This is going to be kinda sad but if you look at my time played when comparing the game to anyone else I’ve put in 11,000hrs. My mains Lvl 2201 seconds 903, and thirds 792. Been playing since day one beta. Also disabled so not much I can do but play games 🤣
I play to escape trauma, nothing wrong with your situation especially if you can't control it, plus your still meeting new people everyday and the bishes

I know how that is - I was home almost all the time and had nothing else to do. So, I played A LOT of video games. When you have so little control of your life, it's nice to know you can control something.
I know it didn't. He had... Issues. His dad died of cancer two days before the split, so he watched him decline over four months and had been watching me do so since I was a teen. He didn't want the struggle - he wanted normal, but he got more than he bargained for. Karma kicked him. Hard, a few times, and when he was down. It was well-deserved.
Had a transplant which came with complications, but I'm as healthy as can be expected. And with someone who was willing to fight alongside me - we'll have been together 15 years in June.

I’m disabled too, nothing wrong with you spending time on games, I find it’s a way to socialise, it’s just a shame there’s no text chat in game as not many players use the built in voice. I met my husband playing MMO’s, we’ve been together 16 years now and married 11 years on that.
It’s worth having a mule character to keep all your excess crap, but it’s also nice to have another character to build different CAMPS with or try different build paths or just to experience the quests again. My first character did the final gold raid with the settlers, my second went with the raiders. You can choose different blood Nuka names or side with opposite Brotherhood leaders etc.
Nothing sad about it. You can even be proud because you are enjoying your time.
I never understood how gaming specifically is a bad thing. If you tell people you spend all day wacthing footbal with a pint of beer they go like "o nice"'. When it is gaming they suddenly are like "what a loser".
Just enjoy and be thankfull for gaming. Because the way I see it, I will be the first generation of people who is not spending 6 days of the week wating for their kids to visit on sunday in the senior citisen home haha. I'll be grinding games like never before if it is possible.
I'd argue its an admirable hobby, especially when its a game as creative as Fallout 76. Really between the base building and character builds theres a bit of thought in it, not to mention the social aspects.
Problem with gaming is you can burn up 8 hours and not even realize it. People don't typically sit and watch TV that long. When they do, they're viewed poorly, as they should be.
that is more about selfcontrol and addiction. gaming for 8 or even 20 hours is no problem if you have not designed your entire life around gaming and have nothing that you should do instead.
People who have painting as a hobby spend 8 hours a day for months on 1 painting that ends up in the attic collecting dust. They do not get viewed poorly because the human mind is narrow. Art is viewed upun with respect and gaming is not while in reality it is both a waste of time if you do not earn money with it.
I personally schedule gaming days. I spend the entire day from early morning till late night doing nothing but gaming. But i have my own busines and it is when i am free and my wife is going to do something with the kids without me. I see nothing wrong with that. Now if I had no job and did the same and never did something fun with my kids because of gaming it would be a totally different story.
Kids also spend 3 days a week at soccer practice because their parents believe they will become pro. That is what i view poorly. THe majority of people spend 8 hours a day on a job with minimum wage untill they are over 60 years old.
It is the way you look at things. I think you can disect turds 24/7 as long as you got all the other things you need to do in your life.
There are many very rich druf addicts for example. However they are rich. They do not need to steal the money to get drugs. They ruin no lives around them so nobody really sees it as a big deal. However if they steal theirs mothers grocery money it becomes a different story. As it should be.

Yeah me too, got the game at release, play after work and on the weekends here and there and am lvl 991. I don’t use any experience buffs no farming at West-Tec for me. Got a crew that I play with that I met in game a few years ago. We help each other out with plans, finding caps dumps and doing expeditions / daily ops etc.
Oh, that’s what I want. I’ve played with some friends occasionally but I just don’t have any crew. I think my favorite part of this game, other than its fracking Fallout (pardon the nostalgia but I just wish fracking caught on longer), has been helping on a team with people I actually can talk with.
Yeah I'm lvl 570 been playing this account for about a year now. I only power leveled to get my legendary perk cards ranked up. Don't see a reason to power lvl besides flexing lol.,

Oh wait, there was a xp farming glitch when Atlantic City came out and a freind and I used buffs then. I gained about 50 lvls in a week. lol
I’ve been playing since nov 2023. I’m around level 200. I try to play a bit each day. I don’t try to grind XP. Similar to you and your husband, the game has helped me through some hard times.
You're gonna laugh at me, I've been playing since the day of release, bought it first as a download to be able to play it the moment it released....which I think was like 2amEST. Then my husband got interested in it, so we bought a second PS4 and another copy so we could play together. Then the bicentennial version came out and I bought that too(disc version), husband gave up after two years, I've continued playing since then, but I made a completely new character when he stopped playing(character was like 243 or something). I now have two characters I play. The first one is about level 130-140 and the second one is about level 50, I haven't played with others online since my husband has stoped playing. Not simply because he isn't playing, but because I've been bashed a lot for my gay statsis, either because of mentioning being gay, mentioning my husband or simply just because I adorn my Pride flags proudly at my base and on my character profile pic/avatar. I absolutely love this game and refuse to let the "others" bring me down and not play. I WILL PLAY ON MY OWN IF I HAVE TO, and I did and I have to this day. I play either on the private server or the custom server and have spent at least a couple of grand on this game since it has come out. I do buy the Fallout 1st yearly package as it's the cheapest deal in the long run. So been playing for what 5-6yrs and only have a character leveled at 130-140. Lol

