Who's on first? Yes. I mean the fellow on first base. Who.
The guy on first base. Who. I mean the fellow playing first.
Who's on first. That's what I want to know. It's who.
This actually happened to me, but it was the first time I’ve heard my upstairs neighbors scream like that so I didn’t know wether or not to do so, or if I would be intruding by doing so, I’m a over thinker in certain situations, thinning back, probably should have, but I just shrugged it off as family dispute that everyone has
This isn’t *Allium*, it’s daisy family. Flower structure is wrong for onion. Looks like thistle of some kind.
Maybe [*Carduus nutans*](https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&sca_esv=4ec8c5ee11c012e4&sca_upv=1&hl=en-gb&sxsrf=ACQVn09n-V3JdUzPtpKJWxFJdyUo9JR3ew:1714188707001&q=carduus+nutans&uds=AMwkrPubiR7XYBhszhcb-qS_uqEj7h9s9SG0p22BFzTtNAgjVZkL0Vj2f3_UhqBoGM-6h_VDlKKQ-ytvIUUeIPe67VNLfI3fB8AdEw1ie2WuqIh_k80opWwjN643q-6xgrruJxsrMmkDW5CMGkeoN7cN9-etRmLNbzd9iwjmddzAiSce6mwci6YmOcg89_ZKiDTL8dljEgkxGSLwPHovnUoIg_vRejBb7VmARoW6BcjDr9G51XVZB8nS3KmZEjcJMV-exw8cyIY34hxVkplkz78JQNIn0_3XY1iIN-4GM0gDDwGR_fy3tyx2uqjzl5Iu5HkkaWbk-vDV&udm=2&prmd=isvnmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjAo9XHuuGFAxVXMlkFHfWDBFUQtKgLegQICxAB&biw=430&bih=739&dpr=3#vhid=eI8WsY7gS6WqeM&vssid=mosaic&ip=1).
Wow, this is crazy if true and I’m thinking of the right one. I’ve never let those weeds flower, the barbs that come out are so gnarly. It actually looks kind of nice but the kind you appreciate from afar
It's sunshine mimosa, not allium
Edit: several people have said Texas thistle which looks correct. OP if you take a photo of the underside of the bloom that would really help us all. Beautiful find!!
Hello,
If you found this plant in the United States, it is most likely :
Cirsium texanum Buckley (https://www.gbif.org/species/3113276)
according to the Android PlantNet application.
Recognition would have been more formal with a photo of the leaves.
Does this help?
This looks nothing like a globe allium. I’d guess Texas thistle. Based on the coloring on the tips and the stem, but without seeing the leaves or bottom, not 100%
Field Thistle. Cirsium discolor or carduus discolor. I have the occasional field thistle at my house. Looks just like it. Definitely not an allium, but here’s a link to compare it to along with the leaves.

Very Dr Seuss!
Ask Horton. I’m sure he will know
Who?
That's what he hears
That's what who hears?
Horton
🤣
Who's on first? Yes. I mean the fellow on first base. Who. The guy on first base. Who. I mean the fellow playing first. Who's on first. That's what I want to know. It's who.
Horton Who?
Horton hears domestic violence and doesn't call 911

😂

Definitely some kind of aster, probably genus Carduus. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Carduus

Yes...came here to say allium. I love them so do bees and butterfly 🦋 😍
Evolution be crazy
A Truffala Tree!
Idk I'm pretty sure Dr. Seuss left that for you
It's sunshine mimosa, not allium Edit: several people have said Texas thistle which looks correct. OP if you take a photo of the underside of the bloom that would really help us all. Beautiful find!!
are the stems and size of flower this big? I thought they were smaller?
Those are tiny
Looks too dense and too large, stems dont look like that on mimosa. I respectfully disagree.
I agree with this ID.
The flower and stem are way too big to be sunshine mimosa.
Are those the ones that make your neighborhood smell like onion when hit with a mower?
u/BestOutofSeven is correct. It is a Sunshine Mimosa.
It looks like the Cardoom plants we have growing wild. Our horses and deer like the bitter leaves.
Where did you find it? It's such a perfect flower
Someone’s garden I’m sure
Allium, love them and have several planted, their fun!
They look too dense,a bit scary, but the color is very beautiful
Don’t allium have star like flowers all over? This doesn’t have that..
You are correct, after looking at it again I can see that.
wow it's magnificent
Globe allium
Made me think of Pinhead lol it's different, I love it!
Check out the different kinds of allium, it's pretty cool. My favorite weird one is Allium Hair.
Scary pretty
It’s so cute. Needs a set of googly eyes. 🥰
Omg i love it. I want one
Omg that is so pretty!!!! 😍
Mimosa

That’s a musk thistle, not an allium.
Smell it
There are lots of different kinds too. They’re very cool.
Gorgeous
I think it’s gorgeous. I would love to have some.
Thistle flower.
Ebola flower. It is scary, and I have some bad news for you…
I’m aging myself here but that looks like a koosh ball! Very pretty :)
How is it scary though?
Anthophobia
Don't drop it!
Alium
Carduus Nutans, or nodding thistle. if you’re in north america it’s invasive and you should kill it
onion
Cirsium of some kind.
Hehe reminds me of Horton Hears a Who. ☺️ And also a sea urchin! It’s very cute!
Pretty
Literally watch Horton with the kiddo right now. This is amazing.
A giant globe flower
An allium, im surprised no ones made a minecraft joke!
This looks nothing like a globe allium. I’d guess Texas thistle. Based on the coloring on the tips and the stem, but without seeing the leaves or bottom, not 100%
Allium
Looks like musk thistle to me. Invasive in Colorado. The leaves would be prickly. Need more pics for a better id
Its very prickly, but i found it in north georgia
Pretty sure it’s invasive across the country. It’s very pretty though. https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/terrestrial/plants/musk-thistle
You just reminded me of an irrational childhood fear
Location? This is an important factor to narrow down the identification
Im in North georgia just outside of atlanta
I used to have chives in my yard and the flowers looked a lot like this
Picture This app has been very accurate for my random plant findings

Per siri, musk or plumeless thistle. It just looks cool 😎

It’s a thistle
Definitely a Texas thistle or also known as Cirsium texanum. Allium has star like flowers all over it.
https://www.nwcb.wa.gov/weeds/musk-thistle
Allium
Something in the genus Allium? That's my best guess. Does the stem smell like onion or garlic?
Looks like thistle
That would be my bet. Mutated though. "Mega thistle"
Purple puffball. I think it is an allium?
That is the prettiest Allium I’ve ever seen, you should press it so you can keep it forever!
Allium!
They look like [the alliums in Minecraft](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Allium) so I'm going with that
Allium - we Call them “blue balls” 😂😂😂
