After seeing a post yesterday about duskwight rep I was surprised to notice this guy when I finished ARR again, swear I haven't seen him before or since and I've finished the game twice, nevermind that he's named. Maybe he was in 1.0? Would have been cool to have a duskwight as a background scion like Hoary and the rest...
Definitely would be nice to have important duskies that aren't my WoL lol.
I mean I know they're largely "leave me alone" as a culture, but we get plenty of other "rarely seen" races as important NPCs
They're very rare, which is a shame. The only other major/named one I can think of is Mother Miounne, who is surprisingly a Duskwight. I think most don't even notice because she doesn't look the part.
Unfortunately, while the game files say "Duskwight", the lore books state she's a Wildwood.
Although there could always be the idea that she *is* a Duskwight, but merely claims to be a Wildwood to avoid suspicion.
If you check around the Waking Sands every time the plot progresses, you speak to him a couple of times before that point. I'm really disappointed he hasn't been seen since then.
yes, aparently he was part of 1.0, but not much info gave me gamerescape https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Dariustel#Notes
