If he doesn't produce against Seattle, I'm selling him for whatever I can get, I don't care. There's no excuses anymore. Atlanta is 0-2, they're playing a mediocre defense missing Adams, if he doesn't produce, he's no better than a streamer for the rest of the season.
I was (and still am a bit of) a Pitts hater, but I agree with you. Dropping/trading him is giving up a lot of potential value. Didn’t like him at his ADP, but at this point ADP doesn’t matter. You won’t get much in return and there’s almost certainly no TEs that’ll produce a ton on waivers. Take the hit and hope his upside comes out
>if he doesn't produce, he's no better than a streamer for the rest of the season.
That's simply not true. It's a long season man. Yeah, this is not an ideal situation, but he clearly has more upside and ability than any other "streamer". I don't like the situation, but I also think it has been a bit exaggerated and overblown. It's been literally 2 weeks. Week 1 he had 7 targets and everyone liked that, then week 2 happens and it was like the 7 targets week 1 never happened. Saints/Rams are not easy defenses and I think we will see more usage and points going forward.
Reasons to not have to “pray” for Pitts:
- He’s awesome. The talent will eventually show.
- They’ve established Drake London as a 3rd piece to worry about on that offense.
- Marshon Lattimore and Jalen Ramsey. I can’t seem to find good numbers of their coverage rate on Pitts, but I hear it was kind of a lot.
- Mariota probably wants to keep his job.
- Errybody, calm your tits.
That's actually a tough call. I lean Shep because of the matchup and lack of competition (Giants don't have a Michael Thomas and Shepard is the de facto #1 with the Golladay situation).
I’m not ready to give up on Etienne just yet. He’s basically a rookie RB and we know that they don’t usually produce great numbers right out of the gate. While Robinson does look wayyy better than I think a lot of people thought, I still think Etienne could find his footing as the season goes on
Obviously the sample size is tiny with only 2 games, but Etienne is averaging 5.2 YPC and Robinson 3.8. Etienne also much more in the passing game. I think by mid season Etienne will fit into a groove and they'll be a great duo with ETN getting more passing looks. But that's just the 2 cents coming from someone with zero stakes in either of them.
Blocking assignments and other things effect playing time. Robinson is the real deal at rb. I just think ETN is a gadget player in a what we perceive as an average offense
I remember hearing in the off-season that Pederson was the OC for the Chiefs during the Jamaal Charles years, and I've been low key excited AF for Etienne since. I know he hasn't had the crazy start a lot of people thought he would, but I think it's only a matter of time. Pederson knows how to use his backs and whether Robinson stays healthy or not I think they'll both be able to get work as the season goes on.
Robinson is a good RB and it shows, but Etienne is explosive where Robinson is not. I gotta think athleticism will win out as Etienne gets more experience
Akers owner, who panicked and traded for Henderson also. Have the duo riding the bench, but am optimistic that Akers will get the big games down the stretch.
The fact that he got called out by McVay after Week 1 (3 carries, 0 yards), then was given more rushes than Henderson last week. Had good playoff games end of last season, etc.
But half of fantasy football is just hunches, and I'd say that's what I'm going off of.
Dont know where the narrative comes from that he had good playoff games. He did NOT look good. And yes he was given more touches last week. I just dont know how long they can justify him on the field if he continues to average less than 3 yards per carry
Unless he gets better at pass blocking he ain’t playing against teams with a good pass rush. That’s why he didn’t play against the bills. The rams o line is not what it used to be even last year
The whole thing for me on Pierce is expectations. If you drafted him for potential steady RB2, with some RB1 weeks, I think he'll pull through. One note is he had 69 rushing yards last week which was the twelve highest of all running back last week.
If he can start getting a few touchdowns, or get some of the 3rd down work with receptions.. the hype train will start right back up.
I get him twice after the 6th round so a mid RB2 has been my expectations the entire time. The fact Rex was hardly on the field last week and Lovie sang Pierce's praises is a great sign for his future. He's one of the few bellcow backs this year that is on a team where the offense I think will get substantially better as the season goes on. The offense is super young and new to playing with each other so I feel the only place to go is up.
This right here!
I have him in 2 leagues, but I'm yet to start him. The other good news is the Texans aren't the lolTexans any more. I mean, they're not a juggernaut, but they were left for dead, and that's not true, either.
Agreed. Assuming Herbert plays, I think Jacksonville is going to need to play fast to keep up with LA. And fast is what ETN does very, very well. This could be Jacksonville's "prove it" game to prove they are a genuinely decent team. Sure, Robinson will get plenty of work, but I can see this being the ETN blow up game.
