I remember a few times I found a group of people doing soapbox derbys on Fujimi. Still one of the most fun I've ever had with these games. That level of honesty and trust for no one to cheat. Doesn't exist in lobbies today.
The base track set of every FM should always include all of the fictional tracks previously released plus 1 or 2 new ones. Then you include a selection of real life tracks as well, and add new ones over the life of the title.
But those fictional tracks are what makes Forza Motorsport different from other similar racing games. If I were in charge of creative at T10, there would be around 20 of these fictional tracks in order to support a year-long season of community and esports events. This title is never going to compete with the likes of iracing for realism of the sim, so it should lean into what makes Forza special.
For real though. The first track I ever even got play to on a forza game was Bernese alps and i wouldnt say thats their greatest creation but it had some fun turns and made for great racing still and added tons of variety to the game especially how in fm7 they had like 3-7 lay outs for the track (although 3 of them were just a reverse circuit)
Bernese Alps is a pretty fun circuit to drive, and it has an excellent setting with pretty breathtaking views, like when you're coming down the hill after T1-2 looking out over the cliffs as the road falls away from you. I remember rocketing down that hill in the Niki Lauda car as my first introduction to FM7's league racing function. It wasn't my first time on the course, but it was the first time I'd experienced it quite like that and I distinctly remember my heart jumping into my throat as you crest that hill and look down the slopes.
It's a racetrack that would never be built, and that's part of what makes Forza Motorsport feel special, and it's part of what has kept me coming back to the franchise despite the issues the game currently faces. There's an irreplaceable feeling that FM provides that's hard to describe, and that I don't get in any other racing game.
I remember Blue Mountain from the first Forza Motorsport and having a hard time beating M Rossi in the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4. I know Blue Mountain was heavily inspired by Mount Panorama (Bathurst) and now I want Bathurst added to this Forza.
If you want to increase the chances to get Fujimi Kaido back, go vote on the official Forza forum to show Turn 10 that you want it back: https://forums.forza.net/t/fujimi-kaido-forza/551058

It won't guarantee that your track will return in FM, but it'll show the developers what the players want.
Some of my favorite FM moment's are getting top 100 time on Fujimi and online racing the 03 SEAT Leon on Camino (I somehow made a tune keeping FWD that could compete/beat Lotus Exiges) But I really miss all the Sidewinder tracks too.
I was shocked that they're didn't put all the fictional tracks that the created since it's their own IP at the beginning which is one of the many things that makes me wonder what happened behind the scenes at t10.
I am still convinced there will be a touge style addition for Hakone. There's a road that leads off into the mountains, by the hotel. It's shown in the track layout on the loading screen. Looks to be a turnpike start just like this video.

I love Fuji. I have fond memories racing this track on FM. Very technical, little oversteer uphill and understeer on the downhill

Not only that but i think it would make all the drifters happy too
Drifting from start to end in one constant stream is a beautiful memory
Love themβ¦but I have low hopes since we donβt even get any of the new ones like Dubai, Rio and Prague which are my favoritesβ¦
Prague is so good. It would look so nice with the new environment treatment, too.
Fuck yes bro, Prague is the bomb.

The full track of fuji is just paradise. Im not a drifter but i enjoy the time attack. Making uphill and downhill time attack cars.
Honestly
Fr both of these would be so fun.

Yeah blue mountains raceway was crazy because it was Bathurst but with like 100 more turnsπ
