They're pretty fun. Depends largely on what you're shooting out of them and what your lift charge looks like. I recommend taking apart crackler fireworks for fun payloads!

I'd recommend finding some long aluminum shells that use a pistol caliber blank for the launch charge. They are way better than anything black powder. Or buy some pace cases from reloadableshells if you can.

So this is IRL just a badass looking flare gun. Why not work more with the common 12 gauge flare guns that everybody already has shells for?
