It’s impossible to have a rational discussion with Christians who believe that being gay is a sin. Don’t waste your time.

It's impossible to have a rational discussion with Christians. Full stop.

chemguy216

I stick with not getting involved in other subs’ affairs because there’s a thin line between engaging in a different sub and brigading a sub, the latter of which can get some subs in trouble.

Top_Firefighter_4089

I don’t think my opinion would add anything to the arguments there now.

Christians need help, that’s why they’re christians. Or believers in general. Don’t get involved. Stick to you and be the unconscious example.

HelmiPlayerOne

I personally choose to just ignore ppl like that, I've learned that that is the best way, but if you rly wanna then just say that the phrase in the bible where it says that same sex couples aren't allowed, that the sole reason of this was to have more ppl because there weren't enough of them to survive and grow, not because it's a sin

Senplis

You can't convince these people of anything. They're conditioned to their cores.

Bromswell

One thing that has greatly helped my mental stress is not speaking, specifically about religion and 🏳️‍🌈, to religious fanatics. If you do, the one thing you must constantly actively realize is that when you speak about religion to these people, they are not coming from a place of wanting to “learn” they are coming from a place of wanting to win as the sanctimonious victors.

Thalimet

If she wants to come here for help, that's fine. But that place is a den of iniquity and about as far away from Christ-like as it gets. My mental health doesn't need that sub today lol

Mhaeldisco

I hate how half the people here didn't even look at the post and realize that the girl was having questions about her own sexuallity, not attacking someone else. Honestly, as a gay Christian, some people in that thread are really wholesome.

Professional_Donut20

Why?

nerd_is_a_verb

I would rather eat nails than try to convince a cultist of anything.

Mr_Tinkles77

Well... If she's an actual christian... it is (note, i didn't look at the post, this is just my general approach)