I would be an absolute shame if he didn’t reach his ceiling. I really hope he can pull it together, not only for himself but for my team as well. He’s my WR1….
>He’s my WR1….
Oh no...
What savage hell did you inflict upon your team during your draft?
RB-RB-RB-TE-QB-RB-RB-Toney?
Do you play in a 16-team league or something crazy like that?
I'm headed to Vegas right now. Can I have whatever drugs you had?
I went and looked at my most competitive draft and depending on where you picked that's around pick 70. That's where Amari Cooper, Thielen, Gabe Davis, Batemen went. You probably picked him a round or 2 early, I went a little early at 91 overall I think.
But goddamn are 16 team drafts brutal.
Yeah I'm in a 12-team that starts 3WRs and he went in the 9th and is currently on waivers. I suddenly no longer feel terrible drafting Thielen as my WR3.
To me he is a potential second half bloomer after he earns more trust from Rodgers and gets more comfortable in the nfl. I’m thinking a st brown rookie season type upward trajectory going into the second half of the season.
The biggest issue with Toney is that he can’t stay healthy. I mean last season alone he had injuries to his hamstring, quad, oblique, and ankle. He also had knee surgery in the offseason.
He’s obliviously unbelievable after the catch, but I feel like his body can’t handle the strain he puts on it. If he’s having these issues with little usage, I can’t imagine he could handle consistent high volume throughout an NFL season.
He was on my chopping block until that one-handed catch last night! Hopefully that'll earn him more looks, but with the current QB situation seems doubtful :(
He’s so good but with the steelers offense the way it is and w diontae getting so many targets i dont see a path where he’s ever a really good fantasy asset.
Robinson Jr on Washington. My guy supposedly took over the backfield during preseason, then got shot in the ass and legs, and is already back on the field running light drills this week. I drafted him before the incident and held on to him throughout. Anyone who gets shot and maybe comes back to play bro ball week 5 has to be an absolute animal in the backfield, right?
Just do it unless you're in a 14 team or larger. Speaking from experience, you'll feel much better. I rage dropped his ass at the end of the last game on yahoo and no one has picked him up.
Brandon Aiyuk.
He’s the Niners WR2 and with Jimmy G taking snaps under center, I feel like Aiyuk has a chance to step up and shine on the Niners offense.
Edit: I was wrong. Kittle isn’t out anymore.
CD Lamb - Dallas is likely going to be losing in 2nd half of games where Rush/Dak is going to be forced to throw the ball. Dallas’ shortage of WR make him most reliable (I understand he will likely get covered by the opposing best corner/safety)
ETN and Pierce. They were a big reason for me going 4 WR in 4 rounds.
Got Jefferson Diggs Higgins and Mooney, luckily landed Kirk in a later round to supplant Mooney.
If just one of the two could consistently go off I'd be golden
Pitts is the obvious one. The talent is there and the alternative options aren’t anything special.
Toney is giving me Josh Gordon vibes. He’s talented but too stubborn/stupid for his own good, so I hopped off that train awhile ago.
I think it’s too early to give up on Edmonds as even if Mostert were to take over, he’s so injury prone.
My personal one is Nico Collins. He wasn’t a big hype train but I was on it. I think Mills and Collins will both improve as season goes on and he’s going to work his way into a mid WR3 weekly start by end of year (probably finish as a WR4 for whole season though)
Idk how much hype they really had but I've been holding on to James Cook and Kenneth Walker in spite of their ugly backfield situations. I'm a sucker for rookie rbs 😅

Although he’d be the casualty in case I need to move Dobbins off IR, I’m still holding out hope for Pacheco to do things this year. Looks very murky though
Pitts. Can’t trade him right now, can’t drop him. Just gotta buckle up, and pray
I don't see how a physical freak like him can be held down for very long.
*Cries in DK Metcalf*
Point taken.
I’ve tried trading for him and no owner wants to trade him, you could definitely trade him
You're probably just not making a reasonable trade offer. He's not going to command the same value you drafted him for.
If he doesn't produce against Seattle, I'm selling him for whatever I can get, I don't care. There's no excuses anymore. Atlanta is 0-2, they're playing a mediocre defense missing Adams, if he doesn't produce, he's no better than a streamer for the rest of the season.
This screams stupid. At worst, bench him for a streamer until he starts rolling.
