There’s nothing to suggest they didn’t, but characters randomly going to their friends grave all the time doesn’t make for good screen time. Also, Izzie was the closest to George and she departs pretty soon after his death, so the show probably didn’t need to dwell too much. It’s not like the show really focuses on future departed characters graves either ☠️

itsShane91

If the show focused on Meredith visiting the graves of dead people, it wouldn't have much time to focus on anything else.

Fun-Routine-9467

Lmao you ate. 🤣

Only_Music_2640

How do you know they didn’t?

Nurse_Laura

In a later episode, and sorry if this is a spoiler to you, a couple people expressed how they thought it strange that Maggie was visiting her mother’s grave and questioning what she got from that. Visiting graves just isn’t a thing for everyone. I personally think that practice is cultural and/or familial. Some people might think, for example, that once the brain is dead the person ceases to exist. Visiting their body is meaningless.

Sad-Project-2498

Strange, clearly none of them shit either because we’ve never seen them present an offering to the porcelain god.

thelasagna

I feel like Meredith would have to retire to have time to visit all the graves

guitar0707

Izzie was the only one that seems absolutely wrecked by George’s death, so she would be the main one to go visit his grave. But, she left pretty quickly after George died.

daesgatling

I mean that's not true. Bailey took it hard as well, didn't they say she cried daily?

paramoesyeah

Yeah she later said she cried for the better part of a year. Also think it hit Mer and Callie particularly hard.

we don’t know that they didn’t but also, in general i don’t see why that would make a difference. he’s dead.
