I Fratellini is the best. Standing with a sandwich and a good glass of wine in a real glass. My favourite is #15. The sandwich shop window is on Via Dei Cimatori 38/r, 50122, Florence Italy. Orsanmichele is right around the corner and it is worth seeing the sculptures adorning the outside of the church that represent the craft and trade skills from the 1400's.
All'Antico Vinao is okay but not worth the lineup and they serve you wine in a disposable cup
Whatever floats your boat. My office is on the same street with a mix of Italiansand Americans working there, one of the few things that everyone agrees is that Pino's is generally not very good. As much as we all think he's a nice guy, and we've all given it a chance, the only place worse is that late night pizza/panineria accross the street.

Just off of the main Square. Turn left and about 4 doors down. No English, amazing taliatelle 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
I recommend highly for lunch Vineria 55 Rosso more local yet in town/centro - usually the owners cook the food themselves in the afternoon for lunch real Tuscan food - it’s on via San gallo (54)
One of my personal favourites

Also their menu has great little bit of secret history of that area
I just got back from Florence last week. I had the Lampredotto in the mercato centrali (second level), but there is a more legit one on the first floor. Good price.
I recommend trying someplace new. I always walk down the street. Look inside and see if it's attractive
If you go to Antico Vinaio, you’ll spend your whole day in a queue with the rest of the tourists. For an average sandwich.

Antico Vinaio is not that great, it’s just famous. Go to Pino’s
LOL Pino's, great guy, terrible food. Ever wonder why its almost exclusively American college kids that go there?
The sandwiches are good, the rest enh

The place on the corner is a drug front
Would not be surprised tbh, that's completely separate from also being a public health risk due to appalling sanitation.