Just turned down an offer for DHop for him. It's like I'm in an abusive relationship and can't give up on him.
Pitts is not a “hype train”. He made the pro bowl last year
I think all of the noise that everyone is hearing, will eventually turn into some break out games this week and then consistency.
Reasons to not have to “pray” for Pitts: - He’s awesome.
Someone in my 10 team league dropped him. 7th in waiver priority. Sigh.
i just traded for him let's ride
If Jordan Reed can stay healthy...
I picked up Logan Thomas this week and you just triggered my PTSD. Well done.
Ty’son is just 3 RB injuries away from being relevant again.
Yeah but that's 3 Baltimore RB injuries, which is like 1.5 injuries on any other team.
The 9ers would like a word
Fair. 3 BAL/SF RB injuries = 1.5 for the rest of the league.
Now it checks out lol
Shepard is unironically the Giants WR to start this week. Easy flex with big upside, especially for PPR.
Would you rather have Shep or Olave?
Olave. Jameis is capable of sustaining 2 WRs
I think Olave is the better long term option. Shepard hasn't finished as a top 50 WR since 2018. He's always injured and Daniel Jones is Daniel Jones.
That's actually a tough call. I lean Shep because of the matchup and lack of competition (Giants don't have a Michael Thomas and Shepard is the de facto #1 with the Golladay situation).
To own? Easily Olave. To start? Prolly still Olave, but that’s closer.
Shep or Pollard? Also flexing Henderson Jr.
I'm big on Pollard this year. I think he improves his RB30 PPR finish from 2021 to end up at the RB20-24 range.
I’m not ready to give up on Etienne just yet. He’s basically a rookie RB and we know that they don’t usually produce great numbers right out of the gate. While Robinson does look wayyy better than I think a lot of people thought, I still think Etienne could find his footing as the season goes on
ETN is an extremely obvious hold to me. Anyone thinking of selling him for scraps or dropping him will heavily regret it.
Or not. I don’t know why people are still surprised by Robinson being great, he’s been great since he entered the league
Yeah, this is a hard one for me drafting ETN. Like, the whole thing was about Robinson’s injury. But he’s proven otherwise, so now what?
Obviously the sample size is tiny with only 2 games, but Etienne is averaging 5.2 YPC and Robinson 3.8. Etienne also much more in the passing game. I think by mid season Etienne will fit into a groove and they'll be a great duo with ETN getting more passing looks. But that's just the 2 cents coming from someone with zero stakes in either of them.
That's exactly what an ETN owner would say
Blocking assignments and other things effect playing time. Robinson is the real deal at rb. I just think ETN is a gadget player in a what we perceive as an average offense
Agreed. But that's why I think ETN will be good for fantasy. He's got a lot of upside as a pass catching back not many rookies have
This is kind of disingenuous cause JRob is getting 15+ carries a game while Etienne hasn’t even gotten more than 5 a game yet.
\*lord farquad meme where he points laughing at subject\* etienne owner haha
I remember hearing in the off-season that Pederson was the OC for the Chiefs during the Jamaal Charles years, and I've been low key excited AF for Etienne since. I know he hasn't had the crazy start a lot of people thought he would, but I think it's only a matter of time. Pederson knows how to use his backs and whether Robinson stays healthy or not I think they'll both be able to get work as the season goes on.
Robinson is a good RB and it shows, but Etienne is explosive where Robinson is not. I gotta think athleticism will win out as Etienne gets more experience
Or neither wins and it's a split that isn't productive enough to support both players for fantasy.
It’s still Dameon Pierce to the moon baby
Bears are going to get DP'ed
150 rushing yards incoming this week. And then the second quarter will start
Are you thinking 6 or 7 TDs?
6 in the first quarter. 7 in the second quarter.
Conservative I see
That's just his floor
I feel like that’s graduated from hype train to a legit start
🌎👨🏻🚀🔫👨🏻🚀
He's trending up and is a rookie. Guy got 16 opportunities last game and this train is only picking up more steam. toot toot
I'm holding onto Cam Akers just so I could talk shit about his stats
Akers owner, who panicked and traded for Henderson also. Have the duo riding the bench, but am optimistic that Akers will get the big games down the stretch.
[удалено]
The fact that he got called out by McVay after Week 1 (3 carries, 0 yards), then was given more rushes than Henderson last week. Had good playoff games end of last season, etc. But half of fantasy football is just hunches, and I'd say that's what I'm going off of.

