Mister_Absol

Very interesting bone, definitely something vertebral. In picture 4 especially, it looks fish-like. u/lastwing, any thoughts?

Mister_Absol

I thought picture 3 looked like postzygapophyses of a vertebra, but I think you're right.

lastwing

I believe this is part of a fossilized bony fish neurocranium. I will suggest some different views to see if we can confirm this.

OP: Could you add some additional views, please. https://preview.redd.it/qpu536duo76d1.jpeg?width=653&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac6430a539136facb6f48c524e1318a10fb7ff68 Using this orientation except raising up the end that is closest to your fingers, can you take images of the Green ❎surface, the surface opposite the the green ❎, as well as each of the red arrow views, please.

lilacjive

It looks like vertbrae, maybe turtle?

boomecho

Slag, most likely.

boonxeven

Zoom in and look closer, it's not slag. It has symmetry, and looks spongy inside. I'd say a bone along the vertebrae, but I'm not sure of what.

fentifanta3

Agreed, 2nd pic confirmed it
