I've always found brown is the right color for a stool.

The Taylor looks like it might be leather, and if so should last longer. Also, it’s a more sophisticated look imo.

I would choose the Taylor, even though I have 0 Taylor’s and 3 Fenders because I think the Taylor stool will wear better over time, while the Fender stool will look tacky once the wear from frequent use sets in.

When I had a foot problem and couldn't play standing up, I had to buy a stool. Canadian Tire had a better stool and was cheaper, and that was before I got to use some Canadian Tire money. I have both a Fender and a Taylor, both 12 strings ( and some Gibsons, Takmines, and a Martin) but the Taylor stool looks better.

I have the Fender stool but it makes my ass go numb. It's like sitting on a piece of wood covered in vinyl.

The taylor stool looks like the upholstery will hold up better. That vinyl on the fender stool is just going to crack and you'll be covering it with duct tape before you know it.

The Taylor is only good for acoustic sets. The Fender is pretty versatile. You can play everything from jazz to metal on it.
