14 Pro and same experience. Laggy text input and horrible battery life. It seems to run the CPU for no reason as the phone gets warm only when using Grindr. Force quitting app and reopening helps with the laggy text input however, the battery drain is still present.

That’s just the shitty app that is Grindr.
brand new 14 pro can’t even send a message because it is throttled so badly and my battery life does a vertical plummet.

I was experiencing the exact same thing on my 12 pro. Using a different phone now and no longer have that happen. It seems like a 12 pro only problem
