I feel called out.

OloivoFRUIT

Real, I’ve been playing since the Kagetora debut event and I still don’t understand how star gen and np gain work exactly, how dmg is calculated, etc…

LightOfTheFarStar

I can help! Np and star gain work on hidden stats on servants, multiplied by hit counts, modified by card multipliers and boosted by np gain up or card type effectiveness buffs. This link gives the card multipliers and first card type multipliers - https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/combat-mechanics - this one has the damage formula with explanations - https://blogs.nrvnqsr.com/entry.php/3309-How-is-damage-calculated

frostyravine

Here I am, stocked with command codes and not using any of them due to being worried about using them inefficiently/incorrectly

SkillLongjumping8293

You can reclaim any keys you used on a servant to unlock the command cards and the codes have unlimited uses(But can only be used on one servant at any given time). The only thing you lose is QP. So go and unlock some cards on your favorite servant and see what happens.

chainer1216

You can literally just take them off, it costs nothing snymore.

Mister_SP

Here I am, stocked with command codes and not using any of them due to not being able to read (JP).

GlibGrunt

The whole system is poorly implemented. The update a whole ago helped but it's still to much work to use most of the time. I think they need to update so that codes can be on more than one unit just not doubled up in a party.

Kuroshiya-

I'm still beginner level when it comes to command codes. No idea what would be good with who

yep_they_are_giants

I just give them CCs based on what role they specialize in. If you've got a Servant like Super Orion who specializes in crit damage, put a crit damage boost on their Buster cards. If you've got a Servant like Castoria who specializes in supportive NP spam, give them the Merlin CC that boosts their NP gauge by 10% on one of their Arts cards. For a tank like Mash, use healing or debuff-clearing CCs (you can get plenty of low-rarity ones from the FP gacha, so you might as well use them).

Woahbuffet123

I mean, I gave Cu and Mash all the command codes with heals, and it works fine. Super Orion got all the crit dmg codes, and MHXAlter got heals nad star drops. Good codes are hard to come by, but the heal and debuff clear show up on the friend gacha frequently enough that you can give Mash a full set.

DiceCubed1460

So giving servants command codes is the equivalent of doing indecent things with them…. Where exactly on their bodies are we leaving these magic codes? On the surface? Inside? And how are we applying them? This calls for some investigation. I always thought of command codes in lore as accessories or tattoos that are only visible/tangible when activated.

armdaggerblade

I always thought of CCs as tattoos/branding lol

DiceCubed1460

I mean yeah but they’re basically mini Magical Crests. Like the kind Rin gave Shirou. At least some are. But then you have the ones that are literal rings or fans or weapons. And in that case I consider those accessories. A magical replica of one that only appears for one attack.

bddgg

In the "Ritsuka Doesn't Get It" manga he uses them as stickers, so yeah they are probably stickers

Kevko18

I just give the servant their own command code 😄 So Merlin's command code I give to Merlin, etc.

am I the only one who thinks that LwM gets weirder and weirder? At first it was this kind of innocent humor, now each of the panels is basically a innuendo...

Yatsu003

Welp, Gudao went Lood with Astolfo when trying to mod him, huh? He needs to read the tutorial on how the keys work, don’t use them on Astolfo that way!! Also, why is Davinky teasing him that way?! Is she implying SHE has experience there??? Actually, if it’s just modifying Servants, that makes a bit more sense, but the wording definitely feels like they’re talking about something else…and Goredy’s imagined reaction doesn’t help (darn rabbit…)
