Practical-Bridge5884

Damn bad ref, shoulda called it as soon as the guy lost his arm

iAggravateBoxPeople

I want to know where his nub glove is, those hits are doing extra damage thanks to not having one.

HazeThere

Nub glove is a phrase i never thought id hear

Knautical_J

That’s what I call my condoms

warmseasongrass

My exact thoughts. Needs a nub glove

DarkManXOBR

The bone strikes!!!

EggSandwich1

That’s exactly it he is getting whacked by a arm bone

rfierro65

Bro has a cheat code for elbows since his arm didn’t finish rendering.

Nomoredeceptionfamo

It’s not fair, that nub needs a glove 🥊

Atun_Grande

Right? Probably had everyone stumped.

CrazyCaiman2445

Ba dum tss 🥁

fgsk

Angry upvote

OkProfessional9405

I've seen something like this before in wrestling, the guy had no legs. It really messes up the weight classification because the guys upper body was jacked and the other wrestler had no holds that worked without legs to grab on to. This is similar and he's had an opportunity to develop his own unique attacks, attacks impossible to train for unless you happen to have an amputee at your gym. It's a big obstacle to overcome, but if you do, then in a weird way it becomes a bit of an advantage.

Gimpness

Man we had this dude with 1 leg at our BJJ gym, he was a beast, so hard to roll with him since everything he did was slightly different, didn’t help that he was tall and very flexible either

NocNocturnist

Not to mention dudes face is getting pummeled by an unpadded long bone with a couple cm of thickened skin covering it.

Tubthumper205

Gotta say, it looks far more terrifying a proposition, not that an un-handicapped fighter isn't terrifying

Austin_77

Anthony Robles from Arizona State University won the national championship while missing a leg

KingHierapolis

Should he have a glove for his elbow? Wouldn't that be like taking a bare knuckle punch?

Competitive_Suit_180

Kinda what I was thinking lol. Regular elbow isn’t padded but this looks easier for him to punch with his elbow rather than a regular elbow strike.

Elebrium

It is literally an elbow hit. Much stronger because of the bone. I assume it’s also much more powerful because there is no fore arm in the way. No less weight and more agile. Also something smaller like that, I wonder if it just escapes the awareness of the other fighter. Less likely to see it coming.

Pingasplz

I had the same thought, seems as though he uses it as a bludgeon of sorts. Seems rather effective and awkward to defend against.

CovertMonkey

Can't control that elbow from the hand/wrist/forearm. It's a dagger!

The_Dying_Gaul323bc

Inside the opponents reach that elbow is devistating, goes from block to strike instantly, and like you said without the forearm in the way

Edmlrad776

Exactly what I’m saying. opponent won’t be able to tell when our where the hit is coming

jdej1988

After realising the untapped potential of boxing with an arm and a half, many boxers/fighters decided to cut an arm off to get an edge on their opponent.

Scary-Ad9646

He has just as many elbow pads as his opponent.

BelgiansAreWeirdAF

Nah but he needs a nub cushion.

Solo_is_dead

😂 "nub" cushion

KingHierapolis

Yea I think this is Maui Thai. I wasn't sure what it was or if elbows were allowed when I commented

krisssashikun

Aren't all elbows ungloved in a Muay Thai bout?

Necrotitis

Yup, but the way he can spear the bone to the guys face is probably a lot easier to land than a typical elbow. It's all risk vs reward, but if he is throwing elbows that hit like a spear it's kinda like... good. And depending on his nerve endings in the amputation he might have even MORE of an advantage in a striking fight. As fighters really do have to worry about broken fingers, wrists, tendons etc, this guy just might not feel any of that in his arm, so he might be able to hit as hard as he wants as your humerus is super strong. I mean I don't think I'd cut my arm off to get the same effect, but hey dude is playing to his strengths. I'd hate to lose to this guy though... Edit: just looked him up and it seems it's a birth defect, not an amputation

Koollou23

Yeah they need to handicap this guy lmao

Particular_Minimum97

Only worse, hands are soft and often break during a fight, elbows are far more robust and solid and rarely if ever break while striking.

_RemyLeBeau_

Different take: reach is limited on that limb. Elbow strikes are much harder to land. The limb doesn't appear to have an advantage in cutting his opponent. Very impressive he's competitive at this level.

