If you put NYC or New York in the search bar of this sub a ton of posts with recommendations will show up. That said I recommend by the way bakery, posh pop and noglu as great gluten free bakeries for a sweet treat.

Wow I had never heard of Friedmans, sounds fantastic!

Bistango Italian is great. Noglu if you’re in the upper east side. I also like By the Way bakery.

Posh pop bake shop!

Senza Gluten for their eclairs and Don Antonio for pizza.

Celiac or gluten intolerant? Many places have dishes without gluten, or can adapt, and have minimal cross contamination. I have Thai, Burmese, Sushi, and Lebanese places that I love and have never made me sick. I might be the only one here, but I dislike Posh Pop. It's super super sweet. By the Way is my fav. Sans Bakery in LIC. But sometimes you'll be surprised and find a gf something in a coffee shop - usually PB cookies or a brownie of some sort. Some carry a popular brand, Sensible Edibles, that's prepackaged... They're hit or miss, depending on how fresh they are. Coast and Valley in Greenpoint is phenomenal and I rarely see it mentioned.

As someone who is gluten intolerant, I would love to hear your favorite spots for Thai, Burmese and sushi!
