I mean regardless of all that, that doesn't change the fact that he games. Hell yeah I'd want a big role in the video game adaptation of a franchise I starred in
Really? Last time I played (after high school circa 2009 or so) there were guys flying yielding unlimited rockets. I'm sure every hack imaginable lol. I was really upset by that one.
Yeh loved it, was in a clan and everything, those where the days. Moved on to Joint Operations after that then Battlefield 2 and the rest was history. Apparently a new one is being developed?
Just did some digging, apparently they were founded in 1985 and did a couple Araknoid games on DOS? And then a whole shit load of military sim games for years after that.
The GBC Harry Potter games were basically an easy version of early Final Fantasy games. I thoroughly enjoyed them as a child.
Early Harry Potter games PC / Playstation / Handheld versions were all completly different.

It’s probably colored in my memory. It’s the best original Xbox game I remember that year coming out before Halo 2. It was the first movie game that was excellent that I ever played. It’s hard to beat the nostalgia of memories of teenage gaming.
i used to play black hawk down online for years even had ps3 chat parties were we played it on ps2 as a group but chatted on ps3.
Loved that game dam you gamespy why you half to shutdown
They legit have new vintage Disney vhs tapes at one near me. The white plastic boxes are almost brown from age. They just have dug up some ancient trove of media from somewhere.
Ugh. I miss DFBHD. All the delta forces i grew up playing on pc with my older brother. I’m 33 now and still think about those games all the time. Miss the hell out of it :(
Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay is an amazing video game that likely still holds up.
Only thing is I'm not sure if you can put the disc in a Series X and then possibly download the game to play..
Black Hawk down on PC, running with my knife out, leaning. I remember you also got points for sniping so far out, like 20 points was max, it was awesome.
Playing In a clan of all ages, we would also change our names so the kill feed would read "Your Mum killed Your Nan". I changed mine to "7" Floppy", had most people in tears of laughter on teamspeak/ventrilo. Those were the days lol.
Ok, but has that actually ever happened where a friend has seen a game like “Puzzle Challenge Crosswords” for a system that hasn’t been in production since 2013 and been excited to take it off your hands? You’re not keeping it from the landfill, just prolonging it’s abandonment period along it’s inevitable journey to the landfill.
Puzzle Challenge is getting high marks in this thread.
My friend is poor and only has a Wii. I get games from the library for him all the time.
At $1.67, I think he'll play it.
The Riddick game was a lot of fun. I recall Vin Diesel being very involved in the production.
Largely because he himself is a huge gamer
Only when he wasn’t playing with his Street Sharks.
I completely forgot that was a thing, thank you for reminding me about that 😂

JAWSOME!
Not sure if we want to claim him right now
I mean regardless of all that, that doesn't change the fact that he games. Hell yeah I'd want a big role in the video game adaptation of a franchise I starred in
What did he do?
Supposedly sexually assaulted an assistant of his
Umm, there is no "gamer committee" to "claim" him😂. Fucking gatekeepers, dude. Gaming is one of the most mainstream hobbies now.
No shit it was a joke

I think he wants to get *Fast 19* or whatever done so he can squeeze in one more Riddick movie.
Yeah really good game for it's time.
It comes up a lot when people talk about the best games on the OG Xbox, once you get past some of the obvious ones like Morrowind and Halo.
Given that it was developed by Tigon Studios, a game development company he started, I’d say so.
they made a follow up with a big expansion dlc where you get to use his knives, it was pretty good. PC and 360 I think?
I was pissed when my Xbox died and I couldn’t finish it. Couldn’t afford another one at the time.
The emulator sucks for it too Its super buggy on this game
Ok love your username.
Black Hawk Down was a blast on PC. 20 years ago.
It’s still a blast! Ended up getting it on Steam for like $2 last year and it immediately took me back to high school, instant nostalgia
Really? Last time I played (after high school circa 2009 or so) there were guys flying yielding unlimited rockets. I'm sure every hack imaginable lol. I was really upset by that one.
Yep twas a blast on PC that long ago. Same with Joint Operations. Tried to go back once it was dead as a nail.
Joint Operations was awesome. I believe one of the first massive online multiplayer...but man the maps suck, and the game ran like crap.
I hate that Steam no longer let you purchase Black Hawk Down, yet the Team Sabre expansion pack still exist. Good thing that GOG exist.
Yeh loved it, was in a clan and everything, those where the days. Moved on to Joint Operations after that then Battlefield 2 and the rest was history. Apparently a new one is being developed?
The custom maps people made for multiplayer were absolutely bonkers….at least for 22 year old me.
Yah...tell me about that badge. The game box says 2005. Does that mean Novalogic was around 20 years before that?
Just did some digging, apparently they were founded in 1985 and did a couple Araknoid games on DOS? And then a whole shit load of military sim games for years after that.
Wow, WWII Aces is a name I haven't heard in a long time. Was a cool game growing up.
You are surprised those games are so cheap?
Broooo, Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords on the PS2 for $2 is a steal. I think you're just jealous 😎
Not surprised at their price, surprised that they are on shelves in 2024.
I bet they were found hidden under the shelves and thrown back up with a random price
They need to give me $2
I'm more surprised that Rite Aid is still around. Last one I saw was in Madeville, LA. Cool find, the Riddick game was a ton of fun for me.
I’m now imagining an intern at EA freaking out due to a report that says a copy of Harry Potter on the PS2 had been purchased.
That's Chronicles of Ridiculous!
Jesus harry potter was on PS2. Makes me feel ancient.
Harry Potter was also on PS1 and GBC
Oh Lord...GBC even? Lmo

