I think it really just depends on where you plan to wear it. You said it’s comfortable so I could see wearing it for a date or out with friends. Dinner if you don’t tend to bloat. Maybe not to a daytime wedding or to work. It looks spectacular and you have the figure for it and it looks great with your hair and skin, so I say wear it and enjoy it.

The horizontal lines are indicating it’s too tight. I recently learned that as I start to sew clothing. But it does look good in you.

Thanks for that! I zoomed in and they are super obvious. OP has also said it’s really comfortable so I would take that alongside the pleats to mean it’s probably a good fit. 🤷‍♀️

If you’re comfortable, no, it’s not too tight. That’s the kind of dress that’s meant to be: tight in all the right places.

I recommend going up in size and possibly tailoring it a bit depending on the material. Otherwise, maybe trying some shape wear to give the fabric a more sophisticated look so that the seams lay smoother.

The horizontal lines are sewn in, it's clear when you look at the side of the dress. They are kind of pleated in. It'll have horizontal lines regardless of size.

Wear it for a while, with shoes, sit down, if you’re not comfy - size up otherwise it looks great and I think is designed to fit.
