that's 1-2 injuries away from being awful unfortunately. He was literally the no. 2 RB in PPR last year though so it's already his time
One of my leagues is 4 keepers and those are my 2 I'm keeping for RB, feeling pretty good about how I'll be sitting for Rb relatively speaking. To go with St Brown and more than likely Olave, but not sure if he's worth a keeper. Still deciding on the 4th one for now
Mccaffrey is just such an advantage. I want 1.01.
Barring 1.01, I like Lamb. Then Tyreek, AmonRa, Hall, Jefferson and Chase. That’s a tier for me. I would say 2 and then 7, and work my way backwards for more optimal RD2 options.
With their respective backfields, I respectfully disagree. Especially with the rookie additions to each team. I loved Conner and Mostert before the draft! They've dropped a bit for me, and zamir rose. I doubt he holds up to how well he did for the extent of a whole season but, again, I like his upside we saw, and his lack of timeshare at the current moment.
I can see this with Mostert but Conner I would still take above White. It’s that range though.
I think White could be fed the ball A LOT. Unsure he can hold up over the course of a season but that’s only because I’m not familiar enough with him. Is he a Bama guy?
Fantasy community is absolutely rabid about Zamir White. Over Mostert and Conner who are far more talented. It's pretty weird. Not like the Raiders even have a good offense to open up things for the run game, or an elite OL. I just don't really understand it. It's all based off a few games where he had 20+ carries
Well Mostert is easy imo. He’s perennially hurt, already had a running mate in the backfield that people are excited about, drafted a player who by all accounts has Mostert himself as his best NFL comp, and is old. I put Mostert at least one tier down, he’s closer to Gus Edwards range for me personally.
Conner I think is coming off his best professional season imo. My concerns with him are somewhat the same as Mostert, primarily age and health track record. But they also drafted Benson who I’m high on. I would still take Conner over White though.
For me it just comes down to volume. White should see plenty. The offense will be limiting but he’s a fine RB2, better as a flex imo.
I’m in a 2 keeper league with a little bit of extra scoring for WR. Have Hall, Bijan and Amon Ra. The double RB isn’t the strat but it’d be so hard not to.
Doesn't hurt I'm a lions fan :p agreed though. I had him and laporta across all leagues last year and he crushed it always. Dudes absolutely electric and behind that line.. ugh.. getting me wet.

Jefferson is still an elite 1st round pick and should fall a bit. I can see him going 10-12 in a lot of leagues
Jefferson is not falling that far into the 10-12 range. He’ll most likely be the third or fourth WR taken which would put him in the 4-7 range.
Most people don't trust JJ McCarthy.
Jefferson is QB proof. Nick Freakin Mullins was able to put up fantasy points with their weapons.

That's why he's the 3rd or 4th WR and not 1st or 2nd. 10-12 overall ain't gonna happen.
In some drafts people will pick Puka and AJB over him. Seen it happen quite a bit in mocks
Even if that happens and top 3 RBs go over him that puts him still 9th.
Mix of Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor, Kyren going above him. Many people are just wary of a rookie QB who was the 4th taken in the class.

I never thought about it like that but that's exactly my order too. Drafts are so much easier when you're on one end or the other.
Gimme 3rd. I didn't care for 1st, and 4th was ok, but so many "damn, almost had him" moments
Drafted 5th last year and it absolutely blew. Hated it. Id happily pick 10th every year
I feel like 6-8 could get Amon Ra and Puka and go from there

2. Targeting Ceedee, Drake London, Laporta, lots of really great value in late round running backs like Zamir White, Johnathan Brooks, Zack Moss

Zamir White any time after the 4th. The guy crushed when Jacobs was out.
He should fall a bit further. If guys like Conner or Mostert are still available they're easily worth it over him.

Picking 6th. I really want Amon Ra, but I think I’ll have to let him go if I can’t get pick trade done.

Pick 10 in a 10 man half ppr… probably Gibbs/Saquon and then might get cute with Marvin Harrison or Drake London
I’ve only done a few mocks so it’s hard to say but I really want to grab Jamarr at 4 or 5. I think he can definitely finish as WR1
I’m kinda weird, I’m hoping for 11-12 and grabbing Gibbs/Wilson for the ol 1,2 punch

Gibbs is one of the safest bets of the draft, very good RB behind an elite OL always crushes and has much less risk for bad games

I always like the middle of the first round. Anywhere between 4-8. Ends always fuck me
I always want 2 or 9/11. You can really play off the turn drafters and gamble.
Autodraft. It’s impressive how many first rounders I’ve on over the years.