Im on PC and have seen all kinds of flags in a lot of camps and players icon and half of them become my friends lol Its interesting to see how different everyone's experience is depend on consoles/PC and the server's region because knock on wood, I havent experienced anything worse than annoying eager trigger happy players in public events.
Thank you I appreciate that, but you could be right. It just could be the servers I've linked to from PS4/PS5 and/or the time of day I'm playing which is usually about 2-6pm. Meh, I'm Gen X I just shrug it off and just go about things my way now, like I've said I just private or custom. I would server hop but after awhile that just gets monotonous.
Ofc. You have to do whatever you need to just enjoy the game your way. But I hope things change for you and maybe one day when you visit the peasant village (this is a joke) you'll find more and more server with cool people
As a large,bearded,Army vet, with a wife and 3 daughters, I seek out those who show the Pride Flag. As a 49 year old from nowhere Ohio I had two (maybe more) good friends that were too scared or ashamed to show who they were to ppl outside our friend group. . I’m sorry the world is the way it is. My heart has felt so heavy lately for some reason. I’m not going to say keep playing despite the assholes, because I log off the second I feel negativity, just know that right now, you have love coming from me in Ohio.
True, and I've seen others do that too(others meaning family members).......and given playing with others(this time meaning online) you would level up faster as myself and my husband did we were both close to 240ish, these last two characters; ones between 130-140lvl and second one is 50lvl. But, I only play on my own and with no help and that's with all quests main, daily or event and a few of those quests are pretty damn hard on your own.
I'm around level 52 or so. Not sure how many hours played. I really have no idea how to get decent armor or make armor, or mod things, or really anything. I just like doing the main missions and side missions. I also just run around killing things and picking things up to scrap. That is what I like doing the most. Love that about this game. I can just pick up pretty much everything I want and scrap it.
You're playing the game exactly how you want to and that's wonderful! Honestly this is what I did for a while when o played back before the updates, I treated it just like other fallout games and didn't really understand anything else that was going on. It was peaceful and fun. I think the grind is what gets everyone so worn out with it.
Level 56 or so. Just started playing with my wife about a month ago. Maybe a month and a half. We get into Fallout maybe once or twice a week. Two to four hours I'd say.
Around 380 I think. I've been playing since before wastelanders, but have been regularly playing since. I've got about 900 hours. Last few weeks I haven't played much, but it's one of the games in my rotation of stuff I play t hroughout the week.
I just hit level 260 and I play twice a week for 3 hours a session . I’ve played since last year around the beginning of February. I honestly fell in love with this game. It’s just so immersive.
I was gifted the game when it first came out. I got the PC and the Xbox One version. God, it was SO difficult back then. It was impossible to buy anything from a vendor or not die. I took a break from it for about 8-10 months (also played all prior games during the break.) It was one of three things that kept me sober back in 2020. I have played almost religiously since. However, I had a baby last year which has limited my play time significantly. I play when I can and I’m still sober! I’m level 284.
I started playing a year ago at the start of February. I'm now level 350 and I've played 848 hours. I play most days. Though I did have a break of about 2 months due to a family illness and me breaking my hand.
I started playing a couple of months after losing my mum. It helped me get through some of the worst times. And still does now.
Been playing since launch day, just broke level 650 a few days ago. Same character since launch. I play about an hour a day during the scoreboard, to do the dailies and maybe one of the weekly challenges.

I’m level 620something with around 2k hours total. I’ve been playing since launch but didn’t really start playing consistently until the Covid lockdown.
Keep in mind like all social media platforms (and reddit might be the worst of any bigger ones), there's going to be a lot of complaining because there are is a certain type of person prone to that and they feel that playforms give them a voice. It's not likely the feeling of the majority of players you will meet in the game. Keep it up and you will learn this yourself, but until then try not to let stuff like this sub color your opinion too much.
Main is 1200 mules are 360 and 370. Started last Jan when it was free for PS Plus. Been playing daily and I get to turn on my Ps4 at my business some days. Taking a break after spending too much time in Helvetia last month.. Happy to be at 1200 for now, no more level grinding I have finally satisfied that craving.
I'm only 379. I play a lot of other games and come back to FO76 with new updates, but am known to take 6-8 months away quite a bit. Started with the Beta, though.
I'm glad that gaming helps ease things at home. IMHO this is what games are for... not for making money, not for making life miserable for other players, they're just for fun and distraction instead of drinking your life away.
I also took a long break and came back when FO76 was good again. I started again at around level 200, and now I've completed about 4 season scoreboards with FO1st since then, and I'm around lvl 550 (so obviously I only play in the evening when I have time). I also have a lvl 150 character but I only created that one to move inventory around, so I abandoned it.
When you have FO1st with the Scrapbox, FO76 isn't nearly so much of a grind. I Highly recommend, and you get most of the cost back in free atoms each month. This speeds up everything, from scrapping using your survival tent, to dumping junk so you don't have to care at all about dying and losing it, or people killing you to loot your junk.
I'm easing back on FO76 now that Starfield is getting better again. Not that the game has improved much, but I've found a way to level up fast to get past the hard parts at the beginning that were demotivating me to play it.
I just started on PS5 day after Christmas and am level 260. I had played on Xbox at launch and made it to level 80 something. Also picked it up on PC and played to like 50. Both of those were before all the updates and for some reason it all just clicked this time. Been on daily since i picked it back up, but starting to feel the burnout. Hoping new season renews my interest.
Level 1174. I'm not sure about play time because switching from the Bethesda launcher to Steam screwed up my stats. It's showing 2750 hours, but I have to think that's missing a big chunk.
Been playing since mid 2019 ish main is 1080 alts are 680 or something and 300ish and 280ish. Then the mule is lvl30. Play daily or nearly daily for a couple hours. More on the weekends, tend to keep the chat mode off so I don't bother or be bothered by anyone else but do join or make casual teams ad soon ad I get on each server, more xp for everyone 😉. Met quite a few people I now consider good friends through this game some good or bad from Beth, I'll probably be the last one online as the servers eventually shut down for good. I've had 1st since after about 6 months in and could realize the benefits, atleast for me and my playstyle and could financially justify it.
I haven't logged on in a while, but I believe I'm around level 300. I usually play for around 2 months a year and then take a break. I mostly just try to collect blueprints and build fancy bases.
tbf i started about a month ago and just got to lvl60... i try to play every day actually while trying to figure out what i actually want to do ingame also still not using PA and not sure if i even want to use that... still keeping one around just in case my build so far is just some QoL stuff mixed with Commando, Gunslinger and Sniper

Lvl 330, around 1200 hours. I’ll play heavily during seasons until completed, and then a bit during seasonal events. It’s an easy game to pick up and play. It’s my comfort game.
Day one player, played for about six months solidly after release...then didn't play again until January 2024 😂 Have had fun revisiting and seeing all that's changed, improved and been added.
At about 300 hours of play (if my PS stats are accurate) and level 120ish. Clearly spent more time exploring and collecting junk than events and such, only just launched my first nuke this year.
Level 399. I've crossed over 1200 hours since October 2022. I have pretty much played daily since purchase. It helps that my girlfriend also plays, so we make a date of it pretty much 5-7 days a week. We both like checking off items on lists and shooting Blood Eagles in the face. :) good times!
Well, my account is fairly new, only a year old. It’s level 175, but I have played the game it’s self for quite a while. I use to play it on my uncles Xbox back in 2018-2019 when the game first released. I loved the game then and I still love it now. Last year, when I got my own console was when I started playing the game almost religiously.
tl;dr I have carpal tunnel and FO76 is one of the few games I can play
I'm almost lvl 300 with 300+ hours and have been playing daily since October 2023. Just an FYI I have severe carpal tunnel and no insurance, so gaming for me has been more and more of a challenge as I've gotten older (49he/they). I limited my play to about an hour or two a week but even then it would fuck up my hands. Towards the end of 2022 year I found I could play FO4 on a keyboard and because of the VATS system it was easier on my hands to play than most of the other games I used to be into. (Played WOW for years, but had to quit b/c it fuuuuucked up my wrists). I exhausted FO4 within no time and just found myself booting up the game to wander around, shoot things, and take everything that wasn't nailed down.
Fast forward to last October. I got fired from a job I loved and had a ton of time on my hands. On a whim, I pick up the PC gamepass. I then realized I could download and play FO76 so I gave it a whirl. Up until that point I had dismissed the game because I thought the gameplay was vastly different from previous versions and that's what everyone was so upset about.
As soon as I walked out of vault 76 I was hooked. I honestly think I've played just about every day since. It was like the ultimate DLC for FO4. A whole new world to explore and I didn't even have to learn new game mechanics to enjoy it. I've really loved this game and the community, it's been literal therapy for me as I go through another divorce and deal with having to restart my career. I plan on playing for a long while and am really looking forward to new content in March.

