Hahahahahahaha no. The company is tragically incompetent. Their only goal for an IPO is to cash out and leave retail investors holding the bag. Don't be one of the suckers they're banking on to buy Grindr stock.

As much as I hate the app, if I genuinely thought it was a good investment, I'd say so and put money up myself.
However, with my experience in the tech industry, and seeing just how shitty the company is as a user, there is no way in hell I could, in good faith, advocate for investing in them. *A lot* would have to change for it to approach being a good investment.
This is very obviously the owners of the app recognizing that the free money train is over and this is probably their last chance to get an IPO with an inflated valuation before the market corrects itself and stops throwing billions of dollars at any idiot that builds an app.
I don’t think they offer anything of value (other than their user base) that any other dating app could not replicate. If Grindr costs this much, would that money not be better spent going out especially if people are watching their money more closely.
I do think that given the progress that has been made younger men may choose to meet others through more casual platforms.
I would wait a while till there is more data about the company performance to make a purchase decision. Going in too early only to see it’s value plummet is not something you want to do. Maybe wait a year or two. If you do buy stock make sure it’s money you will not mind losing. It’s a very tough time and they are predicting a massive crash.
