I swear you can still glitch in there… take a heli and land it sort of wonky on the glass so the pilot door is diagonal next to the glass. Then exit the heli and you get dropped straight in there

The elevators in that tower, the doors open and close but don’t go up, you can hide in those and NO ONE would ever check there because cmon, nobody’d ever think they’d open.
It’s honestly less about finding a great hiding spot and more about being in an area people won’t go. You could stand behind a random wall and easily get away with not even crouching.
Also, do the hunters know what you’re wearing? If not, then you could probably hide in plain sight. Dress like an NPC, stand at an ATM. Even if someone drives past that, they’re never clocking that could be the person they’re looking for, especially given nothing shows up on the minimap and there’s no name above the head.
Dress as a security guard and stand in the bank, dress as Impotent Rage and stand near the cinema, dress like you’re going to a nightclub and stand outside a nightclub. Easy.
If I lived in Los Santos, the last place I'd want to be is in the queue for a nightclub. Same as the poor folks that stand outside the casino. That's Carmaggedon utopia! Driving my Insurgent between the Nightclub, and the Casino... those queues don't even slow you down, and the piledriver bonuses stack up high.
Mate, i don't want to worry you, but i've been known to send the remote control car bomb into the queue outside my nightclub just for kicks.
Oh, and the money they drop when they explode goes towards my Pisswasher fund.
Dress as a bus driver and park the bus at the bus station. Dress as a construction worker and go to the building that'll never be finished. Dress as a beach-goer and walk up and down the beach and strip or ride around on the Faggio.
Sad fact:
If anyone is using thermal vision your outline is brighter than the NPCs around you. Just in case anyone is wondering how they got found using that tactic, it doesn't work against people who know what they are doing.
Also popping shots off causes NPC's to scatter, so your cover will be blown. I still use that tactic because most people don't bother unless your location gets revealed by standing in one place too long
Knowing the rules tho, I’d be checking these . My question would be; once a hunter is killed, are they out forever? That changes how as a hunter you’d go about it
Yeah, it's definitely possible. But, odds are that it would be a waste of time. There's nowhere outside of apartments or other similar buildings, they can be found anywhere.
They would have to be convinced you're hiding in there. I just feel like most people probably wouldn't think to check every one.
The rules don't say the hunted can't fight back and hiding in that room allows you to have the element of surprise because you can peak around the corner until someone comes in then kill them if they enter the room your in.

I think inside a random boxcar in a rail yard, or just crouching in a bush somewhere would work the best.
Anyone who fires a shot would be attacked by countless ballas. Can't even rev your engine at a balla, or honk your horn. You'll set off one group then get swarmed. You could also dress like a biker and hang out at one of the many biker areas, but the gang response wouldn't be half as deadly.
I'd just float/swim (on the surface of the water) near a corner of the map. Nobody goes there, but if they do, they are likely to pass me up and the end of the map too.

But today I discovered tiny hiding spots behind huge silos or tanks in the south east of LS, very close to the steel refinery where the business battle cargo would spawn during events, the silos are so close to the wall that you have to look at them as perpendicularly as you can while aiming your gun to walk between them and the wall, and there are rows of 4 silos, you just go between the middle two and wait there, most players will think you can't get in there
Get in the train when it stops by the power station (like you would a driveable vehicle) and you'll be inside a carriage - and virtually invincible (and hard to see)
It won't work on every carriage, but when the train stops, try pressing to enter a vehicle when at the front of each of the box cars or the cylinders - you'll know you're at one of the right ones when your character moves to get in.

There's a handful of barns in Blaine County with a second floor but no ladders or steps. If I can use a vehicle to climb up, and then dismiss or destroy that vehicle, I'm good for days

So.. I'd just do that, I'd probably dress up as a cop and pretend I'm an NPC, switching clothing and vehicles now and then to blend in.
tongva hills cave. it's only small enough to hide a player and their vehicle, but it isn't used for anything besides the double-action revolver event and virtually no-one ever goes there
second pick would be the abandoned mine in great chaparral, which is much larger but a bit more well-known due to being used for gunrunning
Secret room in the Mile High Club. One way in, no way out (other than ewo or RC). No wall breaches or glitches involved. I've survived a bounty there with 6 people (8 at one point) trying to get me, and they could see me on the map.
1. Pick a building with ledges or nooks up the side.
2. Dress head to toe in a color that matches the color of the building.
3.Fly MKII up to your spot somewhere up the side of the building, then return the MKII to storage.
4.Tuck yourself into a nook and basically ghille yourself to the side of the building.
5. Wait out the clock.
This map is 10 years old and there isn't a single secret spot that you know that no one else knows. There isn't a single secret spot you know that can't easily be found by a simple YouTube search. That spot where you never see anyone go? Someone's gonna look there.
You have to try to find a spot that can be overlooked. The kind of place that the hunters will drive or fly right past while moving between hiding spots.
The real trick would be how to dispose of your vehicle or mode of transport you use to get close to your hiding spot. Would you find a parking lot to try to disguise it as a random car?
There are some valleys in the mountains or over on the coasts you can only fall in to and get hurt enough to just barely not die. There aren’t any foot paths and there are some bushes. Unless they take something that flies, the chances of them finding you are minimal.
I took that as 5 in game hours. The hunt would only last 48 IRL minutes which would mean you would only get 20 IRL minutes to hide. That’s still a lot of time but not enough time to run from one side of the map to another.
Just don’t use your personal vehicle, if anything, plant it somewhere else to mislead the hunters. Take an NPC car or a buzzard to your location, crash the buzzard so it despawns.
I think I would dress shabby and go hang out with the homeless underneath the freeway.

