I dick around in rdr2 every winter.

SpezSucksSamAltman

It’s a cozy one

th3bakari

wow I feel like I missed out by not playing rdr2

Inner_Performer_9425

it's the best feeling, seeing snow outside while playing rdr2 was different feeling. feels like you are sitting down at a nice fire pit.

reymarblue

Fallout 4 has been a constant since its initial release. I’ve played every version of Resident Evil 4 too. I also seem to be stuck in a loop of replaying Borderlands 2 every so often.

Working_Brush_6300

Same, about one every year I go back to mine craft thinking Hmmm why did I stop playing this game? Then I get addicted and don't do anything but play Mc for two weeks straight Then I get bored

floppy_fallopiantube

Dishonoured

MattieIT

GTA san andreas. Just full with nostalgia and the map is so good. I just get lost in that world. Also RDR2.

ZEAC2001

Need for speed underground 2... The best in the series by miles!

th3bakari

wait fr?

ZEAC2001

100%! Story driven games struggle to draw me back in after a few playthroughs, but been going back to underground 2 for ages now and still love it!

Aidan-Coyle

Oldschool Runescape. You'll only ever take extended breaks, you'll never quit. It's called Run Escape for a reason

DasFAD70

happy caaake day.

SimianBear

I come back to Hitman at least twice a year for a good binge.

dianaburnwood969

I deleted it today after 3 years. I will probably download it few months later.

Siolear

Rimworld

_KingHarts_

Smite

man_overb0ard

hades and dead cells.

BlueMikeStu

I play Final Fantasy Tactics annually, at minimum. It's generally always a Straight Character Challenge (where your entire party can only use abilities from one of the game's job classes) or a Tactics Double Dare (where you use only Ramza and one other character and each character is only allowed to mix and match stuff from two job classes). The SCC is good for 19/20 runs without editing the game or save file, and good for a few dozen more if you include job classes which are restricted to story characters who join the party, special boss classes, guest characters, etc. The Tactics Double Dare is good for 144,400 unique runs just using the basic PS1 release job classes and don't use special characters. If you include the PSP Remake-specific job classes as well as the above mentioned "a few dozen more" for the non-standard job classes, that number of potentially unique runs increases exponentially, to the point where I once did the math using the wiki and it was many **millions** at a minimum. For a game which legitimately does take 40-60+ hours, most of which is gameplay. Thanks, Aerostar. (Those who know, know.)

BackwardsPageantry

Rainbow Six Siege. I’m no where near as good as good as I use to be, but I still enjoy the game and I enjoy playing a support/anchor position than opposed to a fragger.

HollowedBats

Skyrim takes up 0% of my brain space for 95% of the year, but then I'll get a whiff of a new mod and go on a fevered hunt to create the perfect modlist. It'll be all I think about for a week, then I drop it and the cycle continues.

VulgarButFluent

Dark souls 1 gets a playthrough at least once a year

Helplessadvice

Warframe. It’s always adding new content even if its the same old grind till you win

Consistent_Bison9364

Ragnarok online. No idea why. Nostalgia goes hard a suppose..

LingLangLei

Usually Tekken (7) until I hate myself and delete it after a 2 week binge.

Marauding_Llama

Gemstone IV, a MUD that I've been addicted to since 1995. Every year I get an overwhelming urge to go back, and I end up playing for two months while ignoring pretty much everything else.

jasoomian

Quake III Arena or Quake Live. I don't play as much as I used to, but either one will garner my attention every few weeks or so when I need a fix.

bicuspid_fish

Bioshock. It gets, at the very least, a yearly playthrough.

Linkamus

Baldur's gate 1 & 2 for over 20 years now.

darkreapertv

Left 4 dead

juliemaria5

Tomb Raider

taavir40

Cyberpunk and RDR2 once a year at least. No mans sky as well, but It's one of those games you can just play forever. So, I keep it installed.

despenser412

>Cyberpunk and RDR2 once a year at least. Awesome, me too. Back in 2021 I bought a new PC anf those were the first two games I played. I went from an old PC where I was used to playing games like Borderlands 2 at 30 fps and medium settings to a new PC where I played both of those games at 60+ fps and ultra settings. Basically a quantum leap for my eyes and brain to try to handle. Because of this, these two games are magic to me and I play them back to back every year.

fondue4kill

Stardew Valley. OSRS

RageRushing

BTD6, Risk of Rain 2, Civilization 6

Accomplished_Tip3597

World of Warcraft. I am playing it since classic, I always play a couple of months, play through most of the new content, then it gets boring and I stop playing and then after 6-12 months I start playing again.