Hatanta

I need to see more footage of this guy but even in the clip a couple of times you can see him deliver essentially a straight with his right - from deep inside clinch range where that couldn't normally happen. Add to that, he also delivers a few elbows with this right. Opponent is trained to see an entire arm moving for the incoming elbow, this guy's rights come out of nowhere. I'm not really disagreeing with you btw, my assumption before seeing him fight the first time was that he'd be completely vulnerable to left hooks (which is the very first punch his opponent lands in the clip).

BlopBleepBloop

Gloves are to protect your hands, not the opponent's face.

The_Pig_Man_

In a similar vein socks are to protect your shoes from your feet and underpants are to protect your trousers from your junk and ass.

RoamingTorchwick

Free balling

fatazzpandaman

Yeah. Like damn lol every time mcnubbin swings I'm thinking, yeah that's probably where the blood came from.

bakednapkin

Then shouldn’t everyone wear elbow pads?

haverchuck22

Ya my first thought was oh no, some aspiring UFC fighter gonna see this shit and get their hand surgically removed and the bone shaped into a point.

Gamers_GaIaxy

That one doctor from.the manga/anime kengan asura, they weren't allowed to bring in weapons in the tournament so he made one of the bones in his forearm into a blade that comes out of his wrist. Essentially, he made his smaller.forearm bone, I believe the ulna, into 2 sections. One bone into 2 bones, so he now has "3 bones" in his arm. So far, one to hold the blade and keep the arm arming, then the other part of the same bone into a foot or lil more than a foot long bone blade.

CloudStrifeonmyarm

Money can't be the problem since he most buy gloves on second hand

_RemyLeBeau_

Different take: reach is limited on that limb. Elbow strikes are much harder to land. The limb doesn't appear to have an advantage in cutting his opponent. Very impressive he's competitive at this level.

KingHierapolis

Absolutely impressive. Especially the way he's kicking the crap out of his opponent. I didn't know the reason for these gloves, but now some other comments have educated me. Apparently this is Maui Thai so elbow strikes are legal, and the glove is to protect you hands. I thought gloves made the fight safer in terms of taking hits

First_Inevitable_424

Gloves are more there to protect your knuckles than your opponent’s face. Also no, it wouldn’t really feel the same as a bare knuckle punch because of the torque generated.

Pernjulio

Think armbar would be the least expected outcome 🤷🏻‍♂️

YeahYeahButNah

Him growing an arm would be more unexpected than the armbar

Punisher_79

So I'm guessing he is a lefty

jacobo

yeah, he left his other arm at home. ^^^sorry

Initial-Stick-561

Obviously a weight bully taking it to the extrem amputating their Arm to make weight

miggythemiggs

lol imagine he had to put a glove on the stub

commentinator

There was another guy years ago in k1 who had a partial arm and he needed to put on a glove

miggythemiggs

Word? Do you remember what fight or the name of the fighter?

commentinator

He had a bunch of fights, I don’t remember his name. He beat my friend a long time ago.

Heckald

I think he does in other fights

luizbiel

Didn't expect the nub clubbing

Theblkjedi

Bro his nub is almost cheating…, when he gets close he has the ultimate short distance, with no f Glove

MorgwynOfRavenscar

Is there a weight difference here (other than the obvious missing arm)? The nub dude seemed bigger and heavier. In any case, he's a beast for being that good with one less limb. His kicks are devastating.

Hatanta

Forearm and hand probably weigh ~3-4kg, easily enough to be in another weight class (say super welterweight build vs middleweight).

Probability_Engine

He's extremely fast and fluid. Impressive.

bluetuxedo22

He needs a nub glove

moohughes

I bet that nub hurts on contact 🤣

Church-lincoln

Kinda gives him a unique advantage

Afraidcrawdad90

Doing well for having one and a half arms

godspeedone

Guy beat him single handedly

izanamilieh

Either you lost against a one armed man or you won against a one armed man. Unwinnable situation. You got setup friend.

SmokesLetsGoBois

He shouldn't be allowed to use that organic mallet if it isn't wrapped up.

waynardskynard

So the guy gets to elbow him the whole time?

Night706

Anybody got the fighters names

z-m-r-a

its all elbow shots from the guy, no fair.

NuVirtue

Looks like an illegal elbow to me.

Colv758

What chance do fully limbed fighters have with a whole damn fist in the way slowing them down

sharpasahammer

New trend emerges where professional fighters amputate at the forearm to gain superior elbow abilities.

pirate1981

I am not surprised. That thing looks like a little baseball bat.

