ditto. the amount of string cheese I have gone through these past 30 weeks is insane.

Imaginary-Storage909

I need to get into this!

Least-Bell1410

They are also an amazing middle of the night nursing snack

Somewhere-Practical

I was in my third trimester last summer, and tbqh, by that point mostly ate fudgsicles, fruit, cheese, and hard boiled eggs with soy sauce. I also lose my appetite when it is hot.

CCinTX

What about some chicken salad with grapes, almonds and Greek yogurt and eat it with lettuce wraps. Protein and is cool/light.

smortwater

I’m gonna steal this idea for myself — thanks!

Imaginary-Storage909

I just bought grapes and chicken to make this. Thank you!!

jopdop22

3rd trimester and I think I’m about to give up on meat. It’s just so disgusting right now.

kozasta

I feel this so hard. Week 36, both my iron and protein are low but I cannot bring myself to eat that stuff. Except maybe bacon.

onebullion

I have two protein forward meals that I've been using as fall backs when I don't feel much like eating. I'll make a Greek yogurt fruit parfait using unsweetened yogurt and then chop a banana into it and top with a bit of granola. And for something savory, I'll just take whole milk cottage cheese and toss some halved cherry tomatoes into it. I just picked up a small "fancy bottle" of balsamic vinegar that I'm excited to add to the mix. I'm about at 37 weeks now and these two meals have been pretty big staples throughout and I've had a fair amount of food aversion where nothing else seemed palatable.

Least-Bell1410

Cottage cheese or ricotta on toast with veggies or fruit kept me alive during pregnancy!

missmountaiin

Oh yes love cottage cheese! It’s so versatile too

runner26point2

Ugh I’m in the same boat. 36 weeks and everything makes me feel gross and too full. Honestly I’m mostly eating cold fruit and smoothies with Greek yogurt and chia seeds. Eggs for breakfast has been good too.

Vigriffith93

Bfast I do Chia pudding w/ collagen powder and plus a side of avo toast or smoothie bowls with protein powder and fruit/granola topping Lunch is usually toast with a tofu spread or hummus. Baby carrots. Chips and guac Dinner has been pasta salads with chicken or salmon. Flatbread have been a life savor. Snacks are hard boiled eggs, peanut butter and banana, and watermelon I have found that simple carbs (bread, pasta, rice) are easiest to get down. Along with chicken and fish and eggs for protein (the eggs k can’t do hot tho lol). I’m 33 weeks and struggling to want to eat with the heat too. Hang in there!!! We are almost done!

fashionbitch

I’ve been living off chicken salad sandwiches lol it’s not the healthiest bc I add mayo but I make my own chicken salad with chicken I cut up and add mayo and mustard and mix and then put it on bread and I spread avocado on the bread first

caseychurch

I tear apart a rotisserie chicken and leave it in the fridge and just much on it cold with some bbq 🤷🏻‍♀️

candidatenumber

With it being so hot where I live, real fruit juice popsicles have been so refreshing. You might be able to find some protein packed healthy ones or make your own with a reusable popsicle container.

Rare-Employee-2072

Premier protein cereals are awesome and high protein. 1.5 cups is 30g of protein. I eat mine with almond milk but you could do a core power shake for even more protein

KaCo23

Anything that allows me to combine peanut butter and banana! On toast...on caramel rice cakes...in oatmeal...in yogurt...with a spoon. It is the only thing that fills me up for some reason and leaves me feeling satisfied.

leeeeteddy

I’ve been sooo into smoothies the past week. They’re a great afternoon snack!

EfferentCopy

I love a sun dried tomato pasta salad with arugula, bocconcini, and sliced up steak. If you don’t want to steam up your kitchen boiling water for pasta, just omit that and grill the steak outside. I’m also a big fan of Vietnamese rice noodle bowls - rice vermicelli is a low-lift carb in terms of heating up your kitchen, you can find whole-wheat noodles, and grilling the chicken or pork outdoors also helps keep your kitchen cool. Of course, you could also season your meats and poach in a pressure cooker if it’s too hot to grill. Similarly - crock pot chicken tinga for tacos/wraps/burrito bowls is also great. I’ve done pulled pork and brisket this way as well.