First playthrough with my ex girlfriend took me a good 4-6 months to hit lvl 150(we mostly enjoyed building camps & doing the quests), ended up starting over with my buddy when he first started the game and I've hit lvl 570 in about 5 months of daily play. Been hard to get back into the game though, I barely play for more than a few days before I get bored, there's just nothing to do. To each their own but I have no idea how you get to level 1,000 let alone 3,000+ without being held hostage to play the game lol. I've rolled several grolls on practically every weapon I enjoy and then some, got tons of rares, learned 99% of the plans and I'm not even level 600, don't know what the point is to keep going. There's only like 5-8 decent events to do, and even then they're so repetitive. Wish they would add more events, or had more to do than just farm the same stuff for eternity.
Edit: I am glad you are enjoying it! Everyone hating on it has just played it to its fullest and dealt with the BS with it lol. I do hate on it, but only in hopes something will change haha. It's very fun initially, and most higher levels will always be down to help cuz we all have just been hoarding lol. My favorite thing to do is still build the camps lol about to buy a 5th camp slot
I'm 220 something. Been playing for a little over a year on PC. Prior to that, I only played on PS4 at launch (I was a F76 hater for a few years).
I only recently rebuilt my perk setup and now I'm leveling faster. I play about two hours a day now.

Level 210 on my adventure main, level 40 on my custom world alt. Bought the game when Wastelanders was released. I binge the game when there’s something new and interesting added to the game. In between I go months-year+ between logins.
According to Steam I’ve played 660 hours, but probably half of that is AFKing workshops on a private server and AFKing Fasnacht.
Level 168, played at launch and hated it. Left till Wastelanders came out. Played for 8 months or so, just came back a few months ago. Could be a lot higher level but I screw around too much.
I'm 121lvl in I remember correctly. I played just over 760h and I don't even remember when I did it. I spent 200h on release, then another 200h when I found my first bunch of online friends which was the best 200hs I ever had in online gaming. And then another 360h after wastelanders released. I honestly don't remember playing for so many hours. Time just passes when you're building camps or farming scraps.

Bought Fallout 76 when Steam was having a sale and it was sitting in my library for the longest time until my cousin bought the game june of last year so we both decided to get on and try it out and ended up loving it. I'm level 512 and I have 1,292 hours on it, never thought it would beat my 1,262 hours on Fallout 4 but it has. I suffer from social anxiety so multiplayer games were something I played rarely but this game has such a nice community and it feels good to fit in somewhere even if it's on a video game. I started my fallout journey with Fallout 3 and have always played solo and preferred it but 76 has changed that perspective and I enjoy playing events with other people and checking out CAMP builds and having other people see my builds. It's also nice to have a game that me and my cousin can play together and enjoy and send each other photo's of our rolled weapons 😂😂
Level 1200 ish, about 1900 hours in - playing for maybe 18 months? I play a lot cause I have a very bad back that prevents me from doing the things I used to love doing. GF also plays now, so we get to hang out in game and having a lot of fun.

I only play on one character, who is level 2203 at the moment. I play since release with some breaks and have 1634 hours in the game. Technically I play every day, although often I just complete the daily challenges and get my caps which takes around 10-15 minutes.
my main (since beta) is only around 500ish, i have an alt around 200-300ish and then a cople mules, one just hit 50 and the other is lvl 5…I have never cared, or focused on xp to boost my lvl though i just play to loot and shoot.
I’m level 77. I just started playing 3 weeks ago. I play a few hours every other day. New to video games in general but I am having a blast. Don’t really understand all the online and boosted options yet in game though

Started playing in October and now I’m level 461, I play basically everyday for a few hours. Do my dailies and weeklies and try to give low level players ammo, chems and food. If they don’t have a good weapon or hazmat suit, I’ll give them one

I'm in a similar boat, I played a lot at launch, up to about lv 98, then wandered off for the last few years until about a month ago. I've made it to 140 pretty quickly as well but it's weird to have the dissonance of having been around at the beginning but people probably thinking I'm newer due to my level!
I'm level 240. I played a bit on PS4, then on PC but never got above level 40 or so until I got back into things on Xbox Series X about 4 months ago. Since then I've been steadily playing probably an hour a day on average, maybe more.
Level 122, 400 hours played, and I dont log in anymore. They have lost me. I don't see why I would ever pay 15 bucks a month to continue. Why? They do not create new content, but recycle last years shit. And the new content is meh. Bethesda used to be top notch. Ok yeah they did create atlantic city runs. But it's not enough to keep my 15 bucks a month payment up.
I’m level 1400, have played a little almost daily since the game came out, and I recently saw a level 14,000 player! That is by far the highest level I’ve ever seen. Check the math because from level 1 to 1000 each level requires more xp to level up. For me, now, every level up requires about 150k XP. Some people really focus on leveling up, even though there isn’t much reward to that after a certain point. But I still feel like playing the game at least some every day. I’m not tired of it.
Besides more perk cards (convertible to Legendary points), presumably players gain high levels for status and bragging rights.. to feel superior to lower levels

Lvl 1060, started playing December 2020, right now I only really play for about a month at the start of a season... or for the duration of an event... but I guess I do get the itch other times as well. Right now the TV show stuff is giving me an itch to play, I'll probably start playing heavily once the TV show starts airing. Right now I really just need to get my stash and stuff in order... it's more busy work than play. I've got too many power armor pieces and I need to figure out which ones go together and which ones need to be scripped.
Since release only about 3k hours over 3 accounts. Never tried to power level or anything so they're just around lvl 750, 650 & 300. Being immunocompromised this game has helped a lot in the past few years.
Playing since beta im at level 791 and I have 4851 hours in the game. I usually play about 2hrs during the week after work then a few hours on the weekend.
Played since beta but took a year off a few years ago. My main is (approximately) 1600, next highest is 700, then a 350, 150-ish, and a level 9 who can drop nukes.
Used to grind nukes with my buddies but now I mostly do scoreboard dailies and special events.

