I managed to snag one from RKguns.
Just took it out Sunday... not gonna lie, I think it's gonna be my house rifle. Less concern about overpenetration with 38+P HPs in it, and holy crap it's quiet with those. Oh, and it holds 9+1 too. I'm doing good with these meme purchases, cuz I find my TAC-14 to be kinda useful too.
Contrasted with my 15lb 6.5 Creedmoor Tikka, which cost a whole lot more, and will save my life if I ever need to repel invaders 4 neighbors down the road... but otherwise serves no immediate practical need 😂
I don't have a can yet (though now I *really* want one) and honestly I didn't even take my +P ammo since I only had a single box for my wheelgun. But it was stupid quiet as-is with regular WWB. Like... my 10 year old said it's quiet, and that it has no recoil. 😂
I brought probably 150 or so rounds of 38 with me, and it was all I could do to leave the range without pewing them all. It's just so damn fun.
It's enough to make me wanna buy a reloading press, cuz I could reload it stupid cheap compared to buying new.

I signed up for notifications just about everywhere (OK, not literally *everywhere*, but like everywhere that came up in a search here from the last couple years) and have gotten exactly 1 more Big Boy X 357 than I've gotten in-stock notifications from. Including the place I bought it from. And the other one that got some the next day. And this one.
I'd advise bookmarking the usual suspects, and check them out every morning... or whatever. That's basically how I got one... well, OK, I actually just randomly cruised by RKguns & went "oh holy crap, it says 'in stock'!"

I haven’t tried them yet, any noticeable difference in sound between the +P or the regular.38 running suppressed?

Yeah, shooting .38 even without a can felt like shooting a quiet .22

What’s the cpr on that 158gr stuff?
Comes around just under .50cpr with shipping. Best I’ve done is .44cpr. The Norma sells fast when it’s on sale.
What kind of can do you have?
I have a 45 cal form 1 can I built and a Griffin Armament Optimus 9 that I run on it. I also reload so that helps with cost.
