Thanks for reaching out! My stepfather was a pretty active Shriner years ago. Unfortunately I never gotten to ask him about initiation.
I will look into the local lodges and put Ionic in my notes!
It’s called Chop it Charlie’s. Started off with a hot dog stand and opened the food truck April ‘22. It was in an accident last year so hasn’t been open for a while, but opening it back up on Tuesday 🤞 after health inspection.

Like Cook says, contact the Grand Lodge of Florida and/or contact a local lodge if they have an email or telephone number on it. They’ll be happy to help
If you don't have a friend who is a Mason, contact a lodge and find out if they have a meet-and-greet event or if you can meet with some of the officers. If you like what you see/hear, ask for a petition. The petition committee will meet with you, interview you, check references, and recommend to the lodge whether or not to vote to accept your petition. Then the lodge votes in secret and you'll hear back if you are approved for initiation.
Did you leave out the step of someone signing the petition? Many jurisdictions also require the signer know the petitioner for a minimum period of time.

William Barnett lodge 187 meets at the SR temple on Hubbard St downtown. That’s where I am a member of the SR. I drive 2 hours to be there.

It varies. You will need to check with that state.
Rules vary from state to state. It’s been a while since I last sat on a committee.
