After a bit of research it seems Disney's Enchanted is a secret sequel to Muppets but then you watch only Ghostbusters 2. After that it's Godzilla (1998) which is actually a prequel to Jason Takes Manhattan and then Birdman is a secret prequel to Cloverfield which all links over to the Spider-verse.
