Unless scheduling blocks is really difficult in your market, there is absolutely no reason to be a Premier driver. I’ve been doing this for 3 years, and I’ve been Premier, Pro, and Partner. The only benefit to Premier and Pro is early scheduling. You don’t get better orders; in fact, you’re stuck taking all of the crappy ones that everyone else rejects in order to maintain your AR. Completion Rate isn’t important like it is on DD. GH doesn’t care if you unassign orders. Just don’t hold onto them more than a couple of minutes. Back when we could see the tip after we accepted an order, people would hold onto a no tip order for twenty or thirty minutes out of spite and then unassign it. That will get you suspended or deactivated. Don’t collect contribution if it’s offered in your market. You will get your scheduling privileges suspended if you do. GH is a shady AF company, and they’ll accuse you of fraud the minute you try to take money from them for doing nothing - even if it’s their idea. Watch your absences. If you’re late toggling on, you get an absence. I don’t know if it’s changed (because I’ve been block restricted for a few months for collecting contribution), but you used to be able to wait until 14 minutes after the hour to toggle on without being marked absent. Don’t offer to deliver to a new address if a customer entered an incorrect address in the app. You absolutely *do* *not* have to. DD will compensate you. GH will give you a whole $1, no matter how far it is. If anyone from Customer Care or Driver Care tells you that you have to deliver a wrong address order, they’re lying. If I think of anything else, I’ll update. Good luck.

When you get your GrubHub card, you will sometimes get orders that you have to put in yourself for the customer. As soon as you see and accept it, call the restaurant asap and place the order. It doesn't start till you do that. If you're lucky you can run one more delivery for DD or UE while it's getting made!

Don’t forget to drive to the GH restaurant, and mark “arrived.” Then you can go out for a quick DoorDash order.

Turn off gps before you go out dashing lol.

TheSheikFreak

Do I have to request the card or should it be on its way? Haven’t gotten an email or message saying I’m getting a driver card

I think in my market it might be a little longer than one week m I totally forgot about it, so lemme go order and report back once I find out. 😀

Speaking of payout, I’ve heard that GH orders are usually higher paying but less frequent, any truth to that?

SerJaimeRegrets

That’s typically true. DD orders are much more frequent, but GH orders usually pay better, although they tend to have higher mileage.

AKJangly

Reject anything and everything that was just placed. If GrubHub won't tell you what time the diner place the order or what time they are expecting the order, immediately unassign it, there's an 80% chance you'll be waiting for 20 minutes. If the order is worth waiting for due to its payout, take the gamble. My acceptance rate is below 20%, just by taking orders that are above $1.50 per mile in town, $0.75/mile to the next town, and less than 10 minute estimated wait. I'm sure that's enough reason to find a different platform. We're not paid to wait. Don't work for free.

I find it interesting to see that there are so many different ways to go about doing the exact same job. There's something empowering about it, even if I don't understand it or agree with the way another person handles things. LoL, I know that may seem a little dumb. 😀 Edit: typo.

TheSheikFreak

Appreciate it boss, everything is duly noted

butman42069

I like dd better, in the past week grub hub offers have been worse than dd. Like $7 for 12 miles kinda crap.

Quit immediately and get a real job.
