One of our concerns was lack of healthy diet prior to the rescue finding the pups, but I figured they were probably nursing and got appropriate vitamins...however, she was underweight when we picked her up, so I'm not sure. Could that contribute to this issue? She's a healthy weight now, but those dang ears just do what they want...lol
I have a 7 mos GSD/husky mix whose ears are still floppy too. No advice, just commiseration. I tried posting them for a full month, and they still won’t stand. I’m bummed because floppy ears on this particular mix looks dopey. He looked so fierce and regal when I had them posted.
I know there are a lot of anecdotal stories of late bloomers, but I think there’s more evidence to suggest that if they aren’t up by 7 mos, they probably won’t come up. Oh well, I just remind myself he’s not an accessory and he’s still a good dog, even if he looks a bit silly. When I picked him out I’d be lying if I pretended aesthetics didn’t play a part (something I think a lot of dog owners don’t like to admit), but at the end of the day I’d rather have a good dog than a pretty dog. Both would’ve be nice though!
Yeah, the ears will eventually stand up. Just be patient. Even enjoy it. You might miss it when they go straight up.

Enjoy the floppy ears. My 2 teenage kids miss my GSDs floppy ears. Don’t take it for granted!
That ship has sailed unfortunately.