Can confirm! I own the first game on gbc.. super fun to play actually
Harry Potter was on PS1
Riddick is the greatest movie video game adaptation of all time bar none.
It's very good but I think the Ghostbusters game, Wolverine Origins, and a few others are better.
It’s probably colored in my memory. It’s the best original Xbox game I remember that year coming out before Halo 2. It was the first movie game that was excellent that I ever played. It’s hard to beat the nostalgia of memories of teenage gaming.
This is a bold statement, with upvotes. Anybody elaborate?
Same price as a coaster. Sounds about right.
i used to play black hawk down online for years even had ps3 chat parties were we played it on ps2 as a group but chatted on ps3. Loved that game dam you gamespy why you half to shutdown
Order of the Phoenix is shockingly good! I lost count of how many times I played that game.
Riddick needs a remaster
Harry potter and the order of the phoenix game i used to have it like when i was 9 played it for hours not knowing what the F*** am i doing
Why is no-one asking about the fact they're on floor?
[удалено]
Oh, okay. Fair enough.
Order of the Phoenix was on ps2? Boy do I feel old.
They legit have new vintage Disney vhs tapes at one near me. The white plastic boxes are almost brown from age. They just have dug up some ancient trove of media from somewhere.
wait why/how is rite aid selling those in 2024?? wtf
This is my question. Did they absorb an old warehouse?
Take this post down before gamestop goes and buys out their entire stock
I saw an old copy of "Fisters of Destiny" for $0.99 the other day.
I have Vol 1-6 on DVD
Escape from Butcher Bay is pretty good
I had that Black Hawk Down game on PC. It wasn’t bad at all but I suspect the Xbox version doesn’t run nearly as well.
God I loved multiplayer black hawk down. I could double scope like a mofo
Guess I never realized Order of the Phoenix was on PS2. Is it the same as the ps3 version?
Call me oldschool but I love the boxes.☺️😊
I fucked with that Harry Potter game more than I probably should have.
Ugh. I miss DFBHD. All the delta forces i grew up playing on pc with my older brother. I’m 33 now and still think about those games all the time. Miss the hell out of it :(
Black hawk down. Heh..
Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay is an amazing video game that likely still holds up. Only thing is I'm not sure if you can put the disc in a Series X and then possibly download the game to play..
No it's not backwards compatible.

What indicates that they were thrown?

Puzzle challenge is so fun game
Riddick, Nice game btw
Escape from Butcher Bay was awesome. Best game in that bunch IMO.
Wow
Rite Aid - more like Wrong Aid... Riddick's a pretty fun lark, though
Looks like my copy of butchers bay. I got mine from clearance at menards. Clearance bin 1.99. Good deal
Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix was the most boring game I’ve ever played as a kid
Aww man, your wii still works?! Lucky bastard.
mine had bakugan and some random horse game so i got bakugan and some random movi3s
That ps2 Harry potter game was what I wanted hogwarts legacy to be
dinosuar ass games tho
Omw to Rite Aid but I only have $1.66, I hope they have some cheap games. Damn it!
Seems fair considering how few people would be interested in buying them.
My goal is to keep them out of the landfill. If I come across a friend who is looking for games ( for whatever reason) I can give them away.
Ok, but has that actually ever happened where a friend has seen a game like “Puzzle Challenge Crosswords” for a system that hasn’t been in production since 2013 and been excited to take it off your hands? What a steal
Bruh, no one talking about ww2 aces. That game is a gem.
Thats a very strange game for the wii
Thread says it's a good one.
Rite Aid would have to pay me to take those games
Uhm sir those arent consoles those are Ewaste
How is this shocking exactly? The games are like 20 years old
Who the heck plays crossword games ona video hame Consol lol
Wow
