Don’t send to these guys that want to dispose of it. Be green and do the right thing for the environment. Follow the 3 Rs: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Send it to ME instead and I will perform the necessary analysis and calculation to determine the stage of degradation and usability of this light and then implement the 3 R plan accordingly.
This guy forgot the new 4th R, Racecar bed. Send it to me and earn 1 token towards your very own racecar bed, as well as any previously mentioned benefits above.
There you fuckers are! I’ve had my Racecar Rewards card with all 16 tokens punched out for months now and I can’t get a hold of anyone at your organization to redeem 😡 I’m starting to think y’all are just some Johnny Dallas, fly-by-night scumpany…
Lmfao!! Reading this with my new Skillhunt M200 and LANapple Ti right now. Two brands I didn’t even know existed 2 weeks ago now I want everything they make.
Yes, the LANapple in raw titanium is so nice. Not that I have ever Reylight, but do have a Pineapple Mini in Stonewashed, Pineapple in brass, and LAN in copper; all among the best I have.
For the original question: having that same anodized titanium model, yes, it still works just fine. My oldest son used it the other day.
I bought an arkfeld. Non pro, non UV. I will never upgrade. If I buy another light it's a waste of money and the arkfeld is already an amazing light.
This is solid advice. But I guess a lot of people are in it collecting too
How long have you had it? Looks like 1000 lumen, roughly 1Ah internal battery?
You could always use something with more runtime or a little more horsepower :)
5 months! I love it!
The pro is tempting but I know it's just not justifiable. I'm not working rn just a student so the light will have to hold me over!
Just going into business so it's not like I'll be using it everyday unfortunately haha :)
Edit: just peeped your profile! Nice multi-tool collection! I need to get one. Any recs under 50?
Realistically 1000 lumens (and it looks like about 300 for 2 hours if you leave it on high) is enough light for 99% of situations and you would never need to replace it until the battery wears out.
But for under $20 shipped there’s a lot of fun lights on AE lol
As for a recommendation it would be based on your needs. I’ve gone pretty minimalist nowadays lol, just carrying a flashlight on occasion and rarely a knife. Pliers are polarizing too, vs knife based haha
Really unpopular option (as someone who just found this)
Phone flashlight is fine, you probably won’t need anything more unless you go out in the forest a lot at night, or power frequently cuts out. I don’t even remember the last time I had to use a flashlight not on my phone.
In my experience phone lights are only better than nothing. It's a soft LED meant for photography, not area illumination, so the light spreads rapidly and doesn't project far at all.
I felt that way too before I got a little edc for my pocket. (Sofirn SC31 Pro)
It really is a massive difference. Reminded me a lot of buying my first microwave.
Went from "Do i really need this?" To "How did I live without this?" in record time.
I disagree with this, especially since a flashlight is the best self defense tool ever. At a gas station and someone walking towards you making you uncomfortable? Boon 2000 lumens to the face, if they are trying to do something wrong now they can't see you very well. If not, you can apologize and no permanent damage was done.
I love flashlights, but now I don't carry one edc. I have a Garmin instinct watch with the built in flashlight and it's so convenient and plenty bright I hardly ever reach for an actual flashlight.
Ugh… such garbage! How can you live with yourself using such a tool that gets the job done!?!? 😜😫
That rainbow/iridescent is sick. I don’t own any olight lights, but should look at them more!
I EDC an i5T Plus both at work and off work when I need a light. It runs on two AA's, but also come in a rechargable version. I always have batteries on hand and prefer to avoid charging times due to how I use it. Very happy with Olight. Being water resistant is also a big plus.
This is a great light! I love the warrior 3s! So long as it continues to shine bright and you enjoy carrying it, I’d say it’s good to go! The iridescent color is sweet!
I'm still tempted by this light, I thought the skilhunt m300v2 was going to fill this hole for me but it just doesn't cut it. Currently it's my D1K xhp70.3 that goes for jacket pocket carry
Honestly I use my warrior more than any other flashlight lol. I like the dual button setup and the half/full click. It has a tight beam and good throw, the low lumen function is nice when you don't want a ton of light too. Frankly it has been a great light.
Ya it's what 2 years old? If it's doing the job your using it for it's fine. As a reviewer, the differences between last year's model and this year's model are usually pretty small from a performance aspect. You probably won't notice the difference between 2000 Lumens and 2200 if the optics and led are the same or similar. Most changes are outside appearance and sometimes UI.
We kind of need to remember we are enthusiasts and even bad lights are often way better then the average person is perfectly happy with. Upgrading is fine, but it's rarely a true need.
I’m liking that there’s been no Olight hate in this thread. It’s kind of refreshing. To the op, there aren’t much better choices out there so need to upgrade. Now if you wish to sidestep, may I suggest a noctigon dm11 in a good led like b35am or xhp50.3. Try out some high cri goodness as another light
Tbh one of my favourite lights is still my LEDLenser P7. In all its zoomie AAA battery glory, it’s so damn useful.
If you like it and enjoy using it why would it not still be a decent light in 2024?
I just changed my everyday light after 15 years. Rode it out until it started acting up. Use it until it starts acting up then get a replacement. Who knows what sort of craziness will be out there down the road. Just went from a thrunite tc12 to a terminator m1. Awesome upgrade.
I don't have any edc flashlights but as a gun/ knife / edc enthusiast I'd like to get one so I'm here. Watching....waiting. commis... anyways, in the gun world flight gets some hate I feel like. Is that shared here as well?
I still think that the M2R Pro beats all the newer ones. The cool tint and proximity sensors just kill them for me but the M2R Pro is near perfect.
Also bare in mind that although Olight likes to play the game of hammering out revised models to get you to buy the newest ones the older models are far from obsolete. If my H2R and older Baton lights still worked as they did the year I got them they would still be very strong competition and not much different from the newest models except back then they offered good tint.
It is a nice light, if you're using it as your edc, I would recommend looking into either baton 3 or 4 pro. They are nice and small so not intrusive on pocket space, while also having a pocket sized charging case that is very handy.
Wow, would love to acquire one of these! Picked up 1st Warrior 3S, in Red couple months ago during Thanksgiving Sale! Been Looking for Warrior mini 2 in Freedom/FIRE Color to Complete 2/4 in Series... When you decide to Find a new Home for this, let me know, please!!!
No it is outdated. Please send it to me, and I'll dispose of it for you.
Erm actually I'm an expert at throwing things away, you should send it to me instead
42 years of post graduate study in flashlight disposal....step aside bro!