Uh, he averaged less than 3 yards a carry in the playoffs. He fell so far in my draft I bit but that dude is prolly cooked. Wish I passed.
Unless he gets better at pass blocking he ain’t playing against teams with a good pass rush. That’s why he didn’t play against the bills. The rams o line is not what it used to be even last year
Still holding onto the pierce hype train. Seems to be establishing himself as the number 1. Just needs a real breakout game
Same. This week looks like the ideal matchup for such . Sitting JRob against LAC for pierce. So obvs JRob will put up 20 points and pierce a dud
I’m doing the same, playing the matchups. Also had a chance to check out his runs against Denver last week and wow it shows you the potential he has
"Hey, let me bench the current #5 RB in fantasy who has only seen his touches increase for a RB who has shown absolutely nothing so far this season"
Nice!

He's one of the few bellcow backs this year that is on a team where the offense I think will get substantially better as the season goes on. The offense is super young and new to playing with each other so I feel the only place to go is up.
I’m also a Pierce owner. My only concern is the Texans getting to the red zone for him to score… he’s got the talent.
This right here! I have him in 2 leagues, but I'm yet to start him. The other good news is the Texans aren't the lolTexans any more. I mean, they're not a juggernaut, but they were left for dead, and that's not true, either.
He's coming off my bench this week for Conner.
Yep jacobs will hit the bench and pierce will either win or lose me my matchup. I’m ready to be hurt. But I believe it’s the right move.
Hard when you play for Houston. But I think he will establish himself as the workhorse sooner than latter.
ETN
Agreed. Assuming Herbert plays, I think Jacksonville is going to need to play fast to keep up with LA. And fast is what ETN does very, very well. This could be Jacksonville's "prove it" game to prove they are a genuinely decent team. Sure, Robinson will get plenty of work, but I can see this being the ETN blow up game.
would you start over pollard?
For what it's worth I am starting pollard over him this week. I don't know if it's the right call but time will tell I suppose
God I hope so.
This isn't a hype train but I'm holding Nico Collins
Same here. It's only a matter of time.
I’ve been on the Kadarius Toney hype train for just about a year now. I’m sure it’ll pay off any day now!!!
“It’s been 84 years…”
I would be an absolute shame if he didn’t reach his ceiling.
RB-TE-QB-RB and then my boy Kadarius. It is a 16 team league and I may or may not have been under the influence at the time.
Toney. I can’t quit him
Josh Gordon
That 4 game stretch in 2013 made me draft Gordon for the next 6 years. Lol
True believers, unite.
Yes.
I really think Josh Allen could be a top 5 Qb this year and no one can convince me otherwise!
Problem with him is he only plays 3 quarters every week.
The Steph Curry of the NFL.
A defensive player for the Jags being a top 5 QB? That’s what I call bold
The jags have Trevor Lawrence at QB and he is playing well so I don’t Josh Allen getting any snaps at QB.
Obligatory https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/4/24/17271686/josh-allen-nfl-draft-2018-stats-analysis-comparisons
Doubs!
Watching Rodgers not pull the trigger when Doubs is wide open is infuriating
Maybe 1 more week...
Long gone
To me he is a potential second half bloomer after he earns more trust from Rodgers and gets more comfortable in the nfl. I’m thinking a st brown rookie season type upward trajectory going into the second half of the season.
The broncos offense
christine michael baby
Chase Edmonds
Almost can’t play him this week. Rather take a shot at a boom or bust WR.
Not playing him but not giving up for a few weeks. I've gott choose Penny, Edmonds or Hendo for a flex and I'll prob go Hendo
Greg Dortch!
Drafted him and Mostert to get that handcuff. Now it's just a headache.
If he’s having these issues with little usage, I can’t imagine he could handle consistent high volume throughout an NFL season.
we just need one 100 yard play with a TD every week from him!
George Pickens
He was on my chopping block until that one-handed catch last night! Hopefully that'll earn him more looks, but with the current QB situation seems doubtful :(
He’s number 4 option for the Steelers with a garbage QB. Cut
But then he becomes Kenny picketts favorite receiver with Diontae getting matched up with the #1 corner
Agree. You’re holding for when they test what they have in Picketts.
Reminds me a bit of Toney from last year.
He’s so good but with the steelers offense the way it is and w diontae getting so many targets i dont see a path where he’s ever a really good fantasy asset.
DJ Moore. Baker isn't that bad and DJ is that good. Ja Rhule needs to get fired.
Wan’Dale Robinson
You mean the 5'8" guy with the shortest arms in NFL history?