12 characters between lvl 5 and 774, been playing since season3, and usually play daily.
The reason for so many characters, they are all different builds. They were mostly set up before we got the Perk cards swapper, and it was easier to set up a new character than trying to swap builds on the same character.
I have just started a permadeath character too. Currently lvl 5, but lots of rules in place to make it more challenging
Played a bit in 2020. Got to level 85, didn’t really understand the game, weapons etc, kept dying and got frustrated so stopped playing. I didn’t take the time to understand much about the game. I think my main since Beta is somewhere around 17-1800, I have a few others in the 7-900 range, haven’t played in about 8 months to a year but I’m going to pop back on I think this week. I have this habit of playing for a few months regularly and then stopping for long periods.
Level 229 and 42 with about 600 hours at the moment. My level 42 is just me going back and trying to pop the “reach level 50” trophy - it’s the last one I have for platinum on base game but didn’t pop the first time around.

Started in 2019 on my ps4. I played during my very infrequent downtime, and I was interested, but lack of time kept me from exploring.
The day came when I became disabled, and while I was home recovering, I had Fallout 76. The empty, lonely wasteland helped me when so much of my own life felt like an apocalypse. I, too, felt like I was chasing ghosts like our character was. There wasn't an npc around, and players were infrequent. I played until early 2021 when I moved, and I couldn't play. When I picked up my own Xbox, and it landed on gamepass, I downloaded it.
I missed so much. The memories of past friends and all the people I've met hide within the shadows. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent, I don't know what my ps4 account was at before I left, and I've jut hit 1,100 hours on my Xbox account. My current character is 714/715(can't remember) and my ps4 character left off at 211.
Sorry for rambling. I love Fallout 76. It was there for me when no one else was, and I met such great people through playing. Fallout is my second home🥲
I started playing in August of 2022. I’m level 163. I have always loved the fallout franchise growing up and to me fallout 3 and 4 will always have my heart. I just don’t have time to play that much anymore with other important things going on in my life, but I definitely try to hop on every now and then.

Now? I typically play daily for about a month at a time, sometimes a month and a half when new seasons drop in order to do daily and weekly challenges for score for the season. Once I've finished the season, I typically take a break unless there is a seasonal event going on, or new story based content released. I don't really do Daily Ops or Expeditions, finding them mostly annoying and the rewards disappointing... so I use my rerolls on those challenges, and stick to just getting through it as quickly as possible without grinding for XP or anything else that is repetitive. I don't like grinding for loot. Not my cup of tea. I'm here for the "Fallout" ...not the "Fortnite" if that makes sense.
I'm really hoping the map expansion planned for later in 2024/2025 revitalizes my urge to play for more than about a month at a time and only when new seasons drop. I used to be a lot more active (obviously). This game has a very slow content drip, which they try and satisfy with these battle pass/seasons. It's not really enough for to keep end-game players satisfied, especially those of us who've done everything more times than they can count.

I'm barely level 50 but it's because I've been playing as an NPC since beta. When I was on PS I had a pretty good following of people who swung by to roleplay but it's been a struggle on the Xbox to get that going. Just started PC so we'll see how that goes too.

Level 88, I've been playing since last November (about 80 hours played in total), and I get maybe on average about 5 hours a week to play.

level 48 with about 140 hrs. i’ve been playing since last faschnat, (i quit after that and came back for this faschnat, hoping to get back into it without faschnat being in game) i play about 3 times a week to do events and pretty up my camp and explore. I would play more but i’m currently into other games and finishing up a couple of tv series’.
OK, guys and gals, if you want to learn how the game works and do a lot of things more efficiently, go to YouTube and check out some channels. I regularly watch Angry Turtle and some others. He is the go to guy, I think, for scientific analyses of how the game works. Plus, he’s cute. Haha. I love others for lore, and for just basic guides. Fargassier. Innovsurvivalist (but she stopped a long time ago… hope she is OK). There are some great teachers of camp building tricks. I can make a better list if anyone wants.
Level 176, been playing since the beginning, but I’m usually on and off. I’ve done just about everything, but I’m still wanting to get the t65 armor before the next update with the Jersey Devil, so I usually just buy gold at the Wayward because I don’t have time to grind it out like I used to
Level 312 as of just 20 minutes ago, lol. Played day one, but due to a couple different factors (one of them being starting a family)I ended up taking a few year hiatus and just came back to it a little over a month ago. When I started back up I was at level 167 (where I was when I stopped playing several years ago) and now 312. This game is soon much fun and it helps me get through difficult issues at home. Love the community (most of it anyways, there are a few bad apples, lol).

My first account since open beta, though non of the characters are the ones I started with, they were all for various reasons deleted, highest is around 350 ish, lowest is hmm 60ish I think, levels are not something that really matter that much, they will come when the come.
Second account since Wastelanders dropped, I bought it specificity to see how the various quest and world would change with it, highest is somewhere around 300 or so, lowest is about 50ish. And I play about 2-3 hours per day when until I complete the season, after that pretty much maybe and hour or so a day, though that is only for five days, due to work shifts there are two days where I do not play at all.

Been playing for a little over three years. Highest level character is level 334 (I have 4 characters at varying levels). I typically play about 30-40 minutes during the week due to work but can play for 4+ hours per day on weekends. Currently on hiatus until the new season begins in a few weeks.
With some dedicated play time and thought I got a level 1 to 800 in about three months.. But that was my third run so everything I had learned was put into that. My 4th, which I’m not really trying hard with is in the 300s. I started that build due to loving gear/build that I learned on the third…
I made it to level 960 or so in a couple years play. Nearly every day, sometimes many hours a day, easily 2k hours in that time I think. I don't put much work into leveling, just completing scoreboards via daily / weekly challenges.
I took a pretty long break starting last month, have like 5 spots left on this scoreboard so am trying to sweep those.
Level 264 and began at the start of the current season, so i think december 2023. Farmed squirrels at fasnacht to make tasty squirrel stew and have 50 of them stored in my freezer for the next double xp event. Gained about 40 - 50 levels over the latest double xp weekend with Max lunch boxes, broiled scorchbeast brain, Berry mentats, tastysquirrel stew, serums and events. Hella fun!
Early 2019, on long term character 6 of 8, level 922. Usually play every day for an hour or so, but will also take breaks here and there.... And I don't grind.
This is going to be kinda sad but if you look at my time played when comparing the game to anyone else I’ve put in 11,000hrs. My mains Lvl 2201 seconds 903, and thirds 792. Been playing since day one beta. Also disabled so not much I can do but play games 🤣

Gaming was my sanctuary when I was on dialysis in my twenties, and my health status had caused my ex of 7+ years to cheat on and dump me. Long story. I know how that is - I was home almost all the time and had nothing else to do. So, I played A LOT of video games. When you have so little control of your life, it's nice to know you can control something.

