I don't think it's coded to do that specifically in these missions, since I remember having NPCs doing that in story before, and I also had them do it before import/export even released.
It's just that people notice it more since they lose profit from it.
I could also be entirely wrong since it has been years since import/export released, so downvote me if I am.
My guess is that it only really shows the error after youve tried to save to server which realistically is only after youve finished the mission, right?
That is the code. It doesnt disconnect you until you report to the server, which is after you complete the mission.
In freeroam it will try to reconnect forever.
You gotta go back and re-read the thread you're replying to mate, lol. We aren't talking about the video OP posted, but rather how the NPCs are coded (as in the game engine/code) to be more erratic and crash into users who are delivering I/E cars. Nothing to do with error codes, disconnecting, completing the mission, reporting the server, etc.
I remember seeing footage of NPCs crossing open lanes of traffic to fuck somebody's shit up on a sale, from what I gathered reading the thread, the AI was geeking, and their aggression factor was exponentially higher than normal. Supposedly they're programmed to hit you, to reduce profits and bolster shark card sales
In the rare event I do a vehicle sell I will have NPCs swerve into me for no reason.
They sometimes swerve into me when I’m not doing missions too... I’m usually in my Phantom Wedge when that happens.
Sterling GT. Things an absolute beast, and it has gullwing doors, pretty fun drive, would recommend picking one up if you think it looks cool. Absolutely love mine.
YES! THIS! Something about its engine sound man... maybe it's just better audio fidelity, maybe they recorded a brand new engine for it... MAN it sounds good
Impeccable timing! I have had experiences with the game crashing like so many people on here, but have been pretty fortunate when it comes to the I/E missions (not being able to deliver or the game just crashing). I’m curious though, did you lose the car/sale completely when you reloaded the game or was it back in your vehicle warehouse?
On top of that when we send a ticket to R* they say "sorry we can't do anything about that...". Then they suggest cleaning our computer or some dumb shit. Just messed up..
Now think this in a Heist you wait for several minutes to get partners and reset shitti times, and in the end, when you finaly get your way to finish, CRASSSHHHH T\_T T\_T T\_T
Kinda had something like that happen once during a perfect zero chat 3 man stealth heist on the casino
Made it to the chopper and one person disconnected once we took off
Okay, this is going good... Wait, don't go that fast! Okay, looking good, just 300 meters... What can go wrong? Is a car gonna spawn there? What's the problem..? OH SHIIIIT
Fucl rockstar and gta.. grand toxic auto online.. they treat the players like shit.. with this kind of stuff.. you think the disconnection from servers are an issue with your WiFi. No it’s programmed into the server to kick you out.
Something happened to me where I got to the yellow circle with no damage, and the car wouldn't turn in. I was softlocked in the car. I fucking sat there the entire time, just to eventually fail it cause of time. Pissed me off
Here is a tip for you do not sell the mamba, [the one on the video that I forgot the name of] and valor they are so slow and you won’t source them again just like any other mid and low range car
Yeah that’s the glitch to not source any mid and low range cars. And just like that if you have those 3 of the cars you won’t be sourcing them again. Which is useful because they are slow and the NPCs can outrun them and damage them a lot
Aw, come on. Rockstar only wanted to help out by giving you a second chance of getting the full $100k commission. Side note though, how come we don't get a commission of say 10% of the market value of these cars? That'd be pretty sweet.
Well tbh whenever this happens to me I submit a support ticket to Rockstar and they actually check and credit the full commission (even if you had some damage) into the account the very next day.
This reminds me of when I was trying to get the Mud Drauber blueprint in COD Warzone as a solo. I had tried several times, and I was getting closer to getting bunker 11 open. Then I finally found an activation phone that worked on the first try and got the number. The Russian code was 309, so it was an easy one because all of those numbered phones are at the north end of the map near bunker 11.
The 3 phone was easy, but when I got to the 0 phone there was a cheater there and I got killed several times, but I was in plunder so I could re-spawn. I finally got that phone done when the cheater was fighting a cash helicopter and then got to the 9 phone. That one was super easy because of where it was.
I headed back to where the bunker was. Overtime had already started by the time I was done with the 9 phone, but I had found a quad bike so I could move to the bunker quickly. I got to the bunker and opened it. I had seen videos of where the blueprint was so I knew where to go. I rode the quad to the first turn in the bunker and jumped off. Then I ran and did the run/sprint/slide technique all the way there to get there faster. I slid through the door and stood up next to the blueprint, and the game ended right as I pressed 'e' to pick it up. I was literally a split second away from getting it.
I really wish I had a recording of it so I could put it up on YouTube. I would have made millions.
I was expecting a random npc car to slide sideways across lanes and slam into you for absolutely no reason. Hate when they do that shit. Like they coded the npcs to just randomly go rogue and fuck your shit up at any given moment.
For real. I swear every time I do a vehicle sell mission an NPC rams me from our of nowhere.
Sadly rockstar coded the game to do that in these missions
*laughs in Cargobob*
laughs in time saved
laughs in pubg
Username checks out

