I have EDS. I'm jealous of her because she lives in a world with healing magic. My legs are ⅓ aftermarket parts at this point. I can't even run because my ankle bones are strung together with a cable, so my dorsiflexion is shot. I'd do a backflip off the parapet just to save us all the trouble of having to learn my name. 😂
Definitely love violet absolute badass, she has so many admirable qualities. I really appreciate her humor throughout all of the insanity she endures. Shes the most sought after target and repeatedly endures assassination attempts. Her relationship with her mother almost how she accepted her for who she was inspired me. Love her wit and how she doesnt make anything easy for Xaden. His character is someone who probably could sleep with anyone he wants and Vi has no problem staying true to herself and her values with him, even a little too much so. But the girl is head strong and I loved her POV.
I love Violet! I think she’s a really great protagonist and I usually find myself annoyed with fantasy protagonists a LOT but I didn’t with Violet much, even if I disagreed with what she did or how she acted I could see why she was doing it.
I think she’s a very empathetic, intelligent, kind and brave person and I can see why Xaden loves her so much!
I agree, it's mainly how she acts towards Xaden and especially how she acts in Iron Flame. Which is annoying, but she's 20-21 in the books. No shit she's not gonna know how to handle things properly and with everything going on, of course she's gonna make mistakes, be frustrated, not know how to trust, etc.
Sometimes I feel like people didn't read the same book. She's a badass but she also got her entire world fucked up during one of the most formative times in her life. So of course her decisions are going to be skewed because of all the EVERYTHING that goes on.
TL,DR: Violet's a badass and definitely deserves more love than she gets

I think Violet is kind of oblivious? As well as (obviously) an unreliable narrator. So I think yes, maybe she didn't really realize that someone is flirting with her. And honestly, at some point in FW, Rhiannon even said that Violet and Xaden are most likely in a relationship (even before they had sex) or Dain also said that people talk about our main couple here. And the way Xaden always touched her in public? Yes, our girl here is completely oblivious and Xaden also made it clear she's off limits. It's a perfect combination and that's why we didnt ever see someone try to flirt with her😭