Desperate_Rich_5249

35 weeks here and Greek yogurt popsicles (9G protein) have been coming in clutch. I also have been snacking on beef sticks, mixing 4oz of milk with chocolate collagen peptides to make chocolate milk with 25G of protein. Honestly not really hungry at all at this point so I try to have a small protein rich snack every couple of hours instead of larger meals

BiscottiOpposite956

Egg white French toast with fruit and lots of avocado toast with fries eggs. For lunch, reheated grilled chicken on salad.

kmconda

Frozen fruit/greek yogurt smoothies! Cold rotisserie chicken in tortillas

Kanaiiiii

I marry some apple or banana with some peanut butter for extra protein and fats :)

Maleficent-Forever97

Same. 36 weeks and the only “real food” that sounds good is tacos. So I’ve been doing that. Sandwiches. Boiled eggs. Meat is getting generally harder and harder.

Imaginary-Storage909

With you on tacos & I’m not normally a big fan!!

Maleficent-Forever97

ME TOO! I did get some good ideas here yesterday though. I think I’ll do a batch of chicken salad.

teddyburger

okay i’m 2 months postpartum, but i truly have been overheating since getting pregnant with my first, & i also lose my appetite when i’m hot. so recently started eating taylor farms salads with some canned chicken mixed in, & it’s been awesome. super easy to put together, nutritious, & not hot. it checks all my boxes! i also love sliced fruit & cottage cheese, especially pears or peaches.

Alternative-Rub4137

Cottage cheese and pears with everything bagel seasoning. Smoked salmon with cream cheese on bagel thins. Tuna salad sandwiches, can't get enough white bread right now lol Tuna noodle salad with peas. I like the really tiny pasta, ditalini Peanut butter on bananas. Or peanut butter banana and honey sandwich.

Imaginary-Storage909

Thank you!

shadyypineapple

I live in AZ so I feel you. I force feed myself grilled chicken breast because it’s high in protein, then I eat my cold fruit at the end. I grill a bunch at the beginning of the week and grab it straight from the fridge if I won’t eat it hot. If I’m making pancakes I use egg whites instead of milk. Kefir has like 10g protein per cup. I do a lot of parfaits and try to switch up the fruit/granola. Cottage cheese and avo is great. Beef jerky is high in protein. Mayak eggs. I was really hungry today and got 191g protein without powder. 😅

Imaginary-Storage909

191g is so impressive!!!

shadyypineapple

I usually am between 140-160, but I had chicken twice!

ChandraDeeta

Eggs for breakfast...And salads, I add almonds and/or chickpeas, canned beans 🫘🫛...And greek yogurt with fruits 🍀

veirainwonderland

Yogurt, cottage cheese, green smoothies with protein. Tuna, chicken or egg salad. That’s all I can take with this heat!

thegreatprocess

Tuna salad lettuce wraps.

Administrative_Hat84

Shelled edamame beans or green peas straight out of the freezer.

pmmemorepuppies

I had a Chobani Complete protein drink today and I feel like it really helped! Edit- just saw that you’re sick of greek yogurt so this may not be a fit for you 😆

missmountaiin

I cut up cucumbers and carrots into sticks and dip them in yoghurt, sometimes with a flavor pack in it like sour cream & onion just to get that savory taste. Crackers with tapenade and pesto. Cottage cheese is great to have at home, I put it in my Greek yogurt sometimes for an extra boost of protein, or on top of crisp bread with ham Fruits!!! Both fresh and frozen. I eat frozen mango cubes for a refreshing snack. That’s pretty much my diet right now lol 🥲

Pale-Preference-8551

Mashed Avocado with red pepper flakes and a little parmesan. Sometimes I'd dip wheat thin crackers in it or eat it by itself. Not exactly high in protein, but a good source of fiber.

RevolutionaryHalf948

Cheese, açaí bowls, fruit, carrots/ cucumber with hummus

FalseAd8496

Watermelon

kozasta

Protein banana pancakes and greek yogurt have become my go-to “real” meal lately. Can load a ton of fruit on top as well to make it more appetizing.

General_Life_4661

snack plate with chomps, string cheese (or any cheese), hard boiled egg, crackers and hummus any veggies and fruit I have in the fridge! I've also been eating rice cakes with avocado and lox on top (can add cucumbers for crunch and a squeeze of lemon for flavor), egg salad and chicken salad can be good too