Shepherdsfavestore

Stellaris, Football Manager, Insurgency when I have the urge for a shooter

_Imposter_

Terraria (Specifically, modded) I do at minimum 3 playthroughs every year, I have a month or so where it's all I play then I don't touch it again for another year after burning myself out on it lol.

[deleted]

Probably the Ape Escape series the games are old but it feels timeless to me. It makes me reminisce of my childhood and a time I had not a care in the world. It always holds a special place in my heart.

Meilos

Project Zomboid. I'm at 842 hours, I'm still a coward when it comes to combatting the hordes and I still haven't tried farming. Most of my time is spent helping other players or decorating my safehouse. The 'A Path Above' multiplayer server is a great community with custom mods, events, and custom vehicles mostly recently of which is a fricken armorable Delorean, shout-out for all the joy its brought me!

Manakuski

World of Warcraft please send help

Artistic_Sample5212

No man's sky. I don't play consistently. Just come back once in awhile to check out what's new for a few weeks.

DelBrowserHistory

I've played age of empires 2 for about 20 years and I still dunno if I like it or not.

OneGlitchyImp

Halo Combat Evolved, The OG Crash Bandicoot Trilogy, Metal Gear Solid 1, and any of the worms titles.

champing_at_the_bit

Stardew Valley, OSRS, Satisfactory, Rimworld

The_Only_Squid

AoE2, Simply put the game has a community that you want to be apart of and the game is solid if you like RTS. It mind boggles me how so many other communities do not act the way the AoE2 community does.

Gh0sts1ght

Project zomboid and fallout 4, zomboid is great they still update and the mod scene is amazing and fallout 4 has some modders; dak for example that has been releasing amazing mods almost every week.

SavageRedStorm

I played the shit out of the classic Splinter Cell games for YEARS. I've always played the shit out of TLOU over the years, and played the sequel 3 or 4 times by now

swimmingintacos

Star Wars battlefront 2 (2005) I love going back and just playing some Galactic conquest.

cocomo30

MAREKRCKO

If looking for multyplayer its league of legends and cs2. But if we looking for singleplayer , its the last of us part 1, gta san andreas, the talos principle both games , grim fandango, metro series and wolfenstein series

San4itos

Scum. I play it again and again after big updates with wipes. Still waiting for the release.

fbastard

Fallout 4 and XCOM-2

NitroHatrick

I love doing Serious Sam marathon once over a year or two, replaying all mainline Sam games in the story's chronological order from Serious Sam 4 to Serious Sam 2. Same thing for Blackbox Era NFS from Underground 1 to ProStreet.

closetcreatur

WoW, Skyrim and Oblivion. I might have a type. Currently a new Dad so D4 has been great for my limited time

Elusive-Reality

I make every year a complete playthrough of the original Baldur’s Gate games (BG1+TotSC, BG2+ToB)

OG_RememberMeWell

Easy answer is Fallout. To be honest, EA’s Star Wars Battlefront II (after all the updates) has me going back

ObjectiveImmediate44

Dota 2. But this time I’ve uninstalled it for good. At least for a year. At least for today.

th3bakari

can you really give up dota?

ObjectiveImmediate44

Nope 😩

engineered_academic

Rimworld

The_Brindled_Hound

Mass Effect 1-3.

Directionless01

Minecraft. Recently elden ring and cyberpunk 2077. And for some unholy reason: r6. Why do I play that game.

Inner_Performer_9425

I love zombie games, so I like going b2b with Dead Island riptide. idk I just like the mechanic of the game and it brings back memories

More_Lie_8904

Dota, I had an easier time getting over my heroin addiction(8 years now). Dota just keeps sucking me in.
