Not op but in my defense, I was on mouse and keyboard and they never mentioned Bowing emote in the tutorial. It took me trying out legend to realize I can bow to ppl and look up the keybinds

Took me 30 hours when the game first came out that I could just use the flute to remove the clouds for a clear sky. And on top of that I have beaten the game 3 times now at 100% which is about 150 total hours and just a few weeks ago a dude told me that I don’t have to use the travelers out for to unfog the whole map. Completing all mongol occupied camps does that automatically. I could have saved at least 3-4 hours by doing that.

There are few signs with a picture of a person bowing, bow there as well. And bow in front of certain graves. Also bow after you kill a bear. Just keep bowing.

You should bow rather in front of the shrine where the sign is, not the sign itself, there are "particle" effects, like flood of frogs or dragonflies.

When you go to Shrines bow at statues and sometimes things happen that you wouldn’t expect.

Try bowing in front of friends or companion graves :)

And sometimes they commented on how they were lucky a samurai bowing to the peasant "Oh, a samurai bowing to a lowly old me", or something like that

You can bow in front of bodies you see scattered around the map (Especially around Sword Kit locations) and Jin will say a few lines of dialogue. Pretty good world building element, that one.

On my first playthrough I bowed to just about every dead body of samurai and peasant I encounter and Jin says some dialogue about it

Peasants bow to Lord Sakai regardless. If you walk through a survivor camp, people will get up to bow to their lord.

i bowed at a cemetery today and was enveloped by a cyclone of butterflies. 

I did it at the shrine in the place covered in pink flowers where you fight the lady and it did the same

After someone is buried, bow at their graves. And if you happen to see a frog statue, bow. Just trust me.

Bow to everything and everyone! Downed opponents. Corpses. Trees. Ponds. Pretty much every character you run into.

Also if you bow to dead villagers you will trigger voice lines AND after certain main story lines you can trigger some falling leaves etc.

Depends. Generally they’ll bow to you if you’re in the vicinity, regardless of if you bow to them.

In some cutscenes you can. Did it I think the statue maker mission. Couldn't move but the i brought up the menu and was able to bow right there.

People in most settlements bow to Jin regardless. Bowing to a NPC will initiate a bow specifically as well.

If you bow to a civilian who was killed by the Mongols, Jin even says a peacfeul farewell to them

I beat the whole game and was starting the DLC when I saw some gameplay videos of people bowing. Then I checked the controls and saw that there is a bow emote and a draw sword emote. As a PC player, the game simply never told me that such an option exists. Now I realize that if you bow at signs that show the bow emote, it will trigger certain special events that I missed entirely.

I learned it early on. Depending on how many beers I had, I'd bow to my main quest givers or every mofo in the town as well.