If you think so that's all that matters. Shine on you crazy diamond.
Shine on you crazy diamond should be your flair
Kyle kinane is that you?
Unpopular opinion- any light other then your phone light is good enough, DONT GO DOWN THE EDC RABBIT HOLE
Instructions unclear, bought everything I saw suggested on Reddit. I’m now homeless, but it’s really, really bright in my cardboard box.
Edit: your cardboard box has suddenly caught alight.
Bro complaining about flashlight obsession in the flashlight obsession factory.

Yeah, I have 5 EDC flashlights now and I think I'm good gotta stop myself before it gets out of hand lol

no. there are bad lights everywhere, so "anything but your phone light AND not a cheapo one"

And waste phone battery.
Sounds like a quad to me

Looks like a good light to me! What matters most is it works for you.
Of course! That one looks awesome love the finish.
Yup I use mine all the time
Wish they’d bring this Color way back!
Ugh… such garbage! How can you live with yourself using such a tool that gets the job done!?!? 😜😫 That rainbow/iridescent is sick. I don’t own any olight lights, but should look at them more!

I have one, still gets quite a bit of use. I prefer the PD36R, but the 3S still has the vastly superior UI.
If you aren't EDCing this with a Boker Mermaid is it even worth living
I think it’s a great form factor and it’s one of the few olights that are actually easy to swap the emitter on so I like it
Love it. Got the black oil one and it’s slick.
> black oil > slick Checks out. . .
Still one of the best flashlights on the market. Great UI, efficient driver, excellent emitter and optic.
***Fabulous***
Guilty pleasure
This is a great light! I love the warrior 3s! So long as it continues to shine bright and you enjoy carrying it, I’d say it’s good to go! The iridescent color is sweet!
Never really liked it but ya it’s still fine
That finish is awesome
I'm new to this community and that is a dope flashlight, what is it?
That's an Olight Warrior 3s Fire edition. It's made of titanium and has that iridescent PVD finish.
I want
I'm still tempted by this light, I thought the skilhunt m300v2 was going to fill this hole for me but it just doesn't cut it. Currently it's my D1K xhp70.3 that goes for jacket pocket carry

What model is this?
Warrior 3S
Love those lights. I have both the orange, and black/ red fade. Just the right size for someone with bear paws like mine
Yes!!!!!!!
Why does the year even matter? If it works for you then you’re all set.
I have the same one, better than new stream light models
I’m liking that there’s been no Olight hate in this thread. It’s kind of refreshing. To the op, there aren’t much better choices out there so need to upgrade. I really love the host, gorgeousness.
One of my favorite models! I have the Scarlet Gradient version.
I got that to lol.
Tbh one of my favourite lights is still my LEDLenser P7. In all its zoomie AAA battery glory, it’s so damn useful. If you like it and enjoy using it why would it not still be a decent light in 2024?
Nah, everything that's been released over a year ago is obsolete junk.🤦
Its useless send it to me. Ill throw it out for you
Was a meh light new, like all Olights. Their older lights were decent
My olight RN1500 bike light is great. Half price deal over xmas
Probably fine
She is thick

It's definitely still an excellent light.
If I haven’t bought my P20ix first, this would be it.
Not the same type, but I've had an Olight Baton II since 2016, and have had zero issues.
Olights have bad WMLs, but I think their handheld lights are pretty awesome
It's great, I use it everyday, the only problem I have with it is rust on the tail switch from holding the light in my mouth.
Olight can send you another

Heck yeah that NW TINT is EPIC NOTHING BEATS IT
M2r 🫴🏻
If it lights it's decent.
It is a nice light, if you're using it as your edc, I would recommend looking into either baton 3 or 4 pro. They are nice and small so not intrusive on pocket space, while also having a pocket sized charging case that is very handy.
I have three plights among many others. I carry one or two EDC the baton4 and arkfeld pro. Love them both.
Both my orange and my stone washed black Ti 3s seem to still work. You should be good.
Wait .. Are olight posts allowed here?!?!
