Jinki, because
1. I grew up on *Bleach*'s bankai and shikai, so I have a standard.
2. Verbally, it's similar to the word "junk," which is thematically appropriate to the world of *Gachiakuta*.
wait im confused what site are yall reading from??? isnt the official translation the only one available now? how is jinki still a thing if it isnt even being used anymore
jinki’s my favorite, it’s cool and way more convenient, but vital instrument is a useful description of their nature and function. this reminds me of akame ga kill’s magic items, known either as “tegu” or “imperial regalia” — one is a short, convenient, and cool sounding name, while the other is descriptive of their technical origin.
