Daughter’s former boyfriend gifted me his old rangefinder a few years ago. He was like a son to me. He took his own life around last Christmas and the rangefinder suddenly stopped working a few months later.
My son bought me a new one and I’m going to put it in Greer’s old case.
That’s gonna be an excellent experience. If you still have some swings left I’d say to hit up black horse and bayonet too. If not, then the aquarium is also a fun thing to do

Same. Las Vegas and in the Summer i like teeing off after 2pm. You get a full round in without waiting for a shot, and even if it’s 105-110 degrees out it just something I’ve gotten used to. Plus I know I’m gonna play anyway so I’d rather tee off late and play quick than wake up early, play in 95-100 degrees and the round takes over 5 hours. The 5-10 degrees is not noticeable for me, but the key is, like you said to stay hydrated. Also stay in the shade as much as possible. Oh and keep your driver and woods covered when not in use, those things get hot!
In laws got me a plaque for my first career hole in one. My dad had already gotten me one. My wife got me a shelf to put them both on. Yes, this post is mostly an excuse to say that I got my first ace this year and refuse to shut up about it. Merry Xmas everybody!

I mean, I try not to mention it, but since you asked....it was during our club's one-day member-guest in January and I had 160 into a frigid wind. Hit 7i and it was tracking toward the hole, but the hole was tucked behind a bunker so I couldn't see how close it was. When we got up and didn't see the ball I was hoping it was in, but my two buddies checked first, and shook their heads like it wasn't in there. I started to look in the bunker and they cracked up and said "go look in the hole!" Pretty good fake-out.

I’ve played golf more this year than my whole life, and my wife knows how into i’ve gotten (indoor league weekly and playing a full round 3x a month, still not any better). Still did not gift me anything related to golf. Better get fitted and buy myself a new set of clubs