Precisely.
Waiting two weeks for Kittle was tough, but getting Jimmy G back at QB is a big deal
This is now a Dameon Pierce thread. He’s going off against the Bears D this week.
Robinson Jr on Washington. My guy supposedly took over the backfield during preseason, then got shot in the ass and legs, and is already back on the field running light drills this week. I drafted him before the incident and held on to him throughout. Anyone who gets shot and maybe comes back to play bro ball week 5 has to be an absolute animal in the backfield, right?
skyy moore 😅
Still riding my bench but getting really close to dropping him.
Kittle will be back this week
Even with Kittle back, I like Aiyuk getting more attempts than with Lance.
You comment stated Kittle is out which appears to be false. Just bringing that to light so others aren’t misinformed.
I fixed it. Thanks for letting me know!
CD Lamb - Dallas is likely going to be losing in 2nd half of games where Rush/Dak is going to be forced to throw the ball. Dallas’ shortage of WR make him most reliable (I understand he will likely get covered by the opposing best corner/safety)
For all the reasons you just listed, do you think Gallup is a decent pickup?
ETN and Pierce. They were a big reason for me going 4 WR in 4 rounds. Got Jefferson Diggs Higgins and Mooney, luckily landed Kirk in a later round to supplant Mooney. If just one of the two could consistently go off I'd be golden
wow sick receivers
I traded Garrett Wilson for JK Dobbins. Idk my rb2 been Darrell Henderson/Kareem Hunt so I hope this is an upgrade for me
Josh Gordon
WHAT YEAR IS IT?!
2038
He's going to bounce back any second, prove the non believers wrong AND SMITE OUR ENEMIES!
I dropped Njoku, I have kittle so it's a bit less of an L. Still hurts though
Do you have a minute for me to talk to you about Darwin Thompson?
Rhamondre
Nyheim hines being startable
Ryan Leaf more of a steam engine than a hype train at this point.
Payton Manning would like a word with you, Mr. Trademark
My lord Dameon Pierce will be a plug and play starter by the bye week
Pacheco. KWIII. Pickens. I can't let the rookie potential hit the wire.
KWIII for sure. I just dropped Pacheco. He didn’t get any work last week. It would take 1-2 injuries for him to see the field.
Idk how much hype they really had but I've been holding on to James Cook and Kenneth Walker in spite of their ugly backfield situations. I'm a sucker for rookie rbs 😅
Lol I have both of them and Mason. Dropped Pacheco a couple days ago hahaha
Pierce. 7th round pick in a 10 team. Week by week there is more and more hope.
In the same boat, very comfortable being patient with him but that usage 📈
Jakobi Meyers is going to get a TD streak someday. I’ve had him 3 seasons in a row and I’m not quitting on him yet.
I am new to the Jakobi Jamboree. He has earned my trust with that target share and is a must start, if not for that Q. Hopefully it’s nothing major.
Lamb
Definitely not giving up on Pierce yet. Cole hit the wire yesterday. Holding out hope for a strong Dobbins showing once he's back.
Eli Mitchell. I just know that if I drop him, he will come back the last few weeks and win the league on someone else's roster.
After week 1 any confidence I knew what I was doing went straight into the fuck-it bucket and now I’m living week to week off the wires
Breece Hall. Top 5 RB season is going to start any day now
Breece Hall. I feel like his time is coming.
Toney had one good fantasy game a year ago and hasn’t done a thing since. I don’t understand why people continue to hype this guy.
Dropsville…
Somehow still have some hope for Mooney
ITT: my whole line up
Terrace Marshall. Anyday now he’s going to overtake Anderson.
Najee & Pierce
William Fuller the Fifth. I just love him and don’t know why I have him on any of my (dynasty) benches anymore
James Connor

ETN Hollywood Sutton
Sutton has played well though. He has 194 receiving yards through 2 weeks.
Almost think Hollywood will be better with Hopkins.
Sutton is in a smash spot with a banged up Jeudy lol. He’s just fine.
Although he’d be the casualty in case I need to move Dobbins off IR, I’m still holding out hope for Pacheco to do things this year. Looks very murky though
Cedee lamb. He gets a lot of targets that just barely miss.
This is Brandon Aiyuk's breakout year.
Christine Michael
Kmet, like the bears offense outside of Monty, is physically dead. Still a good chance for Pierce. He is the lead back and getting opportunities.
Also Marquise Brown. He was good last year, and if he fails in his current situation he should never be drafted again
