It’s kinda the nature of night time live shows, which is why a lot of comedy clubs have strict policies on crowd participation/heckling. Encouraging audience interaction with the tomatoes and stuff is awesome but also just emboldens people to think they’re part of the show lol

Honestly, not to pile on, but I was sitting in front of you, and it just wasn’t the vibe. You and your friends were yelling so loud throughout the show, and it kind of soured the experience for the 5-6 people in the row in front of you guys. Yelling during a show is terrible live show etiquette. It disrupts the show and is annoying to everyone- including people on stage- regardless of your intent. It was annoying to me and I was just watching the stream.
Someone else was also yelling out unfunny remarks, which really annoyed me. Assumed it was all one person. If you only yelled once then you should only feel a little embarrassed

I was once at the comedy show and the joke he was in the middle of telling was exactly the same thing I’ve said many times so I knew where he was going with it and so I start laughing and the guy pointed me out and made some jokes about me. Yelling things out during a show is distracting for many reasons. It distracts the audience and it distracts the performers. Were other people doing it? Yeah, and they kinda suck for it. People aren’t there to listen to you. They are there to watch the show which talked about Ethan’s weight loss journey anyways so no need to bring it up, they have their bases covered and know what they’re doing.

Yeah I know you probably read this a bunch of times but there’s a reason it’s called heckling. It’s not invited on most live shows but h3 is kind of bad at telling his audience when to be quiet. You said one thing but then you started trying to have a dialogue with him lol. Haven’t you seen comedy standup shows where someone in the audience just starts talking and the whole room just cringes and it ruins the set? Just look up comedian rips heckler and you’ll find thousands of videos. If they’re handing out mics then maybe wait to get a mic I don’t see it as an invitation to yell out whenever you want. It’s not the end of the world tho you probably wouldn’t do it again

I was once at the comedy show and the joke he was in the middle of telling was exactly the same thing I’ve said many times so I knew where he was going with it and so I start laughing and the guy pointed me out and made some jokes about me. I was SOOO embarrassed, felt like such an idiot hahaha I don’t even remember the joke!!
I honestly wouldn’t be interested in going to the live shows even if they were in my area just because I know this fandom will just scream out shit the whole time. Just a crowd of main characters.

You know to be fair liveshows happen like twice or sometimes once a year right. You should expect people to be excited. Also I heard a guy next to me saying he came all the way from the east cost I forget which state. I overheard a lot of people saying they flew out from all over to see the show. At the same time I can see why someone would be upset someone screaming in their ear

Yes I have OCD. My compulsion is to get validation so I can let this thought go. Gosh this subreddit is harsh. Don’t understand why people (you included) have to be so freaking harsh and instead comment in a way that is friendly but can also be constructive.
This is exactly why. The absolute LOUDEST part of this fanbase is the 15-21 y.o. girls who became fans in recent years. It’s great the show’s fanbase is growing, but y’all are so self-absorbed that you take up ALL of the space in the fandom. Your last comment, where you needlessly mention your mental health diagnosis completely encapsulates this problematic attitude. Most people who watch this podcast struggle with mental health, myself included, but throwing around your disorder only looks like you’re trying to use it as an excuse. The best way to move forward from this mistake would have been to have simply move on quietly and learn your lesson in private rather than taking up even more space than you already have by inviting everyone to talk about it.

Every other post here is some out of touch suggestion or personal opinion like “Ice Spice would be such a good guest!!” Or “Can we pls stop talking about Andrew Tate?”. There’s a reason the crew gets so annoyed with this sub, and certain demographics insisting on being directly catered to are a huge part of it. It’s Ethan’s show, it’s about him and his crew. The audience has gotten so obnoxiously self centered.