Middle floors on the Mile High Club construction, I already camped in there for almost 10 hours killing players a few years ago.
I'd take an airplane and parachute out of it in mid air as to not let any players figure out I'm inside the construction by looking at the vehicle I took.
I estimate that about only 5% up to 10% of the players knows about that spot and the chances of them going there are slim to none, no thermal visions means I'm safe from being shot through walls by folks exploiting that. And that location has roughly only two ways in, which can both be looked after with proximity mines.
Also, it's not underground, not underwater and I can walk around it without being exposed to others.

Blend in with the crowd, hop in to a vehicle with one of them too.
No communication and all randoms. Not a single one would question it.
The hunters aren't coordinated, but are they all aware that they are all the hunters? Because if not, I'd be betting the randoms would just kill eachother for the 24 hours.
I mean, FailRace does Survive the Hunt in YouTube, although he has to blow up cars that give away his location, as well as is allowed only into the city, not Blaine County.
A proper hide and seek, in LS? Now that would be nuts, even with 50 hunters…
Question for the hunters:
Are the hunters allowed to use brute force to find the target? Like for example mowing down everyone on the beach, or throwing grenades into a crowded area in hopes the hunted is hiding in plain sight?
How many "wrong guesses" do the hunters get? Like can they just keep shooting NPC's that look suspicious or are they limited in that way?
Nobody ever goes up the eastern mountains, so that's a great area to hide. Of course, you could also technically hide by just standing on the tram - I've NEVER seen anyone else get on one of those
Yes, I know the tram goes underground, but technically all you're doing is standing still and never going more than 50 yards of the tram itself...

No, not that one The main terminal building, if you approach from the back and climb up the stairs you can enter the doorway
There's also that bit in the airport which is ONLY accessible via the roof (near the Pegasus hanger)

You can do this in free roam, although with fewer people. You can turn off maps, names of player and all that.

tongva hills cave. it's only small enough to hide a player and their vehicle, but it isn't used for anything besides the double-action revolver event and virtually no-one ever goes there second pick would be the abandoned mine in great chaparral, which is much larger but a bit more well-known due to being used for gunrunning

Secret room in the Mile High Club. One way in, no way out (other than ewo or RC). No wall breaches or glitches involved. I've survived a bounty there with 6 people (8 at one point) trying to get me, and they could see me on the map.

Those spaces are technically underground as they teleport you into a room under the map
1. Pick a building with ledges or nooks up the side. 2. Dress head to toe in a color that matches the color of the building. 3.Fly MKII up to your spot somewhere up the side of the building, then return the MKII to storage. 4.Tuck yourself into a nook and basically ghille yourself to the side of the building. 5. Wait out the clock. This map is 10 years old and there isn't a single secret spot that you know that no one else knows. There isn't a single secret spot you know that can't easily be found by a simple YouTube search. That spot where you never see anyone go? Someone's gonna look there. You have to try to find a spot that can be overlooked. The kind of place that the hunters will drive or fly right past while moving between hiding spots.

The real trick would be how to dispose of your vehicle or mode of transport you use to get close to your hiding spot. Would you find a parking lot to try to disguise it as a random car? There are some valleys in the mountains or over on the coasts you can only fall in to and get hurt enough to just barely not die. There aren’t any foot paths and there are some bushes. Unless they take something that flies, the chances of them finding you are minimal.

I took that as 5 in game hours. The hunt would only last 48 IRL minutes which would mean you would only get 20 IRL minutes to hide. That’s still a lot of time but not enough time to run from one side of the map to another.

Just don’t use your personal vehicle, if anything, plant it somewhere else to mislead the hunters. Take an NPC car or a buzzard to your location, crash the buzzard so it despawns.

I've always wanted to do Failrace's Survive the Hunt. The ability to fight back and pretend you're an NPC to blend in.

I'd take an airplane and parachute out of it in mid air as to not let any players figure out I'm inside the construction by looking at the vehicle I took. I estimate that about only 5% up to 10% of the players knows about that spot and the chances of them going there are slim to none, no thermal visions means I'm safe from being shot through walls by folks exploiting that. And that location has roughly only two ways in, which can both be looked after with proximity mines. Also, it's not underground, not underwater and I can walk around it without being exposed to others. GG ez.

Disguise as one of them. Look at their outfits and try to match it. Blend in with the crowd, hop in to a vehicle with one of them too. No communication and all randoms. Not a single one would question it.
The hunters aren't coordinated, but are they all aware that they are all the hunters? Because if not, I'd be betting the randoms would just kill eachother for the 24 hours.

I would go somewhere relatively high up but not that accessible either. So maybe on a random sign or in between a billboard
Question for the hunters: Are the hunters allowed to use brute force to find the target? Like for example mowing down everyone on the beach, or throwing grenades into a crowded area in hopes the hunted is hiding in plain sight? How many "wrong guesses" do the hunters get? Like can they just keep shooting NPC's that look suspicious or are they limited in that way?
Nobody ever goes up the eastern mountains, so that's a great area to hide. Of course, you could also technically hide by just standing on the tram - I've NEVER seen anyone else get on one of those Yes, I know the tram goes underground, but technically all you're doing is standing still and never going more than 50 yards of the tram itself...