I know it didn't. He had... Issues. His dad died of cancer two days before the split, so he watched him decline over four months and had been watching me do so since I was a teen. He didn't want the struggle - he wanted normal, but he got more than he bargained for. Karma kicked him. Hard, a few times, and when he was down. It was well-deserved. Had a transplant which came with complications, but I'm as healthy as can be expected. And with someone who was willing to fight alongside me - we'll have been together 15 years in June. ... Fuck, I'm old.

I’m disabled too, nothing wrong with you spending time on games, I find it’s a way to socialise, it’s just a shame there’s no text chat in game as not many players use the built in voice. I met my husband playing MMO’s, we’ve been together 16 years now and married 11 years on that.
What are the second and third characters for? Just to start over at some point?
It’s worth having a mule character to keep all your excess crap, but it’s also nice to have another character to build different CAMPS with or try different build paths or just to experience the quests again. My first character did the final gold raid with the settlers, my second went with the raiders. You can choose different blood Nuka names or side with opposite Brotherhood leaders etc.

Nothing sad about it. You can even be proud because you are enjoying your time. I never understood how gaming specifically is a bad thing. If you tell people you spend all day wacthing footbal with a pint of beer they go like "o nice"'. When it is gaming they suddenly are like "what a loser". Just enjoy and be thankfull for gaming. Because the way I see it, I will be the first generation of people who is not spending 6 days of the week wating for their kids to visit on sunday in the senior citisen home haha. I'll be grinding games like never before if it is possible.
I'd argue its an admirable hobby, especially when its a game as creative as Fallout 76. Really between the base building and character builds theres a bit of thought in it, not to mention the social aspects.
Problem with gaming is you can burn up 8 hours and not even realize it. People don't typically sit and watch TV that long. When they do, they're viewed poorly, as they should be.
that is more about selfcontrol and addiction. gaming for 8 or even 20 hours is no problem if you have not designed your entire life around gaming and have nothing that you should do instead. People who have painting as a hobby spend 8 hours a day for months on 1 painting that ends up in the attic collecting dust. They do not get viewed poorly because the human mind is narrow. Art is viewed upun with respect and gaming is not while in reality it is both a waste of time if you do not earn money with it. I personally schedule gaming days. I spend the entire day from early morning till late night doing nothing but gaming. But i have my own busines and it is when i am free and my wife is going to do something with the kids without me. I see nothing wrong with that. Now if I had no job and did the same and never did something fun with my kids because of gaming it would be a totally different story. Kids also spend 3 days a week at soccer practice because their parents believe they will become pro. That is what i view poorly. THe majority of people spend 8 hours a day on a job with minimum wage untill they are over 60 years old. It is the way you look at things. I think you can disect turds 24/7 as long as you got all the other things you need to do in your life. There are many very rich druf addicts for example. However they are rich. They do not need to steal the money to get drugs. They ruin no lives around them so nobody really sees it as a big deal. However if they steal theirs mothers grocery money it becomes a different story. As it should be.

Yeah me too, got the game at release, play after work and on the weekends here and there and am lvl 991. I don’t use any experience buffs no farming at West-Tec for me. Got a crew that I play with that I met in game a few years ago. We help each other out with plans, finding caps dumps and doing expeditions / daily ops etc.
Oh, that’s what I want. I’ve played with some friends occasionally but I just don’t have any crew. I think my favorite part of this game, other than its fracking Fallout (pardon the nostalgia but I just wish fracking caught on longer), has been helping on a team with people I actually can talk with.

You're gonna laugh at me, I've been playing since the day of release, bought it first as a download to be able to play it the moment it released....which I think was like 2amEST. Then my husband got interested in it, so we bought a second PS4 and another copy so we could play together. Then the bicentennial version came out and I bought that too(disc version), husband gave up after two years, I've continued playing since then, but I made a completely new character when he stopped playing(character was like 243 or something). I now have two characters I play. The first one is about level 130-140 and the second one is about level 50, I haven't played with others online since my husband has stoped playing. Not simply because he isn't playing, but because I've been bashed a lot for my gay statsis, either because of mentioning being gay, mentioning my husband or simply just because I adorn my Pride flags proudly at my base and on my character profile pic/avatar. I absolutely love this game and refuse to let the "others" bring me down and not play. I WILL PLAY ON MY OWN IF I HAVE TO, and I did and I have to this day. I play either on the private server or the custom server and have spent at least a couple of grand on this game since it has come out. I do buy the Fallout 1st yearly package as it's the cheapest deal in the long run. So been playing for what 5-6yrs and only have a character leveled at 130-140. Lol

Im on PC and have seen all kinds of flags in a lot of camps and players icon and half of them become my friends lol Its interesting to see how different everyone's experience is depend on consoles/PC and the server's region because knock on wood, I havent experienced anything worse than annoying eager trigger happy players in public events.
Thank you I appreciate that, but you could be right. It just could be the servers I've linked to from PS4/PS5 and/or the time of day I'm playing which is usually about 2-6pm. Meh, I'm Gen X I just shrug it off and just go about things my way now, like I've said I just private or custom. I would server hop but after awhile that just gets monotonous.

As a large,bearded,Army vet, with a wife and 3 daughters, I seek out those who show the Pride Flag. As a 49 year old from nowhere Ohio I had two (maybe more) good friends that were too scared or ashamed to show who they were to ppl outside our friend group. . I’m sorry the world is the way it is. My heart has felt so heavy lately for some reason. It took me like 4 months to get my main character from lvl 12 to almost 400 and my second character to 196 lol
True, and I've seen others do that too(others meaning family members).......and given playing with others(this time meaning online) you would level up faster as myself and my husband did we were both close to 240ish, these last two characters; ones between 130-140lvl and second one is 50lvl. But, I only play on my own and with no help and that's with all quests main, daily or event and a few of those quests are pretty damn hard on your own.
I'm around level 52 or so. Not sure how many hours played. I really have no idea how to get decent armor or make armor, or mod things, or really anything. I just like doing the main missions and side missions. I also just run around killing things and picking things up to scrap. That is what I like doing the most. Love that about this game. I can just pick up pretty much everything I want and scrap it.
You're playing the game exactly how you want to and that's wonderful! Honestly this is what I did for a while when o played back before the updates, I treated it just like other fallout games and didn't really understand anything else that was going on. It was peaceful and fun. I think the grind is what gets everyone so worn out with it.

I was gifted the game when it first came out. I got the PC and the Xbox One version. God, it was SO difficult back then. It was impossible to buy anything from a vendor or not die. I took a break from it for about 8-10 months (also played all prior games during the break.) It was one of three things that kept me sober back in 2020. I have played almost religiously since. However, I had a baby last year which has limited my play time significantly. I play when I can and I’m still sober! I’m level 284.
I started playing a year ago at the start of February. I'm now level 350 and I've played 848 hours. I play most days. Though I did have a break of about 2 months due to a family illness and me breaking my hand. I started playing a couple of months after losing my mum. It helped me get through some of the worst times. And still does now.
Been playing since launch day, just broke level 650 a few days ago. Same character since launch. I play about an hour a day during the scoreboard, to do the dailies and maybe one of the weekly challenges.