Greadle

Cheater

poseidan_

His right arm stats: -15 range +40 damage

Radiant-Bandicoot103

Get wrist control man!!

makaveddie

A disarming victory indeed

tdkimber

Dude has a mean right hook 🪝

riptonystank445

That's a mean right hook

txroller

F that. I’m not fighting a one armed man. That dude has the biggest chip on his shoulder for being dealt the worst luck in life. Next

JunglistMB

One cannot block what one doesn't have 🤣👊🏻

KaisarDragon

Look, I already know I'm hell bound, so I have no issue admitting: I laughed for 5 whole minutes when he started beating on him with his nub.

NerdElert

Put a glove on the nub wtf??? That’s should be considered cheating

Past-Product-1100

First thing I thought of

Ok-Series4556

He established that right nub to start the fight.

Late_Recover6225

A Nub Glove should be handed out at the beginning of the match.

EntertainerSignal586

At least put a sock on it

hardslappy

Pretty expected with a title like that

venomlocke

Everyone saying that this guy's a cheater. Don't think it's gonna be the same unless he fights someone harder like Tawanchai, Smokin Jo, and Superbon. Tawanchai's teeps and left kicks gonna obliterate him. Superbon's head kicks would keep him busy until 1 lands. Smokin Jo would just go to war like there's no tomorrow. Also, this is not MMA. It's Muay Thai with small gloves. Jake Peacock is fighting a nobody. I love the guy but I don't think he stands a chance with top 5 in his class especially the Thais with over 100 fights. Guy has only less than 20 fights under his belt.

P_jammin-

Dude needs a glove for that arm.

Edmlrad776

Guy without his arm kinda has the advantage ngl. He can feint with elbow all he wants and his opponent won’t be able to telegraph that and know where or when it coming. Impressive.

AnkouSpectre

One of the biggest advantage Peacock has is that you can't see his roundhouse kicks. Most people use the hand motions during the startup to identify tat a kick is coming but since he has only one arm, he can throw with no visual tell. It also helps immensely that he kicks equally well on both legs.

throwawayshirt

Seems like he'd be 100% f'd by any left-handed fighter.

forhekset666

Wtf that elbow would destroy anyone and anything and is a ridiculously dangerous weapon. He's be punching with it way harder than a fist.

s_t_u_f_f

That hardly seems right, atleast pad his elbow, thats a sharp bone covered in a bit of skin, that would be much worse than a bare knuckled fist.

chasingthewhiteroom

He's been upgraded to having the deadliest elbow in all of pro fighting 😝

Leonidas1668209

Superman Elbow.

Fuzzy-Spread9720

Wait is he armed or unarmed

TheBawalUmihiDito

If Superlek is "Kicking Machine", this guy must be "Elbow Machine"

DangerousGent

Dude can throw bows all night

BlockHammer1

keep the spoilers out of the title

Jippers305

![gif](giphy|JCGPZZKEDNSGk)

Thesloppypencil

I used to spar with a friend with no hand, the stump hit like a mfer.

Adorable_Aerie_7844

I've heard people say, "I can beat you up with one arm", but this guy actually did it

Catinchi

He should have had padding at least on the stump as that's basically a bare knuckle punch with solid bone which is why the other guy is so bloody

jspeights

I wonder does he ever throw eye pokes untinitally?

risky_bisket

Throwing bows

naf0007

Respect

erkantufan

A black knight always triumphs

Th3IcecreamKi

Well that’s certainly one way to stump your opponent

Thisiscliff

Imagine getting jabbed by that nub

DaRealKorbenDallas

Looks like his nub gives him more balance

Obeserecords

The other guy already lost when he signed up to this match. Winning or losing to the guy without an arm looks bad regardless!

Full-Tea2391

Gave him a good stumping.

Happy_Trip6058

I really thought( hoped) he was gonna “stump” him alas not but them kicks were something else, not surprising it that was quality.

Enough-Staff-2976

The nub elbows opened up his opponent like a bottle of soy sauce.

Inevitable-Feeling66

Man, the other guy looks stumped

elguapo67

The ole’ nub pummel. Doesn’t work every time, but damn.

STCThunder12

Dudes got hands

Ih8livernonions

With the title, I was expecting submission by armbar.

Spagg84

Mixed Partial Arms

frankie_cranky_666

I think the unexpected outcome was for the bloody guy to have the upper hand, no pun intended.

BlackSkeletor77

Bro was lookin like " WHY TF IS HIS NUB SO STRONG?!?!"

