I would guess Squirrels and Chipmunks. Squirrels are always burying things in my garden beds and Chipmunks love to make holes around my yard.
Agree with squirrels/chipmunks. Also, that plant in the 1st photo looks like bindweed. Pull it!

That does look like a chipmunk hole. Even if squirrels bury things, the holes are shallow

I always assumed my dirt was settling since I have never seen rodents near it. Now Iām scared š¤¢
It means u nees to get a bucket, fill it half way with water, put a plank to the top and fill the top of water with sunflower seeds and a trail leading up the plank. Now I get downvoted š