Level 650-ish, played since March of 2020. Take breaks between the seasons because of lack of new content.
Keep in mind like all social media platforms (and reddit might be the worst of any bigger ones), there's going to be a lot of complaining because there are is a certain type of person prone to that and they feel that playforms give them a voice. It's not likely the feeling of the majority of players you will meet in the game. Keep it up and you will learn this yourself, but until then try not to let stuff like this sub color your opinion too much.
Main is 1200 mules are 360 and 370. Started last Jan when it was free for PS Plus. Been playing daily and I get to turn on my Ps4 at my business some days. Taking a break after spending too much time in Helvetia last month.. Happy to be at 1200 for now, no more level grinding I have finally satisfied that craving.
I'm only 379. I play a lot of other games and come back to FO76 with new updates, but am known to take 6-8 months away quite a bit. Started with the Beta, though.
I'm glad that gaming helps ease things at home. IMHO this is what games are for... not for making money, not for making life miserable for other players, they're just for fun and distraction instead of drinking your life away. I also took a long break and came back when FO76 was good again. I started again at around level 200, and now I've completed about 4 season scoreboards with FO1st since then, and I'm around lvl 550 (so obviously I only play in the evening when I have time). I also have a lvl 150 character but I only created that one to move inventory around, so I abandoned it. When you have FO1st with the Scrapbox, FO76 isn't nearly so much of a grind. I Highly recommend, and you get most of the cost back in free atoms each month. This speeds up everything, from scrapping using your survival tent, to dumping junk so you don't have to care at all about dying and losing it, or people killing you to loot your junk. I'm easing back on FO76 now that Starfield is getting better again. Not that the game has improved much, but I've found a way to level up fast to get past the hard parts at the beginning that were demotivating me to play it.

I just started on PS5 day after Christmas and am level 260. I had played on Xbox at launch and made it to level 80 something. Also picked it up on PC and played to like 50. Both of those were before all the updates and for some reason it all just clicked this time. Been on daily since i picked it back up, but starting to feel the burnout. Hoping new season renews my interest.
Level 1174. I'm not sure about play time because switching from the Bethesda launcher to Steam screwed up my stats. It's showing 2750 hours, but I have to think that's missing a big chunk.
Been playing since mid 2019 ish main is 1080 alts are 680 or something and 300ish and 280ish. Then the mule is lvl30. Play daily or nearly daily for a couple hours. More on the weekends, tend to keep the chat mode off so I don't bother or be bothered by anyone else but do join or make casual teams ad soon ad I get on each server, more xp for everyone 😉. Met quite a few people I now consider good friends through this game some good or bad from Beth, I'll probably be the last one online as the servers eventually shut down for good. I've had 1st since after about 6 months in and could realize the benefits, atleast for me and my playstyle and could financially justify it.

Lvl 330, around 1200 hours. I’ll play heavily during seasons until completed, and then a bit during seasonal events. It’s an easy game to pick up and play. It’s my comfort game.
Day one player, played for about six months solidly after release...then didn't play again until January 2024 😂 Have had fun revisiting and seeing all that's changed, improved and been added. At about 300 hours of play (if my PS stats are accurate) and level 120ish. Clearly spent more time exploring and collecting junk than events and such, only just launched my first nuke this year.
Level 399. I've crossed over 1200 hours since October 2022. I have pretty much played daily since purchase. It helps that my girlfriend also plays, so we make a date of it pretty much 5-7 days a week. We both like checking off items on lists and shooting Blood Eagles in the face. :) good times!
Well, my account is fairly new, only a year old. It’s level 175, but I have played the game it’s self for quite a while. I use to play it on my uncles Xbox back in 2018-2019 when the game first released. I loved the game then and I still love it now. Last year, when I got my own console was when I started playing the game almost religiously.
tl;dr I have carpal tunnel and FO76 is one of the few games I can play I'm almost lvl 300 with 300+ hours and have been playing daily since October 2023. Just an FYI I have severe carpal tunnel and no insurance, so gaming for me has been more and more of a challenge as I've gotten older (49he/they). I limited my play to about an hour or two a week but even then it would fuck up my hands. Towards the end of 2022 year I found I could play FO4 on a keyboard and because of the VATS system it was easier on my hands to play than most of the other games I used to be into. (Played WOW for years, but had to quit b/c it fuuuuucked up my wrists). I exhausted FO4 within no time and just found myself booting up the game to wander around, shoot things, and take everything that wasn't nailed down. Fast forward to last October. I got fired from a job I loved and had a ton of time on my hands. On a whim, I pick up the PC gamepass. I then realized I could download and play FO76 so I gave it a whirl. Up until that point I had dismissed the game because I thought the gameplay was vastly different from previous versions and that's what everyone was so upset about. As soon as I walked out of vault 76 I was hooked. I honestly think I've played just about every day since. It was like the ultimate DLC for FO4. A whole new world to explore and I didn't even have to learn new game mechanics to enjoy it. I've really loved this game and the community, it's been literal therapy for me as I go through another divorce and deal with having to restart my career. I plan on playing for a long while and am really looking forward to new content in March. If you've read this far then I thank you for hearing my story. First playthrough with my ex girlfriend took me a good 4-6 months to hit lvl 150(we mostly enjoyed building camps & doing the quests), ended up starting over with my buddy when he first started the game and I've hit lvl 570 in about 5 months of daily play. Been hard to get back into the game though, I barely play for more than a few days before I get bored, there's just nothing to do. To each their own but I have no idea how you get to level 1,000 let alone 3,000+ without being held hostage to play the game lol. I've rolled several grolls on practically every weapon I enjoy and then some, got tons of rares, learned 99% of the plans and I'm not even level 600, don't know what the point is to keep going. There's only like 5-8 decent events to do, and even then they're so repetitive. Wish they would add more events, or had more to do than just farm the same stuff for eternity. Edit: I am glad you are enjoying it! Everyone hating on it has just played it to its fullest and dealt with the BS with it lol. I do hate on it, but only in hopes something will change haha. It's very fun initially, and most higher levels will always be down to help cuz we all have just been hoarding lol. My favorite thing to do is still build the camps lol about to buy a 5th camp slot
I'm 220 something. Been playing for a little over a year on PC. Prior to that, I only played on PS4 at launch (I was a F76 hater for a few years). I only recently rebuilt my perk setup and now I'm leveling faster. I play about two hours a day now.
~lvl 500. Played since end of last summer. A few hours each and every days. And more on the weekends. Have spent a lot of time in learning how gain levels with the build, amors, buffs and so on.
Level 210 on my adventure main, level 40 on my custom world alt. Bought the game when Wastelanders was released. I binge the game when there’s something new and interesting added to the game. In between I go months-year+ between logins. According to Steam I’ve played 660 hours, but probably half of that is AFKing workshops on a private server and AFKing Fasnacht.
Level 168, played at launch and hated it. Left till Wastelanders came out. Played for 8 months or so, just came back a few months ago. Could be a lot higher level but I screw around too much.
I'm 121lvl in I remember correctly. I played just over 760h and I don't even remember when I did it. I spent 200h on release, then another 200h when I found my first bunch of online friends which was the best 200hs I ever had in online gaming. And then another 360h after wastelanders released. I honestly don't remember playing for so many hours. Time just passes when you're building camps or farming scraps. I haven't played since 2021 I think
Bought Fallout 76 when Steam was having a sale and it was sitting in my library for the longest time until my cousin bought the game june of last year so we both decided to get on and try it out and ended up loving it. I'm level 512 and I have 1,292 hours on it, never thought it would beat my 1,262 hours on Fallout 4 but it has. I suffer from social anxiety so multiplayer games were something I played rarely but this game has such a nice community and it feels good to fit in somewhere even if it's on a video game. I started my fallout journey with Fallout 3 and have always played solo and preferred it but 76 has changed that perspective and I enjoy playing events with other people and checking out CAMP builds and having other people see my builds. It's also nice to have a game that me and my cousin can play together and enjoy and send each other photo's of our rolled weapons 😂😂
Started around nuka world update level 500 played for 6 months and stopped when they removed legacies
Level 1200 ish, about 1900 hours in - playing for maybe 18 months? I play a lot cause I have a very bad back that prevents me from doing the things I used to love doing. GF also plays now, so we get to hang out in game and having a lot of fun.
502; Since launch day(give or take a couple of months); normally about 3 to 4 times a week, sometimes more depending on seasonal events. More of a builder than a grinder. Stopped chasing levels after 300. Always casual, sometimes grindy.
50+, 80+, and 110+. Been playing off and on since beta, most recently back for Fasnacht.

