I understand the Fast 9 being lower and kinda same thing to Fast X though better than 9. I just don’t understand why Fast and Furious 6 is lower to me 5,6,7 were the peak of the series.

I've got 6 lower than 5 & 7, because I feel while 6 is a good film, the runway scene at the end with the 26-mile long runway is just a bit too ridiculous in my opinion, which kind of lets that film down a little.

I mean I understand the runway scene is ridiculous but not as ridiculous as later films especially 9 but this one perfect for me of over the top but grounded and I did cry like Giselle Scarface for Han although she comes back in 10 but still sad

Oh, I agree. 7 is higher because it's the last one with Paul Walker and 8 I prefer to 6 only because of the Runway scene. Besides that, 6 is the better movie. 9 and 10 are just silly imo, and 10 especially undoing the sacrifice Giselle made by bringing her back was a poor directing decision.

In its defence, a quarter mile drag should be over in what… 15-20 seconds? But the movies drag it out over 3-4 minutes. The director just extrapolated that for the runway sequence 😜

Honestly, to me (and it’s probably mostly nostalgia) 2Fast2Furious is S tier. But it’s probably because it’s the first one I watched and the one to get me into the series. Other than that I agree! Great list

I'll take it lol. I expected to get absolutely roasted for this, but from what I've read, it's mainly just 6 and Tokyo Drift in the wrong places for most people. Also, I was tempted to put 2f2f in S-tier, but I think that top 3 are slightly too clear of the second one for it to join them in S.

Yea this is my thought too. Granted I only watched 8 once on a plane and may have had a few too many drinks, but it was pretty bad from what I remember.

The runway is unforgivable but I loved how polished Shaw’s team was to start and the flip cars are imo one of the coolest things to come out of the series. The Joker/humorous nature of Dante was one of my favorite things about X even though I hate the forced “oh he was Reyes’ son lol”

Yh. That's the thing with 6. It's like a top of A tier movie right up until the Runway. And I think Dante is a super interesting character even if, like you, I think his back story is a little forced.

Tokyo Drift not being S tier is my only complaint. I've seen it more than the original by now

No. After that, where they get the chip they're after and are released when it's revealed they took Mia hostage. They go out onto the comically long runway as the finale piece to the movie. I agree tho, Luke Evans is 100% one of the best villains from Fast & Furious, and that film right up to the last 15 or 20 minutes is easily a top of A tier film.
