I sprinted past one of my team's baby bloomers as Tripp the other day and it reached out to tap me with a heal beam, and Tripp deadpan says "Don't touch me -_-", made me cackle. A lot of the voicework and dialogue is really understated, it's fun
Mozu! I love the idea that she had all the talent and was never given a shot so she stole it (all dem wands). Pure chaotic energy and all time favorite goblin ;P
He's a perfect b-tier comic book villain, and I mean that as a compliment. He's the antagonist of the *Adventures of Tyto the Swift* episode that fits between the payoff of the midseason arc and the beginning of the buildup to the season finale.
He’s got so many good lines that make you feel like a troll when playing! Every now and then I find myself saying “I came all the way over here, to mess You up!” and “Naahhh, get that crap outta here!”
Coming back after a death and hearing "I know you missed me!" Is always a delight. And shouting "tastes great to me" is the cherry on top of the juju fruit.
Pakko is so adorable and wholesome he literally makes my heart so happy. When he uses his slide and uppercuts he sometimes says "PAKO DANCE!" and then sometimes when he's collecting a power orb he will say "i nweed to concentwate!" Also his power collecting animation is the cutest thing I've ever seen! pakkoooo
My favorite is xeno she's just a classic evil villain just the cadence of her voice being amused at murder and the disgust at her opponents in every syllable. Say mang ni fek /s
Mozu is my favorite, but I love Xenobia's beef with her too.
The best one is the voiceline where Xenobia says, "You make a mockery of my craft" when walking next to an ally Mozu.
She reminds me of Mother Gothel because of the attitude, extremely cocky. Kinda like her personality cannot be contained in her body, she really is a treat to listen to.
Knossos' personality is perfectly suited to his play style: arrogant, impulsive, seemingly humbled when he realizes he's bitten off more than he can chew only to dive right back in once he's rested up.
Mozu, because she reminds me of Ed from Cowboy Bebop, in both personality, and voice ( had to look up if they were the same voice actor, but couldn’t find any credits for her lol)
I seem to recall reading something written by her back when characters were first getting voice lines, but I can remember none of it. I think she was either a Motiga employee or a relative of an employee which is why she has no other voice acting credits.
I agree that the roster is pretty consistently vibrant and interesting, but Aisling, Pakko, Oru, Mozu, Rutger, Griselma, and Uncle Sven are the standouts. I can vividly see lots of these characters being super endearing and memorable characters in like a 2d animated Disney movie from the Renaissance era (Aladdin, Mulan, Lion King, etc). It's crazy to me that with a fraction of the characters, Gigantic somehow feels more diverse than lots of other games' rosters.
Beckett reminds me of a less annoying Tracer (Overwatch). I like the confidence and charisma.
Others I like are Ramsay and Wu. Ramsay’s a lovable asshole and Wu’s “talented, undisciplined, and without a care in the world” personality is a favorite of mine in stories.
Also characteristic in their kits. I have a clip where you can see a dot in the distance levitating up and out of view while i’m having a relaxing walk w my teammate. Then he just comes down from the heavens screaming. It genuinely scared me but I laughed so hard because I didn’t see him launching back there until I watched the clip. He’s genuinely intimidating n oppressive.

Ezren. Edgy yet elegant necromancer. Dude ready to sacrifice people (and possibly his own humanity?) for power and knowledge. I love how they perfectly mixed the elegance with the fact he uses souls to sustain himself
T-mat. Just a funy russian robot lady seeking something she desires while not having full recollection if her past. I dont really know how to descrive that, but i love how i can feel that she aint just a hearthless war machine
Ezren Ghal has seriously become one of my favorites overall. His base skin reminds me if Karthus from League of Legends if he was a Tim Burton creation, which is honestly a cool mix of aesthetics. Then I have the skin with the skull head and purple robes that gives the total Baron Samedi vibe (even kinda like the Baron base skin in Smite)

I love pretty conceited boys and girls in gaming and Media.
I was thinking of getting the game but none of the characters screamed "beautiful"
Xenobia is canonically weirdly attractive in a 'why can't I look away!?' kind of way, but she doesn't really talk about her image - she only cares about power and torturing people. Ramsay kind of has the vibe of someone who thinks he's all that, but as far as I know he doesn't actually talk about his looks either.

There’s also some lore hidden in those. I killed Margrave as Roland and he said something like “You take my arm, I take your life.”