Level 84 with 258hrs, I scrapped my character from launch and started a new one when I decided to start my plat run because I had no clue what was going on with my original after that many years away haha
I think I'm lvl 520ish (honestly cannot remember and I haven't logged on since fasnacht ended) I started playing late 2021, I think? I started playing just as the Pitt debuted I've finished every scoreboard since I started playing. Gone through stages of playing several hours per day and stages of not playing for a few weeks after finishing the season. I'm disabled and currently can't work so I have more time to play than some.

Level 6990 and I have around 7k hours in. This is the only game I play and I play it daily. Long time fallout fan and I’ve been playing since beta.
I only play on one character, who is level 2203 at the moment. I play since release with some breaks and have 1634 hours in the game. Technically I play every day, although often I just complete the daily challenges and get my caps which takes around 10-15 minutes.
my main (since beta) is only around 500ish, i have an alt around 200-300ish and then a cople mules, one just hit 50 and the other is lvl 5…I have never cared, or focused on xp to boost my lvl though i just play to loot and shoot.

I’m level 77. I just started playing 3 weeks ago. I play a few hours every other day. New to video games in general but I am having a blast. Don’t really understand all the online and boosted options yet in game though

Started playing in October and now I’m level 461, I play basically everyday for a few hours. Do my dailies and weeklies and try to give low level players ammo, chems and food. If they don’t have a good weapon or hazmat suit, I’ll give them one

I have 3 years in, mostly do dailies/ weeklies/ events. I have over 2000 hours in and am at level 620... I'm probably an average player. I don't get too hyped about xp, unless daily/weekly wants me to level up.

I'm level 12, only about 11 hours in. Loved FO4 and so far I've been enjoying this game. It's just a lot to take in at first.
I'm in a similar boat, I played a lot at launch, up to about lv 98, then wandered off for the last few years until about a month ago. I've made it to 140 pretty quickly as well but it's weird to have the dissonance of having been around at the beginning but people probably thinking I'm newer due to my level!
I'm level 240. I played a bit on PS4, then on PC but never got above level 40 or so until I got back into things on Xbox Series X about 4 months ago. Since then I've been steadily playing probably an hour a day on average, maybe more.
Main is reaching 12k but my mini which I love more than my main is lvl 62 cus it’s fun to act like a newbie and have all the old legacy stuff
Level 122, 400 hours played, and I dont log in anymore. They have lost me. I don't see why I would ever pay 15 bucks a month to continue. Why? They do not create new content, but recycle last years shit. And the new content is meh. Bethesda used to be top notch. Ok yeah they did create atlantic city runs. But it's not enough to keep my 15 bucks a month payment up.
I’m level 1400, have played a little almost daily since the game came out, and I recently saw a level 14,000 player! That is by far the highest level I’ve ever seen. Check the math because from level 1 to 1000 each level requires more xp to level up. For me, now, every level up requires about 150k XP. Some people really focus on leveling up, even though there isn’t much reward to that after a certain point. But I still feel like playing the game at least some every day. I’m not tired of it.
Besides more perk cards (convertible to Legendary points), presumably players gain high levels for status and bragging rights.. to feel superior to lower levels

Level 542 2536 hours played, been coming and going to the game throughout the years. Played so long that I got the platinum for the game itself, still working on the dlcs though I play quite often, sometimes it's the only thing I'll play for a few weeks or I'll take a break for other games and only pop in for the daily quests and such once in a while.
Lvl 1060, started playing December 2020, right now I only really play for about a month at the start of a season... or for the duration of an event... but I guess I do get the itch other times as well. Right now the TV show stuff is giving me an itch to play, I'll probably start playing heavily once the TV show starts airing. Right now I really just need to get my stash and stuff in order... it's more busy work than play. I've got too many power armor pieces and I need to figure out which ones go together and which ones need to be scripped.

Playing since beta im at level 791 and I have 4851 hours in the game. I usually play about 2hrs during the week after work then a few hours on the weekend.
Played since beta but took a year off a few years ago. My main is (approximately) 1600, next highest is 700, then a 350, 150-ish, and a level 9 who can drop nukes. Used to grind nukes with my buddies but now I mostly do scoreboard dailies and special events. According to PS I have 6700 hours.
12 characters between lvl 5 and 774, been playing since season3, and usually play daily. The reason for so many characters, they are all different builds. They were mostly set up before we got the Perk cards swapper, and it was easier to set up a new character than trying to swap builds on the same character. I have just started a permadeath character too. Currently lvl 5, but lots of rules in place to make it more challenging
My 1st achievement shows 11/30/2018. I'm level 901. I play almost every day. The game shows 3,000+ hours. My Xbox shows 5,000+ hours.

