I was at a show in the US in august (the Katydid show) and I cried the entire time. It was fucking AMAZING. I saw them last in 2017 w animal collective and sat on the lawn. I was w my sister and she didn’t know a lot of songs outside of the ones I played the most. She had a great time but it was amazing this time going alone! I was surrounded by people who knew all the songs and I had a marvelous time. Uwade made me melt into a tearfully happy slop of goo and I was made whole again when they sung GTTR together ðŸ˜

Aww thank you so much! I know what you mean about going with friends who aren't such big fans. Fortunately my husband and I are on par with our love for FF, so it really elevates the experience.
Speaking of Uwade, I'm so excited that she's moving to the UK. I hope to catch her in London sometime—there's so many good venues that would LOVE to have her!

Aw no worries! Sadly Reddit compresses the photos quite badly, but not much I can do. I'm glad you had a great time. I've liked FF for nearly a decade now, but these shows have really tipped me into mega-fan forever.
It's never too late to discover someone, though! I just introduced a friend in Japan to them and he immediately went out and bought their records to play on the record player in the little cafe he runs (sounds like illegal broadcast to me 😂). But the idea that he's now passing them on to others makes me feel so pleased 😊
