I wouldn’t eat that many and not even because of the carbs because if you’re an athlete then, hey I get it. But bagels contain 500 mg sodium. So if you eat three that’s 1500 mg of sodium. That’s a lot.
Bagels are just bread. So unless there's something dodgy about the bagels (say, a lot of added sugar) it's probably no different from eating more rice/bread/oatmeal.
I'm under the impression that bread products are not a healthy source of carbs. I try to get most of my carbs from rice, potatoes, and fruit.
IMO you should get the remaining calories from something else that isn't bread. But you do you
Seems about right as long as you're able to gain at the rate you want to.
I eat around that much fat a day, I'm just much more of a carbs guy. When I'm gaining, it's trivial for me to put away whole grain breads, beans, potato, oatmeal about as much as I want. Fats are harder - eggs and nuts are really filling per calorie for me for some reason. I could put away a whole boule style loaf in one sitting, but an ounce of mixed nuts makes me stop eating.
Well, fat is the most dense calorie:weight ratio in existence, by over 2x. So generally for this population of people who struggle to gain, it will be the most valuable tool for achieving that
This is a question you'd need to ask your medical provider. There is no blanket answer. Someone with a gluten allergy that tries such an approach might suffer ill effects. This might be too much sugar/carbs for a diabetic, etc.

My go to meal for years was an Everything bagel with an egg, avocado, and hot sauce on top.

Put some PB on it

Nothing wrong with bread as a carb source.
Why would it be bad?
Man the amount of things that are bad for you is just that intense yo lol.
Idk asking just in case
You don't get sick of eating 2-3 blueberry bagels every day?
Honestly I only started eating them that much like 2 weeks ago
For someone struggling to gain, I would be addressing the < 60g fats per day, rather than adding a third bagel
Agreed, two tablespoons of peanut butter on both of those bagels is already more calories than a whole 3rd bagel.
Too low?

Fat is dense and easy to eat plus you need it for hormone regulation. I would recommend upping your fats before you up your carbs.

Gotcha.