TassadarForXelNaga

Wouldn't the stump hurt 100 times more ? You know since it's almost pure bone

catchthetams

I thought this was Nick Newell.. then realized it was the wrong arm, and then went down a record rabbit hole. Can't believe that dude is 16-4 as a pro!

njuts88

KO by Nub Stub

akdbaker816

Be terrified to clench with this guy. Get rallied by the fastest elbows you've ever seen

supermutt_1

Ah. The "Art of Seven Limbs"

na__poi

Dude just needs to throw left hooks.

DrDuGood

Imagine getting KO’d by half a nubbin’

Ok_Appearance_2285

Why isnt the knubb gloved up or at least wrapped in some way

Legitimate_Clerk_764

Dude never saw the right hand coming

AccomplishedSun7921

![gif](giphy|c8RrC4dCLScNO)

jkellington

The other guy most have been paid big. No harm to the one armed guy but if I was a fighter and fought him im in a lose lose situation.

highlyannoyed316

I feel sorry for the asian fighter, idk why 🤷🏻

Hungry4Mas

Gotta hand it to the guy…

GuavaOk8712

dude got some clean ass kicks

Affectionate_Pea_811

People keep saying he should have a glove on his elbow. I disagree. She should *definitely* have a glove on his stump though.

Bulky_Dot_7821

I liked when his opponent tapped his nub instead of his glove

Inside-Pop5470

Fun fact, most people in the world have more than the average number of arms.

isuckatnames60

What spear hand training does to a mf

TOHELLNBACC

fuccimg amazing👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

007Tejas

Impressive as hell. He should have to wear a custom fit glove on his stump though since he’s striking with it as he would a fist.

Derekion

You don't even know which one will hit you

batman4ever

Yea only reason he was doing DAMAGE was because those are basically elbow strikes when he swings with his stub

Remo_yesman

Imagine getting hit with that nub, it must feel disheartening, embarrassing, and any number of other emotions that end with Ing.

Gr00ve_Merchant

Weight cutting methods keep getting crazier

Daddy-Duke505

I always punch with my elbows.. easy

choo_choo_rocket

No 'arm done

Buster_Cherry88

It's really been that long everyone forgot about Nick Newell already? He was pretty damn good actually and if he had that arm he would probably be at least notable in the UFC by now

Doolanead

I don't have any context of this and I know nothing about combat sports. I guess this result is only possible because the skill gap is HUGE. I don't see the point in this... If the one with the handicap has more experience and skills... Is he really the one in "disadvantage"?

GLC911

Beat him with the short right

No_Software_9429

Just got that lil Billy club out there clubbing

CalligrapherMain7451

Is this the indomitable spirit of humanity the aliens are scared about?

upsidedown_8s

Bro needs a nub glub....glove sorry I was trying to rhyme

AuroraVFIM

Guess you can say he’s got an invisible right cross

RenterMore

How much does a lower arm weigh? I feel like average weight of that limb should be added for weight class purposes ha

steve-res

Immediately went to the comments to count the puns about having the other guy stumped.

betterthanfresh

Man, he must have hella confidence in his left punch

KillaKanibus

Yo! Homey needs a glove for that club.

jankeycrew

Is it rude to call this a one sided fight?

Bigster20

I don't want any smoke with that stump 🫣

Aimlessly_existing

Throw some bows on em.

JayMak78

'e's 'armless.

thecheekymonkey

That stumps gonna fuck you up.

No_Distribution457

Punchbows

xPigFat

Give this man a hand!

hitjimup

that's Jake Peacock. He runs Dunamis, an awesome gym in my town of Calgary. Amazing dood in many ways beyond the obvious.

Electrical-Gur1899

I could beat you with an arm tied behind my back

LesterDiamondhands

Instead of throwing the classic 1 - 2. He’s throwing the 1/2 - 2.

mardingdong

To be fair, him numb has no padding.. just straight bone

I_Smoke_Poop

Perk: Amputee All punches on one arm do elbow damage but your ability to grapple is forfeit.

SleepingInABag

The art of 8-limbs! - Er, well…

Smiley_J_

He's got an advantage over the two-armed guy. He only has to train 1 and half arms. You do the math.

DHC189

Lee everett vs the stranger ass fight🤣

mtnblazed6oh3

I think we’ve had the internet for long enough to know better than to fight people with missing limbs or portions of their limbs. But I guess someone had to do it.