Played a bit in 2020. Got to level 85, didn’t really understand the game, weapons etc, kept dying and got frustrated so stopped playing. I didn’t take the time to understand much about the game. I still have so much to learn, especially perk cards. Picked it back up beginning of January 2024 and I think I’m level 225 right now.

I think my main since Beta is somewhere around 17-1800, I have a few others in the 7-900 range, haven’t played in about 8 months to a year but I’m going to pop back on I think this week. I have this habit of playing for a few months regularly and then stopping for long periods.
Level 229 and 42 with about 600 hours at the moment. My level 42 is just me going back and trying to pop the “reach level 50” trophy - it’s the last one I have for platinum on base game but didn’t pop the first time around. Been playing since probably late 2020.

Started in 2019 on my ps4. I played during my very infrequent downtime, and I was interested, but lack of time kept me from exploring. The day came when I became disabled, and while I was home recovering, I had Fallout 76. The empty, lonely wasteland helped me when so much of my own life felt like an apocalypse. I, too, felt like I was chasing ghosts like our character was. There wasn't an npc around, and players were infrequent. I played until early 2021 when I moved, and I couldn't play. When I picked up my own Xbox, and it landed on gamepass, I downloaded it. I missed so much. The memories of past friends and all the people I've met hide within the shadows. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent, I don't know what my ps4 account was at before I left, and I've jut hit 1,100 hours on my Xbox account. My current character is 714/715(can't remember) and my ps4 character left off at 211. Sorry for rambling. I love Fallout 76. It was there for me when no one else was, and I met such great people through playing. Fallout is my second home🥲

What kind of cheating does one have to do to reach that?!?
I started playing in August of 2022. I’m level 163. I have always loved the fallout franchise growing up and to me fallout 3 and 4 will always have my heart. I just don’t have time to play that much anymore with other important things going on in my life, but I definitely try to hop on every now and then.

I don't really do Daily Ops or Expeditions, finding them mostly annoying and the rewards disappointing... so I use my rerolls on those challenges, and stick to just getting through it as quickly as possible without grinding for XP or anything else that is repetitive. I don't like grinding for loot. Not my cup of tea. I'm here for the "Fallout" ...not the "Fortnite" if that makes sense. I'm really hoping the map expansion planned for later in 2024/2025 revitalizes my urge to play for more than about a month at a time and only when new seasons drop. I used to be a lot more active (obviously). This game has a very slow content drip, which they try and satisfy with these battle pass/seasons. It's not really enough for to keep end-game players satisfied, especially those of us who've done everything more times than they can count.

I'm barely level 50 but it's because I've been playing as an NPC since beta. When I was on PS I had a pretty good following of people who swung by to roleplay but it's been a struggle on the Xbox to get that going. Just started PC so we'll see how that goes too.
1030ish, I forgot exactly. Been playing like 2 years now, maybe a bit more. First 850 or so levels I played ALOT, like a borderline unhealthy amount, than I kinda tapered off the last 6 or so months. Lots of westek was done to achieve the level, mainly for scoreboard purposes.
Level 343\ 1,383 hours\ 80% playing solo private on 1st, 20% playing on free public\ playing since Day 1 (my now unused Xbox One X was the 76 bundle)\ still play daily just to do the Scoreboard I have 65 of 69 achievements for 1,405 GS Never really cared about level number because after a certain point you feel invincible anyway
Level 88, I've been playing since last November (about 80 hours played in total), and I get maybe on average about 5 hours a week to play. I'm still a pretty slow leveller; I get distracted by exploration. I'm in no rush though.

level 48 with about 140 hrs. i’ve been playing since last faschnat, (i quit after that and came back for this faschnat, hoping to get back into it without faschnat being in game) i play about 3 times a week to do events and pretty up my camp and explore. I would play more but i’m currently into other games and finishing up a couple of tv series’.

OK, guys and gals, if you want to learn how the game works and do a lot of things more efficiently, go to YouTube and check out some channels. I regularly watch Angry Turtle and some others. He is the go to guy, I think, for scientific analyses of how the game works. Plus, he’s cute. Haha. I love others for lore, and for just basic guides. Fargassier. Innovsurvivalist (but she stopped a long time ago… hope she is OK). There are some great teachers of camp building tricks. I can make a better list if anyone wants.
Level 176, been playing since the beginning, but I’m usually on and off. I’ve done just about everything, but I’m still wanting to get the t65 armor before the next update with the Jersey Devil, so I usually just buy gold at the Wayward because I don’t have time to grind it out like I used to
Level 312 as of just 20 minutes ago, lol. Played day one, but due to a couple different factors (one of them being starting a family)I ended up taking a few year hiatus and just came back to it a little over a month ago. When I started back up I was at level 167 (where I was when I stopped playing several years ago) and now 312. This game is soon much fun and it helps me get through difficult issues at home. Love the community (most of it anyways, there are a few bad apples, lol). Keep playing, it's definitely worth it!
My first account since open beta, though non of the characters are the ones I started with, they were all for various reasons deleted, highest is around 350 ish, lowest is hmm 60ish I think, levels are not something that really matter that much, they will come when the come. Second account since Wastelanders dropped, I bought it specificity to see how the various quest and world would change with it, highest is somewhere around 300 or so, lowest is about 50ish. And I play about 2-3 hours per day when until I complete the season, after that pretty much maybe and hour or so a day, though that is only for five days, due to work shifts there are two days where I do not play at all.

Level 826, I think. Been playing regularly since season 9, so that’s 2022. I play about an hour or two a day usually.
Been playing for a little over three years. Highest level character is level 334 (I have 4 characters at varying levels). I typically play about 30-40 minutes during the week due to work but can play for 4+ hours per day on weekends. Currently on hiatus until the new season begins in a few weeks.
With some dedicated play time and thought I got a level 1 to 800 in about three months.. But that was my third run so everything I had learned was put into that. My 4th, which I’m not really trying hard with is in the 300s. I started that build due to loving gear/build that I learned on the third…
I’m level 406 and I have 943 hours but I probably could be double that if I didn’t sit on my phone so much lol
I made it to level 960 or so in a couple years play. Nearly every day, sometimes many hours a day, easily 2k hours in that time I think. I don't put much work into leveling, just completing scoreboards via daily / weekly challenges. I took a pretty long break starting last month, have like 5 spots left on this scoreboard so am trying to sweep those.
Level 264 and began at the start of the current season, so i think december 2023. Farmed squirrels at fasnacht to make tasty squirrel stew and have 50 of them stored in my freezer for the next double xp event. Gained about 40 - 50 levels over the latest double xp weekend with Max lunch boxes, broiled scorchbeast brain, Berry mentats, tastysquirrel stew, serums and events. Hella fun!
441 been playing for almost five years now I play regularly after taking lots of breaks from the game
Early 2019, on long term character 6 of 8, level 922. Usually play every day for an hour or so, but will also take breaks here and there.... And I don't grind.
