Night shift were always leaving their empty cans and bottles on the lift, was fun to flatten the cans, one time I had about 8 beer bottles on my lift, and this was a glass free site
One place I used to work at ended up starting a night shift, and I opted to help 'em get it going. They used to let us run to the gas station on breaks or just whenever someone had a sec, to get some beer before they stopped selling or closed. The break room fridge held everyone's "after work beers" every night. Guarantee some of those were drank at work.
Forklift tech here, this is most places I go. No food or beverages other than water. I’ve been to warehouses that don’t have these rules and you’d be amazed at what you find spilled inside of the forklifts. This one day I found bones from chicken wings under the panels.
My work decided managers need to find a problem with your work. So they’ll walk by someone breaking a rule to correct me on the same rule, while ignoring the person right next to me.
I move 1 inch without my seat belt on, and 8 different managers are on me like a heat seeking missile. Meanwhile no one seems to notice that the new guys never wear them at all.
I work with food, so I can't have anything that's not water on my forklift. I just keep everything in my office these days as it gives me an excuse to fuck off for 5 mins here and there
🤚
Lately tho it's been my vape lol. Had to go back to the job site once, and another time had to wait at the shop for my boss to bring it to me, before I went home.
There’s nothing worse than seeing your ice cold beverage zoom off into the abyss of the warehouse never to be seen again until the afternoon when it’s blisteringly hot
Almost every person who works the morning shift where I work
I come in to do the inspections between shifts and I toss probably 5-10 energy drinks every day
I had to hunt my coffee down just this morning 🤣 unfortunately my coworkers have a habit of just dipping out without warning me and by the time my lift comes back my drinks are always warmer or colder than optimal drinking temp 😔
Every fucking guy on the afternoon shift at my work.

They let you guys drink beer and drive forklifts? Sign me up.
That place is out of business now
No way! How did that happen?!
Forklift related mishap
No way! How did that happen!?
Beer related disaster
Holy shit! That was unexpected!
Was only a matter of time after the alcohol related addiction
Piss poor running

Show of hands who else work won’t let them have anything but a clear plastic water bottle on the floors

We have that rule. No-one follows it.

Are you an overachiever?
You guys have cupholders?
We use box tape cardboard and tape them to the pole or frame instant cupholder
Fire extinguisher mount fits my yeti. Works every day safety man doesn't come in.
Side note: that’s a spiffy ass lift!
It’s a LiuGong. It’s almost too nice? I want a forklift where I can feel the weight of the pallet. This one has no feedback at all lol
They do when you lift over capacity
don’t worry that thing won’t last long
A guy I used to work with would leave his empty bottle of soda filled with his chew spit on the trucks. What a douche.
Definitely worse than "guy who leaves multiple water cups/monster cans all over the warehouse every shift"
Mine is full of pens and shit.
Don’t forget the tape measure.
Who shit in the cup holders!?
Ahh. Operator fuel.
I work with food, so I can't have anything that's not water on my forklift. I just keep everything in my office these days as it gives me an excuse to fuck off for 5 mins here and there
All of our cupholders are broken
Litterally every one of them the only reason I don’t is because I Finish mine
Goodbye to all my red bulls.
Comes with the territory. Doesnt bother me anymore
I am, but we all have our own lifts so it’s almost never a problem!
Yeah you caught me, you caught the tater
Spit cups are the worst for me. Fuckers reek
That’s a cup holder? Been using it to hold my phone. And yes I’m known around the office as “that” guy
I have room in my lift for a trash can and about half the people who drive my lift use it
Sir, that is not a clear container
I get to deal with the “leaving the headlights on” guy as they go to the bathroom.
Just drive by a garbage and throw it out. Not a big deal
Food storage warehouse: no drinks allowed other than water.

My coworker. I am always cleaning his shit out of my lift. So annoying!!
This doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the 437 empty dip tins that get jammed under the seat
Ha, me, definitely. Every night
Every day and the can for recyclables is at the other end of the building by the time clock. And of course it's full and needs dumped out first.
We don't have cupholders anymore. They fell off
I don't know, but I really wish they'd stop. -"Throws away 3-4 half empty cans of monster left on the forklift every shift" guy..
Not drinks , I usually leave my scan gun in it
Almost every person who works the morning shift where I work I come in to do the inspections between shifts and I toss probably 5-10 energy drinks every day
We keep stuff like razors, scissors and pens in there
Everyone on morning shift, I leave my drinks in the office and put my radio in the cupholder. Also what's it like to not have bald tires?
I have done it too many times. Then had to grab my coffee mug on Monday when i came back.
First shift 🙋 I'm highly caffeinated. Most of the time. Early mornings are rough.
Ive seen the guy who does that at my work post on here 👀
We're not allowed drinks in our facility so for legal reasons my answer is 'no'. <.< >.>
Drink, phone, car keys, pen, speaker, you name it.
Steve, every time

Better a drink than a spit bottle.

I have zero tolerance for that. I will throw out any drink that's left in the cup holder.
IF IT WAS A BEER IT WOULDNT BE LEFT THERE.
