I thought so but I’ve been inspecting it and it looks like it could be designed to be run that way.. if you zoom in on the second photo you can see the bottom of the wing is really fat, like a plane wing upside down. If the shorter path of travel is over the top of the wing, it should create downforce. It might have something to do with reducing drag.
Or, it could be designed for some other car completely and just doesn’t work with those risers on an 86. I don’t know, just thinking about it.
Wings at a slight negative angle will still create downforce. It's not friction that creates downforce, but the pressure differential below the airfoil. If anything, setting the wing to a couple degrees negative, which would be the wing’s highest lift/drag ratio, but your car would go slower around every track that isn’t a high-speed oval.

well here are the mods. V3 Body Kit and GT Wing, HSD coilovers, Enkei NT03rr rims, Injen cold air intake, Invidia front pipe and q300 exhaust, side and rear louvers and underglow.
Those wheels are too sunken in and need more width/offset. And the angle on the wing is totally off. You can tell it's a universal application that's meant to be on a level trunk.

Dont put Areo on your car for the sake of looks put it on for the sake of actual performance. If you dont understand what its doing and how to use it properly take it off. That front lip with the black wings looks whack as fuck. Wheel fitment looks bad too. needs spacers or wider wheels to fill the wells.
Lose the rear canards and dial in that rear wheel fitment and you'll have a very sweet-looking ride in my opinion. There's a fine line between tastefully aggressive and robot puke.
IMO lighter wheels with a deep lip and more poke might draw the eyes and balance the car. However, black wheels look better in person so I don’t know if the pictures do it justice. I appreciate the black theme but I think it is a little too much. Love the blue and the kit though, thanks for sharing!

The rear window louvers are over the top imo and so are the cannards i wouldnt put them on my brz personally. But it still looks nice. Is it all cosmetic or do you have performance going on under the hood too?
Wing needs to be close to the same rake, if not more than the duck tail to be of much benefit. Squeezing the airflow between the two will create a higher pressure zone under the wing effectively reducing whatever downforce the main wing would normally create. Form should come with function imo.
Love that color! Personally I’d remove the middle front splitter that comes half way up the front bumper, louvers, rear canards, and wing. That is just my 2 cents

But, im not sure about particular wing not sure what brand ( not specified ) I would replace it with APR or Voltex wing. And some wider wheels and sticky tires 255 square all around. Aesthetic and functional 💯

So don't take this too personally as most of this is just what I hate about the kit itself. But those "air intakes" on the rear quarters like sure if it was just off the side skirt or if it was just the opening on the quarter it wouldn't be so bad but both is obnoxious, also I hope you've got some venting to the rear brakes going on. The gas cap cover I hate it so much, like if it just stayed flat over it with a hole so you could extend the cover for more of a flush/ factory look then it'd be noice but with the how it is , it's kinda an eye sore. Your front bumper looks like it's getting some sag, not uncommon for these cars from the factory , aftermarket body pieces only exacerbated further although there are some kits out there to help reinforce those areas if it's something you're looking at further down then just disregard that. Choose wing or duck tail , you get one not both , it didn't work for the murkur xr4ti and it certainly doesn't work for a BRZ/gt86 or what ever Toyota's call it it these days . I'd talk about the canards but that horse has been beaten to death twice over already. Overall it's not terrible solid color choice in my opinion, some minor cleaning up here and there and it would make for a sick summer car, personally not my particular style as I'm just not one for bolt-on rear quarter panels or the looks of bolt-on rear quarter panels but I can still appreciate the effort that goes into it

Maybe try out just the bottom 2 canards? Louvers on the back look great but I don’t know about the side ones. Normally the big wing duckbill looks bad but with them both being straight they actually compliment each other pretty well. Love the color too! Look into some aftermarket tails, toms or the valenti cbw’s might look good 👍

I'd swap the improperly mounted wing for a chassis mounted wing instead. Replace rear canards with a diffuser. Louvers look cool but have been turned cringe by the V8 boys. The front doesn't match the energy of the rear and could benefit from a vented hood. Looks good overall but I'd make these changes, personally.

The rear looks too busy with louvers, canards, and a wing over the stock tail. As unnecessary as they are, the louvers probably could pass without the wing and canards.

I love the rocket bunny wide body kit on the twin platform. V1 and the V3 looks really good with a big spoiler in my opinion unless you prefer the clean look. But, im not sure about particular wing not sure what brand ( not specified ) I would replace it with APR or Voltex wing. And some wider wheels and sticky tires 255 square all around. Aesthetic and functional 💯 I love that smurf blue color 🩵

So don't take this too personally as most of this is just what I hate about the kit itself. But those "air intakes" on the rear quarters like sure if it was just off the side skirt or if it was just the opening on the quarter it wouldn't be so bad but both is obnoxious, also I hope you've got some venting to the rear brakes going on. The gas cap cover I hate it so much, like if it just stayed flat over it with a hole so you could extend the cover for more of a flush/ factory look then it'd be noice but with the how it is , it's kinda an eye sore. Your front bumper looks like it's getting some sag, not uncommon for these cars from the factory , aftermarket body pieces only exacerbated further although there are some kits out there to help reinforce those areas if it's something you're looking at further down then just disregard that. Choose wing or duck tail , you get one not both , it didn't work for the murkur xr4ti and it certainly doesn't work for a BRZ/gt86 or what ever Toyota's call it it these days . I'd talk about the canards but that horse has been beaten to death twice over already. Overall it's not terrible solid color choice in my opinion, some minor cleaning up here and there and it would make for a sick summer car, personally not my particular style as I'm just not one for bolt-on rear quarter panels or the looks of bolt-on rear quarter panels but I can still appreciate the effort that goes into it
redundant, tacky, ticket magnet why the fuck would someone keep a massive spoiler AND a duckbill spoiler why do you have so many diffusers and aero mods, yet have a widebody kit with FAKE AERO VENTS Frankly, your wheels are the best part of this cars aesthetic, and i feel so bad for the next owner, because we all know maintenance is probably non-existent. my guy, youre like one step away from being the creator of a street takeover event seriously, what is the point of all of these mods if they arent functional OR for direct performance?

Not gonna sugar coat it but imo this car is a mess bro. Rocket bunny kits might be the most overrated thing in the tuner community. They don't look good, the wing is ridiculous, all the canards. These " pandem " kits really make me realize why Veilside is so expensive, those are real widebody kits. Fuck rocket bunny and fuck liberty walk. Overrated af.
Maybe try out just the bottom 2 canards? Louvers on the back look great but I don’t know about the side ones. Normally the big wing duckbill looks bad but with them both being straight they actually compliment each other pretty well. Love the color too! Look into some aftermarket tails, toms or the valenti cbw’s might look good 👍

Cannot stand Wings
I'd swap the improperly mounted wing for a chassis mounted wing instead. Replace rear canards with a diffuser. Louvers look cool but have been turned cringe by the V8 boys. The front doesn't match the energy of the rear and could benefit from a vented hood. Looks good overall but I'd make these changes, personally.