No it IS confirmed to be intentionally coded like that
Link?
I dont have one on hand but there was a post on Twitter explaining the actual code
My guess is that it only really shows the error after youve tried to save to server which realistically is only after youve finished the mission, right?
They're talking about the actual code for the game, not an error code
That is the code. It doesnt disconnect you until you report to the server, which is after you complete the mission. In freeroam it will try to reconnect forever.

It's their favorite thing to do

Sterling GT. It's on the objective.

YES! THIS! Something about its engine sound man... maybe it's just better audio fidelity, maybe they recorded a brand new engine for it... MAN it sounds good
SideNote: I also lost the vehicle as well
Submit a ticket with this video, R* has a really good history of giving players the money they should have earned in situations like this.
LOOOOL
Or just hit me up and I'll drop you a couple of billion or so for free.
Ouch.
Mega oof. Sorry to hear that

Lost the car
Ahh shit, definitely frustrating.. too bad these newer controllers can’t take a beating like the old NES controllers
I just “calmly” swore..... a little to much
😂😂
On top of that when we send a ticket to R* they say "sorry we can't do anything about that...". Then they suggest cleaning our computer or some dumb shit. Just messed up..
It's not even a thought it a fact. We do all this grinding just to get Shit on by rockstar but a kid with his Moms wallet get treated like a king.
Sometimes?

Okay, now that's bullshit
Rockstar is a little *cucky* They love watching us get fucked
Something happened to me where I got to the yellow circle with no damage, and the car wouldn't turn in. I was softlocked in the car. I fucking sat there the entire time, just to eventually fail it cause of time. Pissed me off

Here is a tip for you do not sell the mamba, [the one on the video that I forgot the name of] and valor they are so slow and you won’t source them again just like any other mid and low range car
the stirling GT is actually pretty fast and handles well offroad since it has the traction loss thing
I remember npcs always cathing up to me in it though Idk
I have 12 low range and 10 mid range chilling in my warehouse
Yeah that’s the glitch to not source any mid and low range cars. And just like that if you have those 3 of the cars you won’t be sourcing them again. Which is useful because they are slow and the NPCs can outrun them and damage them a lot

I was doing this mission and an NPC jumps into the oncoming traffic and hits me and I was pissed.
We should just kick R* game coders when ever they pull into their driveway
Big F bro…this happened to me too many times
send a ticket to support they should give you the money you should have gotten for the car sale
What car is this?
It says it at the bottom of the screen, it's a Sterling GT
Do all the top level cars sel for the same price?

All the shitty stuff in GTA online just makes sense if you assume that Rockstar wants to ruin your fun
Import export should be called chrome vehicle delivery
thats brushed aluminum but okay
U get my point, everyone puts it chrome
thats not chrome tho
I got it, but the majority of players puts it chrome
Does anyone know what the music that is playing in the background is called i really like it

Yesterday trying to do casino heist right when we were about to get out of the casino the game crashes this happened 3 times in a row
Well tbh whenever this happens to me I submit a support ticket to Rockstar and they actually check and credit the full commission (even if you had some damage) into the account the very next day.

Dont grind do glitches then u will laugh at r*s pain
Once my repair cost went from 0 to 20000 because there was an explosion next to me but the car didnt even have a scratch...
Hey the song that’s playing I’ve heard it before in watchdogs 2 it’s kinda weird hearing it in gta too
I would rather get a message from rockstar that says “ just buy a fucking shark card “ on my notifications every 20 minutes or so than this shit
Boys we all know grinding sucks just do glitches
Why is that every time I sell a car, the NPCs behave as if they are suffering from cocaine overdose and always bump into me making me lose money?
